Disgraces to past games

What would you say is the biggest disgrace to a previous game? I'm talking about sequels and remakes. For one thing, FFX-2 was a sequel, and it was a disgrace to FFX. FF4 Advanced was a remake, and it was a disgrace to FF4. Get it? Got it. Good. (Still I don't really consider FF4 advanced a disgrace. I just base this off of the reviews on Gamefaqs) Anyway, in the end, the most disgraceful thing I have witnessed up to this date was what Sony did to Conker's Bad Fur Day! That steams me up so much looking at all these edits! Yes, it's much worse than a Van Helsing costume for the mansion part. What's your pick?

Games that are made simply to milk a good original idea for what it is worth, usually tend to be crap. That's why I tend to be quite cautious about sequels (with the exception of Shadow of the Colossus, which was a truly beautiful game). I think that games should be made for the sake of art (ie. God of War, Chrono Trigger, Ico, Legend of Zelda, etc), instead of simply to make money (that should be a given). Probably the biggest let-downs for me were... Devil May Cry 2- (Were the makers of this game in a coma?) Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex- (I remember when Crash Bandicoot used to be fun.) Final Fantasy XI- (It may not be a direct sequel, but it still pissed me off.) ...there are a lot of other ones, but I can't really remember them right now. Actually that's probably a good thing.

FFTA and FFT. What happened to the suspense the swearing the betrayels?! FFTA is one of the stupidest sequels I have seen. (If it even is a sequel... -_-*)

FFX-2, disgrace to Final Fantasy in general. Should've named it Final Fanservice X-2. Devil May Cry 2, was very shallow in both fighting system and story. Every Spyro game after the first one.    |

Wild Arms 3 and 4- 4 more than 3 Shadow hearts 3- killed me love for the series. FFX2-obviously FFX-too many unskippable cutscenes and no control of where ya go until the end.
