I have a mic that I use(for MSN). It works on my new computer but it will not work on my old one. Does it have to do with the requirments or what? If it does please say which requirments.    |

Nooooo, didn't think of that.*joking*^_^ It's plugged in and the vloume is up and I went through the audio tuning wizard on MSN. I'm just not getting any reaction from it during the test. |

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is. It picks it up in the control panel/audio section. |

You're positive you're plugging it in to the right jack? If so, make sure your mic isn't muted (even if the volume is all the way up). In the voume controls, File->Advanced, go to the advanced controls for the mic and turn the booster on. After that, try to record something in Sound Recorder. If it doesn't work, then something must be wrong. |

I had the same problem too, before. Your mic probably doesn't support your new computer. |
