Hey guys, long time no see! I recently heard that Smash Brothers Brawl was announced for the Wii. Here's the best part: new playable characters were announced. In order: 1. Pit (Kid Icarus) 2. Solid Snake (Metal Gear Solid) 3. Zero Suit Samus (Metroid Fusion) 4. Meta-Knight (Kirby) What do you guys think of the new guys? Is it right to have Snake included? Sound off, my friends! |

is that all? ........maybe they need better charecters..... ...maybe like ridley (metroid series) wario ....thats all i got.... .....snake isnt that great anyways ,he appeared in other consoles and should be exempt as a character  |

Is this the new Super smash bros game? lol solid snake from MGS does sounds a bit off...perhaps they have a "chibi" version of him? (I'd really like to see that) anyways this game sounds like good stuff. :D  |

I wonder how different the game play will be with the controller, I'm sure it will be very cool but very differnt from the cube and 64.
It's all fun and games till someone gets sacrificed to satan.

well, I think that they will add on to the Pokemon Gig. Should sound pretty neat. Any more info about the gameplay, maybe more options in the menu screen, possibly create-a-warrior(that would be nice), and maybe a storyline type thing? Dan-Giel(strongest character ever!) will make his debut appearance in the Gaming World! lol, j/k. They should make an anime type game like this, but instead using Mario, Wario, Luigi, Donkey Kong...etc...they should use Anime Characters. In the Super Smash Bro's Melee, Mewtwo did like a Dark Kai Wave attack of some sort..and it follows you, so that was pretty cool to me. ß)

WOW this game is going to be awesome! i just saw the trailor on gamespot.com. it concludes with the debatable hero, Solid Snake. i am sure he will use the box atleast to block some attacks but i dont know. all the new characters are nice but i would agree a couple more would be even better since they have had a lot of time between the last installment and there are more nintendo characters to draw on...like sonic...even though i dont know how he would be welcomed... even those freaking nintendogs are in it!

I heard Banjo Kazui is in the game as well.  Laharl, the Overlord of all. I rule Netherworld Restaurant as well.

I'm happy to see so many replies! THIS JUST IN!!!!!!!!!!! NOBUO UEMATSU IS COMPOSING MUSIC FOR THE GAME!!!! That's right, the guy who did music for Final Fantasy titles is scroing Super Smash Bros. Brawl!!!!! How cool is that? Here's my wishlist BTW: Kratos (God of War) lol, that's never gonna happen. Shinobi/Joe Hayabusa (Shinobi/Strider) He's a ninja, 'nuff said. Naruto (Naruto) Once again, he's a ninja, 'nuff said. K.K. Slider (Animal Crossing) He's a singing dog with a guitar! Sephiroth (FF7) It could happen... Leon (Resident Evil 4) He's cool. Viewtiful Joe (Viewtiful Joe) Obviously. Sonic (Sonic) It would be kinda nice... The Prince (Prince of Persia) He's kinda kewl! THE PRINCE (Katamari Damacy) He WOULD BE PERFECT FOR THIS! |

actually Sonic would be a really nice character to go with the game. Do you have a cover of this game, and when will it release. Im diing to check it out. Also-will it also release on Gamecube? They should put... Ed(Fullmetal Alchemist, he can perform alchemy and what not!) maybe some 'Dragonball'/Z characters?(or maybe not..idk, my friend suggested that) p.s. about the pokemon thing, they should make the pokemon evolve when there like on an adrenaline-rush, and can evolve! I like it when the croud cheers for the character that's whooping a5$! I like it when you can practice or something, and you can choose your items that are dropped onto the field, I choose like a million pokeballs, and just go crazy with them, then there's like the whole pokemon kingdom on the screen, lol!

This game's coming out in early 2007 only on the Wii. Sorry Gamecube guys. Hey but for people who buy it, it's played just like the Gamecube version. You just turn the Wii-mote sideways and play like normal. The Wii's gonna be around 200 or 250 dollars, which is the cheapest and for this game alone, I'll start saving up! Sonic would be cool, huh? Maybe Knuckles too? Edward would be awesome, the only problem is that he's too obscure at the moment with regular gamers(not counting anime fans). Maybe though, who knows? That pokemon idea is GREAT. In the original, they were nice, but they left in like 20 seconds, hopefully they'll be more invloved. What new items would be cool? |

humm items..lets see... -a barrier that traps anyone inside, and shocks them? -a mirror type item to reflect any itack(even with items) -an orb of some sort that shoot out energy blasts -magical hats(Yi-Gi-Oh)hit the wrong one, it explodes -maybe an item that makes you float in the air or fly even well I just thought of these, gotta get back to dinner, lol!

well, i am pretty sure that there will be a new battle-system feature where there will be "super powers/moves." If you pay attention to the preview video on gamespot.com, it zeros in on the faces of some of the characters like they were hulking out or something, becuase their eyes start to glow and dialate and thier bodies tremor with virosity. So i am sure there will be like a power bar like in other traditional fighters that will allow special moves. Also, i know they will incorporate the new franchises, like the nintendogs, which get block action on the screen, as well as perhaps, but only my personal speculation, button-sequence activated moves. I think this smash bros will begin to lean more towards the more popular and standard fighting game while still remaining "simple and clean." :) I really wonder how Solid Snake will work in the game! He NEVER jumps in the MGS games so i am curious how they will tackle that, also, how would his "double-jump" work too? i imagine a sort of "imaginary step boost up." Someone mentioned flying, i think there will be such an item since some of the characters appeared to be hovering way too much in the video, especially Kid Icarus(Pit)

I can see it now mario and link duking it out with this box watching them. Snake pops out pulls a knife and slits mario's throat. link runs away like a scared little girl at the blood spewing from mario. If sankes in it you know this will not be e+10 they might bend over backwards to get it T if hes in it ><.  |
