Grave of the fireflies

Has anybody seen this anime movie? I bought it about week ago and I have to say it's one the best animes I've ever seen. GotF is Studio Ghiblis movie but it isn't as popular as Miyazakis works. I think the story was very touching and sad, but it also made me understand how the civils had to suffer during the second world war. The characters and whole movie were very realistic, I liked that little girl Setsuko very much. The music was good, too. I think this movie is a bit cruel for younger people but I still think this would be great movie to show at schools at history lessons. This is very lovely anime and I recommend to everyone who likes anime and/ or war/historic films.  |

It was so sad!! I LOVE that movie! Miyazaki is amazing. O_O It's a really good movie to learn about World War II. It was so realistic that it made me cry. ): I liked the little girl too...she was so cute! It was sad to see her eating rocks in the end... Such a good movie. |
