Ever try and sing a theme song in Japanese?

Self-explaintory, but yeah, you guys ever try and sing the Japanese version like if your an American? I do and my friends always look at me funny when I sing a line that gets stuck in my head. I got the song "Tsuki no Uragawa" by Toru Ookawa from Fullmetal Alchemist down, but mainly the first part. I also know most of the TV size version of "Melissa" from FMA and "DAYS" of Eureka 7.

Yeah, I have. And I think I have a knack for doing so. xD Once I hear a song that I REALLY like, it gets stuck in my head and I never forget how it goes! <33 I'm Chinese, so I'm still asian, so maybe it's easier for me, cause some Japanese sound are alike to Chinese? O_o Some songs that I know well are Get Over (Hikaru no Go), Yume no Tsubasa (Tsubasa Chronicles) and Itooshi Hito no Tame Ni (Fushigi Yuugi), but I know a lot others too. XD |

Yeah, I'm part Filipino, but I don't know the language. Right now I'm trying to learn Japanese.

heh, Fortegirl, I have the same problem...I'm filipino too, but I can speak only a little, but understand alot. as for singing themesongs, I try...and fail miserably! eheheheh....*sigh* so hard to pronounce some of the words....

I'm filipino too and I speak tagalog so It's not hard for me to sing japanese cause the way you say the words is kind of similar in filipino. I don't have a good voice but I like to sing my favorite japanese song whenever I listen to it. I only sing it on my room or whenever I'm alone and no one is around. Some of the song I like to sing are from bleach and prince of tennis. |

i sing it all the time. mayb sometimes singing, but most of the time jsut humming i guess. but some anime songs are easy to sing and i do it sometimes when my friends are not around. not really loud htough. and if my frens were around, i will keep it even lower and softer. ahahhaha...but i never sang it with my othr frens though.as in they are also singing with me...i cant imagine! ahahhaha

I'm an Indonesian and to speak Japanese words for me it's easy enough... I like to sing every single of my favorite Japanese songs...but just only in my room alone...never try in the public anyway... Most of the songs are TWO MIX songs...^ ^ |

I'm a Malaysian, but I know the lyrics for Passion like the back of my hand!! People stare at me like I'm nuts, but I don't care, cuz I love that song baby!! Woo hoo!!

Yeah, that's why I'm trying to learn Japanese. Also, I want to be an animator or manga artist. I'm taking Japanese in my Junior and Senior year and also, next year I might be going to Japan. But yeah, I'm actually good at singing in Japanese. Sometime I stumble on the faster parts, but after a while I get it. I only sing in my room though. I guess that's what we all do it sounds like.

i've tried singing to rewrite from FMA that song is catchy, but then up stopping cause i dont want any one to hear me or sound like an idiot

ALWAYS!! I love to sing...i do it in Japanese since i was 12!! When the Tv program from NHK "Nodo Jiman" went to my country (Peru) They had a contest...singing contest...It was so much fun! I learned to speak japanese and i had a blast singing J-pop and anime songs!! Since then...i can't stop! It's my thing! |

I do it all the time, mostly when I'm alone in my room but it does happen when I'm out in the public too but hopefully no one notice me. My favorite song to sing is Glaring Dream from Gravitation    |

hahaa. yeahh. i do. =] when im alone. who doesnt heh.. =) but yupps, seems lyk a universal fact that we rarely sing in public. hahaa, if one does, ppl will be lyk "i know you're singing a japanese song, but what does the lyrics mean ehh O_o??!" hmm, i dont really have much of a problem pronouncing the words, but i hardly know alot of japanese words.. oh, and sometimes its the song tune. hahaa. if given a chance, would really really want to learn jap ehh. X))
