Hi everybody!! As a great fan of Slayers, Rina Inverse and MEgumi Hayashibara I am. I'm reallly happy to know about the new season of slayers wich premier was the last 4th of July (Pame's Birthday ^^) in Japan. I'm happy to see Megumi is still seiyu of Rina and she's singing the openings and the endings. Even so I don't knoe about the rest of the cast. So if there is any Slayers, megumi, Xeros, Ameria or whatever fan out there and have some info, Please i want to know *.* I want to know if Masami Okui is there. I haven't seen any episodes but I'm downloading the first one right noww ^^ The best season of this anime for me was the last one Slayers try, let's see if this one can beat it ^^   |

OMG! DN!! You are also a slayers fan!! Me too!!! I was so surprised when my friend told me they were coming out with season. Who would have thought that after almost (or have it been more than) a decade! More info on Slayers Revolution at ANN! At least the main cast (the 4 of them) are the same people!! So far I've watech till Episode 3 and it's hilarious! Gourry the Jellyfish brained!  |

*raises hands* Yeshu~! Another slayers fan~! *sheepishly* well, I got into anime-watching kinda late into my life, so I missed out on the first 3 seasons. But, I did watch a movie/OVA (i forget the name) which had Rina Inverse and Naga in it, but none of the other characters. Still, based on that alone, I almost immediately fell in love with the series, which goes to prove how addictive it was. Well, that and my fascination with D&D styled pen&paper/tabletop/pc games ever since like forever XD That aside, this is my first introduction to the other characters.. and they all seem interesting in their own right, for now, I'm particularly attached to Ameria XD Her 'justice~!' shouts are LOL funny XD And Rina's (Megumi's) enthusiasm is like overflowing from her voice alone. It makes me giddy with excitement XD And, correct me if i'm wrong, we'll be getting another two new characters? The best thing is, after all these years, they're sticking to the same formula. Even with the new characters, I can see they were modified from D&D genre (e.g., black mage, white mage, chemist?) XD

omg!! Engel and Bkno!! Slayers fans, how cool ^^ *hugs Both* @Sehnhu: go you can do it!! For me third season has been the best so far ^^ maybe becuase Firia was so cool, specially when she get mad XD @Bkno: well.. The OVAs and almos all the movies but one chronologically go before the serie when Rina is younger. And she's always with _Naga. is so funny even when Nagas Voice is so anoying XD @Engel: thank you!! *hugs* nice cast ^^. I haven't watch any episode. I still don't know if watch them while theya re being relased or wait untill is complete =P I also want to see the whole thing again >_< |

I hope they make a new movie, too. I have all 5 of them in a nice box set. I liked most of the songs Megumi did for that, too. :3

Wow DA!!! You've got a box set?! I only managed to get my hands on Season 2 and 3 (can't find season 1... guess I was looking for it too many years after it's release...but I'll get my way!!! muhahahaha! *does airritating Naga laughter*) and some OVA. Think I lost one of them coz I distintively remembered that I've got this particular elongated box which I couldn't find any where at home... so ya... LOST! *sob* @bkno9:: Hmm... I'm not sure about the 2 new chara. I only know of one, which is the "little creature" that can cast "Dragon Slave"!! (opps... hope I haven't created a spoiler! >_<). The slyish looking guy with a bob hair and small eyes is not a new chara... he has appeared in both season 2 and 3~ So... the only new chara I know of is..... ..... ...... "The Inspector!" Hahahaha!!!! Watch them while they are being release DN!! Then watch them again when they are complete!!!! |

Yeah, it's a pretty nice one, too. I've watched both Japanese and dubbed versions. The dub was fun. I loved Cynthia Martinez who did Lina's dubbed voice (for the movies). The bonus stuff was kinda funny too, especially the live commentary which was really, really cute. I miss Naga, haha. She was so funny, boing~ing all over the place. XD

you guys are so lucky to get all the original stuff with extra thingies >_< I have to download it all :S but I have it all!!! all the movies ovas and the 3 seasons.. and now downloading the 4th season. I have all the OST too XD Megumi rules!!! yaaay!!! I'm so happy What a surprise to see DA bein Slayes fan too XD and engel.. I was surrounded by slyers fans and i didn't know it XD *hugs all* |

Yeah, though I haven't seen a season through entirely yet. I'll see like a few episdoes, then suddenly stop or something. Now this was years ago, so I'm not sure what's what anymore, though I can read info online and get caught up pretty quick, and I already know what Revolutions is about anyways, so no confusion here. :3

