about the FAQ

hi i'm new here and hopeless when it comes to computers and internet stuff so please excuse my stupidity ^_^; it said in the FAQ: "Can I link to your mp3 files? No. There are no exceptions. Sorry. Feel free to download the mp3 and host it on your own webspace." does this mean i can post these songs on to my site after downloading them or am i getting it all wrong ^_^; cos i'm a bit confused please correct me if i'm wrong and sorry for asking a stupid question like this

Linking to a song example: http://gendou.com/amusic/dl/id=6698&code=904a39d049&user=username/Air_-_Aozora_(Piano_Version).mp3 If your link looks similar to that, it's hotlinking. If you download the file and save it to your computer, then upload that to your own website and linked to your copy, that would not be direct linking.  |
