Q: Chinese characters on comp?

How do you get Chinese characters to show up on a computer (like for a song or file)? I want them to show up on my comp and maybe even be able to show up on my iPod--which is in English. (Can you get characters to show up on an iPod w/o changing the language?)

try going into your control panel and into the regional and language options. click on the languages tab and check the box for install files for east asian languages or something like that. i think that should work. not entirely too sure. anyone else can correct me if i'm wrong.

as for making characters show up on your ipod, back when i had my ipod mini i was able to see japanese characters on it and i didn't even do anything for it, so you probably don't have to do anything.

The issue in the case of ipods is that you have to make sure that iTunes or whatever transfer program you use can recognize the characters, if it can, then when it sends the file it should appear fine. Also, if the program doesn't, then copy the name with it's characters in windows and then edit the artist/songname/whatever by pasting. That should work.
