| I'd really like to see a book series called "Elric of Melnibone" by Michael Moorock made into an anime series. It's a rated-R Fantasy series, and to describe it, um, it's close to Berserk with Angel Sanctuary romance in the Lodos War world, with the main character as a dark, melancholy, pale emperor who still gets lots of girls and cool weapons. The crazy stuff that happens in this book is something I can't tell you cause it would spoil the surprises. And it would never be allowed on TV or in Hollywood. Not that the book is all shock value or similar garbage, it's quite the opposite. The world of Elric delivers incredible fantasy in a realistic, mature, and yet beautifal way. I read the whole series like in a week, it's that good. Comparing Lord of the Rings to Elric would be like comparing DBZ to Berserk or Kenshin. They're both good but Elric just has more depth and maturity the mainstream can't handle. So, anime is the place for Elric. |

Once again... I think Harry Potter series should!! And the Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, and The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman! It's such a good series!! |

| Is that the same Contact that was a movie like ten years ago? I didn't know that was a book, sounds good. That reminds me the oriiginal War of the Worlds radio play would also make a sweet anime movie or short series. |

The Red Badge of Courage ( I would love to see an American civil war anime, it would probably be a first and attract a whole new group of people to the art form ) I also wouldn't mind seeing a NEW anime-adaption of Robert A. Heinleins Starship Troopers, possibly an OVA.
Oh, how I wish I lived in Mr. Rogers neighborhood.

Harry Potter would be an ok anime I think but the Eragon seris would rock. So would Magic:the gathering books.

| Starship Troopers is a good book unlike the movie, and that would make a good anime, if it's nothing like that travesty of a movie. |

@Del Wasn't 'Twelve Kingdoms' already been made into anime? Anyway, I think Terry Pratchett's Discworld series might be a very good comedy anime

Kino's Journey, it's an anime based out of a japanese novel, really good, same with Gensomaden Saiyuki. Anyway, I'm not interested in books much 8/ I can't think of anything else...  |
