I'm not sure if this is supposed to be in the help topic, because it's not entirely help, and I'm not sure if this is to be in programming, so I'll post it here ^_^ Why is it that sometimes I can do transparency on an image, but other times I can't? I've looked everything over and as far as I can tell I do it exactly the same each time, yet it only works some of the time T.T How do you change the overall color of an image? I know that psoplayer uses GIMP to make the blue avatars, and I can't seem to figure out how to do that... Is there a way to make it so that each time you open a new window, it won't take up a new space in your taskbar? T.T Thanks for the help if you post ^_^  |

Here's the answers to your three questions: 1. If you can't do transparancy in an image, that means there is no data for transparancy in that layer of the image yet. In the image with the layer selected click Layer > Transparancy > Add Alpha Channel. Or, you can get a "green screen" effect by choosing "Color to Alpha". Just choose what color is the background and it all goes away. 2. The effect I use to colorize my image is the colorize tool (Layer > Colors > Colorize). Just FYI: My 'official' Gendou ava color is Hue 177, Saturation 100, Lightness adjusted as needed. Then I play around with brightness and contrast to give it the right look and that's it. 3. Not that I know of. That's part of why I keep my taskbar at double the default thickness, so it holds two rows of windows. |

GIMP Animation Plugin It adds a few features to let you work on an animation's frames collectivly and export an animation to a video file. I really haven't used its features much but I have it anyway. |
