uploading music

hi, i´m kinda new in this forums and i want to upload some music. i read the upload rules but they are some that i don´t understand, like "not requested already" and some others, any help is welcome. p.s. sorry if the question is kinda noob |

I don't see how any of it is hard to understand, but here goes: This site works by adding music by popular request, not purely by user contribution. Someone requests song X in the request list. Other people see song X and realize they would like to hear it and vote for that request. Someone else sees the request for song X and realizes they have that song, so they upload it. After some time, our benefactor, Gendou himself makes a trip through the request list. He notices that song X has received a decant amount of votes, as well as being uploaded, so he takes it off the request list and adds it to the database with all the other songs. He also weeds out the requests that have been there a long time and haven't received very many votes so the list doesn't get too big. From time to time downloading, uploading, or requesting can be turned off or on depending on the state of the site, so if it's turned off, just stick it out and wait. |

also, when downloadind, uploading, or requesting has been turned off, there can be numbers of reasons why gendou would do this. one would be because there aren't enough funds from donations to help him keep the site running. in case you haven't noticed, the site has its own address. that address is obviously being paid for... and who else will be paying for it but the creator himself, neh~? though donating is not required, it is recommended and encouraged. ^^ another reason would be because gendou is running low on disk space or bandwidth for all the songs that he's got. it takes a HUGE piece of contraption to store all that, don't you think so? no, not really. just a big memory, and larger bandwidth. don't even bother asking how much bandwidth and memory all the songs gendou has takes up. you're going to drown in the numbers. just as what psoplayer said, wait patiently when things around here switch off. gendou is, after all, only a human being --- and a genius at that --- and he obviously needs to keep things on order as well. as for the rules, i don't know why you didn't understand them, either (maybe it's because you don't understand english very well?), but it's better that you clarified these things out, rather than getting into trouble because you misunderstood the rules. i see you've been around for a month so far... just keep reading the faqs and rules, owkie? have fun here in gendou!
