Encountering trouble downloading

It says in the Terms of Use that we may not download more than 10 downloads at the same time.

However, I cannot download beyond 1. And now, I can't even download. It says I am already downloading 10 songs at the same time, which I'm not.

Could this be an IP identification error? Please assist. Thanks.

Download one at a time. Be patient and don't be desperate otherwise you'll kill bandwidth.

Hmmm.. when i attempted to download a song, it prompt me the massage above?
Can anyone enlightened me what does that mean?

Is it the same prob as what Guardian84 is facing as well?

Nope you're not answering.

Now I cannot even download one song. Not even one song.

It's not about the multiple session anymore. It's the inability to download even one song.

And yeah, that's the error msg I got as well.

Any clarifications on this issue?

I was saying that to Piglet. Anyway, it looks like your downloading privelages may have been suspended for breaking the rules. Downloading too fast or downloading too many songs at a time can cause this. Please slow down and download songs one at a time, you're killing bandwidth if you don't.

If you have any other questions regarding your problem, email Gendou about it, this is all I can say.

The IP address you are using is a proxy server located in Singapore.
There are 5373 other Gendou.com users who also share this proxy.

@guardian84: hmmmmm... loooks like it isn't your fault, after all. are you using a pre-paid mode type of internet? the one that you need to dial-up and use a card for paying and all? if you are, just like what gendou has mentioned, you're probably sharing a server with even MORE people than only Gendou.com users. if it isn't much of a hassle in your country, try doing DSL. or, try a different pre-paid card (different name/company). chances are, you will be getting one with lesser users (because it isn't well known yet). that way, you'll be sharing with lesser people, then you'll get to use Gendou.com properly.

Actually, I'm using Cable. And Singaporean users all have the same proxy IP. ALL of our ISPs are doing this, across the nation.


So there's no way to solve this problem? It's quite a hassle to us just because our ISP are such retards.

the problem would be solvable if there were a reliable way to get your internal ip address.
the singaporean proxy servers do forward the internal ip address in the X_HTTP_FORWARDED_FOR http header.
however, this header can easily be faked by the user, so it is not considered safe or valid.
furthermore, there is no easy way to find the number of connections by an internal ip address.
the gendou.com server keeps a list of current download connections using the internet ip address only.
until i can find a way to solve these two problems, singapore users will have to share.
i do sympathize with the situation and apologize for the inconvenience.
