to gendou-sama I know put the animated signature is good, but i just think that your (gendou-sama) signature is too violent, and its not good to show in public forum, i know that is yours but think about it please... regrads

what is so violent about stick figures fighting anyway? they're just stick figures....others might say its violent but I really don't get it... if someone says Gendou-sama's sig is too violent then what do they think of the world around them?  |

Actually I think his sig is too violent. I also thing the world is too violent and considering that anger, violence to another and hate are three thngs I abhor I should tell Gendou that his sig is too violent. There is much I find offensive in the world however if I took offense at every one as much as I may dislike them I would have to bury myself somewhere and never look outside.  |

Erk... yeah, what I see were 000000 & FFFFFF... (P/S lady_rin , you can block the image if you're using Firefox. But for your real life, I don't know what can help you 'filter' the 3 elements. =.=)

It's Gendou's site, he should be able to use any picture he wants on his own site. As a visitor to his site you can do one of two things:
Done and done. |

EDIT: you can hover over the offensive image to hide it from your sensitive eyes. warning: animated violence (kinda like every anime ever made).

| you know my friend made the gif animation frame by frame in mspaint. he slaved hours on it to bring stick figure fighting to the world. now his art has been censored by the whines and cries of little children, hwo arent even old enough to legally have registered for this website to bein with. good job, whiners. |

*is offended by everyone talking about this* Is Gendou's signature violent? Yes. Are people offended by it? Yes, some. Does that mean that WE SHOULD ALL BE KILLING EACH OTHER OVER THIS!? No! I'm glad that someone cares about having too much violence and making a stand for it, because there is most certainly too much of it. It still doesn't mean that because there's too much of it that we should all just live with it. Yes, it's two stick people fighting each other, yes violence is everywhere, but I don't see why people are getting mad at someone who simply doesn't like it! *stands with still_cute* I'm not saying Gendou should remove his signature because it's too violent, but that doesn't mean I approve of violence.  |

I still don't see why Gendou's sig is 'too violent' to you guys. I didn't watch the anime Naruto, but I managed to take a peek on a few scenes. Apparently, what Gendou's sig is showing is similiar to most of the fighting scenes in Naruto. Then, Why NONE of you "Anti Violent Gendou Sig Supporters" (AVGSS) say that is violent even if you guys did watch it, huh ? WHy not YOU guys go rally a campaign against it for being a violent anime, huh ??? Doh.

| This zeal in this discussion is nearly palpable. The sides are divided so clearly this would have to be the only circumstance in which you actually must take a side. Of course there are extenuating circumstances that will inevitably produce shades of gray on this matter. The truth is that people will believe what they, how they want, when they want. When people make up their mind, and I mean make up their mind not even the fear of god can change them. This thread is a prime example, the two warring sides, vying to recruit those who have yet to choose to their side. Each side hoping that when they attain the critical mass necessary to control the discussion. I could be subjective and say that “Violence is bad, go to hell,†but I’m trying my best to objective and not pass judgment. I may sound hypocritical when I say that, but believe me I’m not the one to take sides. In my mind I see the point these sides are saying, and can accept both answers as logical and correct to a degree. Gendou’s sig is violent, but excessively violent, no. The violence in his sig is nothing compared to even “children’s†programming. If I were the MPAA, ESRB, or any other ratings board I would say that the content depicted in-there-for is and can be taken as violent. Also I find nothing in it with the exception of the blood towards the end, which could be considered overly violent. It is also illustrated that very extensively that the characters depicted in this animation are stick figures and bare little resemblance to a true human figure. The vast majority of children routinely draw even more violent pictures of stick figures. I assume, and will probably regret this, that the majority of those present and/or reading this thread are mature enough to realize that the violence depicted in this signature is of a comic and entertaining nature. There are those who are younger on this site, such as the age of 13 and younger, to whom I ask, where are your parents. The reaction to the original post were, if anything, hostile if not rude. It has also come to my attention that many of you feel very strongly towards you’re respective allegiances. I have also observed the fact that those of you who ( you know who you are) feel “strongly†for the keeping of the signature, are taking this to the breaking point. This thread is simply an outlet for the stress that has been plaguing the vast majority of us in the recent past. This thread is the emotional delineation of those in this forum. A simple glance over the various responses to this topic and one can begin to understand the root causes of the various tenors of each one of your minds. There are the usual sheltered types, to the middle-of-the-road ones, to the zealots. In fact this thread could be used to summate the whole of society, and their views on every topic. So you see, even as Gendou so pointed out himself, this site has the population of a small country, and we carry with us the same divisions, and proclivity to form those divisions. This discussion leaves me with peremptorily attitude, I feel as though I must choose sides in order to survive. I sincerely do not believe in the statements provided by either side. I hope that in time we can destroy the prejudice and leave our social perversity behind us and hope, that with time arguments will not need to be smeared with the profane and we can carry out such a discussion without offending others. Maybe this was just the rant of a naive child that has no bearing on what you decide, but I do hope that you will take at least a fraction of this post to your heart and remember it the next time something like this happens. |

What other thing can we say besides: Violence isn't bad, go to hell. Violence is the one thing people learn throughout their whole lives. Look at the programs on television, listen to the songs on the radio, geez just look out the window. The world is full of violence. Question 1: When was the last time somebody helped you just because they felt like it? Answer 1: Seventeen years ago Question 2: When was the last time you read about somebody being kidnapped, or robbed or raped or murdered? Answer 2: Five minutes ago. People can't get offended by a simple animation of two stick figures, especially not somebody that wathces anime. I'm not saying that violence is bad. I'm trying to say that it is inevitable. You asked where the parents where, here's the answer: they're to F5ck3ng busy in their own sh3t to actually pay atention to their children. (Others are just to ignorant to understand what's going on) The problem isn't actually violence, the problem is the consecuence that it generates.
