Question about client connection.

When I try to download songs, I sometimes get this message. "Sorry, you may only have up to 10 client connections at a time. This attempt has been logged. Please save bandwidth for everyone else!" Could someone explain to me what it means?

haha! i got that one too, but only once. it's telling you to slow down and lend some space to others who are downloading too! try downloading each song at least every 1-2 minutes or so... don't rush! those links aren't going anywhere (unless they get deleted...). =D -michiyo-

But what if I'm not downloading many songs at a time? Actually I'm NOT downloading many songs @ a time, I just did one click on one of the song from Yami no Matsuei and it straight away gives me that error. (I only do a download @ a time..) I tried pausing my activity for a while and try downloading that song again but it still keeps on giving me this error message anyway. I wonder why? "Sorry, you may only have up to 10 client connections at a time. This attempt has been logged. Please save bandwidth for everyone else! " Can anyone help? :) Thanks! It's happening often for me.. :S |

In that case, your internet access is being delivered through a proxy server, so that many people all end up looking like one connection. Someone (or multiple someones) using the same ISP as you is downloading songs at the same time. The only real solutions to this are to either find a new ISP or find another time of day to download when less people will be on. |

i think this happened to a few other users, and it depends where you're from. the godfather can easily detect that. but if you're from singapore, it's happened a LOT of times. ^_^ good luck with it, though! -michiyo-
