Oyasumi (TOKKO, Pani Poni Dash, Black Cat) Wannabe Fansubs (School Rumble 1&2) Static-Subs (Mai-Hime and Mai-Otome) Shinsen-subs - they do a whole lot of shows, sometimes I think they overextend themselves. Eclipse (Fate/Stay Night) Bakakozou (Full Metal Panic: the second raid) Ayu fansubs (for various shows I don't entirely recall) mahou - even though they have major lapses sometimes, their work is good AnimeUniverse (Shuffle, Magikano) RiceBox (Witch Hunter Robin, some Melody of Oblivion) r0r1p0p (Ichigo Mashimaro) (many more besides those) I used to enjoy Lunar's releases a lot, but they really got slow there for a while (near the beginning of Bleach I believe), and never really picked back up. That seems to have happened to a lot of the older groups whose releases got me started in the fansub scene, like the Triad, Anime Empire, Soldats...even AnimeOne and ANBU...they don't seem to be doing a whole lot lately, maybe a show or two here and there. Basically, I'm not too picky about fanbubs, as long as the script is literate, readable (color-wise and language-wise), and makes sense in relation to what's happening. Being that it's free, we can't complain too much, eh? Here's an interesting link I found. AniDB.net lets users rate the different groups' releases, here is how it stacks up. Note that not all the groups listed sub in english.  |

Definitely ANBU and Dattebayo,the 2 most popular fansub groups for the one and only most honourable,glorious and also most popular anime.....*drumroll*...NARUTO!!! |

| I only like the fansubs from Anime-Otakus,Dattebayo, and Eclipse because those fansub groups are subbing the anime I like. :P |

It's still and always will be Kaizoku Fansubs regardless of the fact that they hurt me so much! IT WASN'T WORSE THAN DIGIMON SAVES THE WORLD! AND I CREDITED THEM THREE TIMES AND THEY STILL CALLED THE PERSONALITY STOLEN! I SAID THEY CREATED GHETTO CHOPPER AND USOPP'S CHICK MAGNET NOSE! Besides, those are about the only good jokes to make about Usopp anyway. Any idiot would use that idea. Just because they used it in their greatest fandub ever, they assume that anyone else who uses it is a thief... yet I still remain devoted to them and they're talents. I'm currently working on my Skypiea fandub with more original ideas, like black Eneru and hippie Chopper who names a vegetable in every sentence (Still yet to show up) and sexual Nami along with testy Luffy who really hates Nami's guts. I'm with Xeira on liking only the groups which sub the anime I happen to watch. That would be: Anime-Otakus [PoT, now licensed] Shinsen [Also PoT, but only because A-O won't finish the last season] Soldats [Keroro, although there has been no word for over a year] Doremi [For picking up Keroro] Lunar? [Ouran] afk? [Suzumiya Haruhi] WPP [Rockman EXE, but only the first series, none of the sequels] All of the other fansubs I don't pay enough attention to who subs what, so long as it's a quality job all around. |

Dattebayo for Naruto, hands down. But for any other anime, it doesn't really matter what the fansub group is as long as it makes sense. If I can understand it, that's fine.  |