Hahah~~ Now you know how fortunate you are DN... surrounded by people you know but didn't know they have the same likes as you~ One thing good about Slayers is that their seasons somewhat independent. Only some parts of the stroyline from the previous season is brought to the new season (for Slayers Revolutions, I guess is the fact that sword of light is no longer with Gourry). I still dunno what happened to the Red Priest from Season 1. That was the only Slayers I remember being broadcasted on TV and I din't get to finish it! T.T And one other thing I don't know.... Can someone update me on how Naga entered into the Slayers? She only appears in OVAMovie (I dunno which is which) but I don't know how they met or how she came into the picture in the first place. Is kinda sad that Naga doesn't make appearance in Series... I can just imagine how well she'll irritate the 3 others who don't appear in the OVA/Movies. |

Wiki explains it pretty well. She also appeared in all five Slayers Movies. It seems she's appeared in everything but the anime (except the Manga, Special, OVA, Movies).

WOW!! Thanks DA!! Now I finally know who Naga is (yes... i know her appearance but nothing about her). But totally didn't expect her to be a princess.... though come to think of it, there's some signs here and there (the self-confidence??) And I din't know there were so many movies either... So is 5 movies and 2 OVA... *runs home to check which are the ones I have* |

Acctually, the true identity of naga is told (or they give you a hint) in one episode of Slayers try =3 Rila Start laughing like Naga and the Ameria say to Rina "please don't luagh like that, bring bacl memeries" or something like that (sorry for my horrible english >_<) But I'm still thinking if this new season will be able to be better thatn the one before. +I thing Firia was one of the best characters in Slayers (besides Rina) XD In this season they should show Rina's sister hahahaha |

yup, wiki is pretty detailed.. I was afraid I couldn't follow since I missed out on the earlier seasons/movies (other than that one OVA), so i tried reading up on the background of each character. Learning about Naga and Ameria really surprised me XD It's not really mentioned how Naga (is that really her real name??) and Rina met, just that I think Naga tried to constantly challenge Rina (and lost every single time XD) and finally just tagged along with her a bit, to look for any weaknesses I suppose. I haven't read one part yet, how did Gourry lose his sword of light? The really really huge explosions never fails to amaze me, as well as how everyone seems to make it out alive XD When Pokota blasted that Dragon Slave and I saw the end result, I literally went "What the f***~!??" complete with a crazy little "bwahahahah" XD

I haven't watch any of the new season. I think I'm gonna wait untill the whole thing is complete. I was thinking in watch the whole anime all over. ^^ About Naga, In one of the OVAs they show how they met. was basically Naga heard about Rina being the best magician (wizard or whatever the name in english is) and she went to challenge her and It was all very funny XD The problem is that cronology is a whole mess XD maybe this can help ^^  You have to start watching slayers Excelent, then the other ovas and then the movies and finally the series @.@ PS: does any of you know where can I get the novels of slayers?? *.* |

@DN:: Yesh! Now that you mentioned it... I remember Lina saying "please don't laugh like that, bring back memories"!! Hahaha!!! I too can't remeber what happened to Gourry's sword... anyone can give the details? Watched Season 3 like donkey years ago~~Maybe I should rewatch when i get the time... and I wanna watch season 1!!!!! Thanks for the map DN... but I still find it very confusing... hahaha!!! But 1 question, how does Slayers get to link to Lost Universe? Though I know is probably the same artist (not so sure about the Seiyuu) and that the personality of the characters are in reverse order (with the Guy having a Lina Syndrome and the Girl, well, not as jelly-fish brained as Gourry but you get the point~ hee) |

well, I really don't know cause I've never watched lost universe XD The light sword?? oh, that returned to the original owner ^^' It measn that go to the demosn world or whatever... sometime I get confused by all the names @.@ and... why are you confused? don't you understand the "map"? |

Hahaha~ I'm confused cause I'm wondering why "Lost Universe" (another anime) is in a map full of "slayers" The sword of light was returned to the original owner?? then why is Lina and Gourry on a trip to search for it?? |

FYI guys, Below is the correct slayers relations map that I have drafted out all in one direction. DN>> The map that you have posted are all wrongly placed. (I dunno if that map is done by you or found from another website, all I can say is that it is super messy and there is too many arrows indicate 'prequel' and 'sequel' pointed to all over the boxes which will make others confused.. ^^) As for the Sword of Light, it was lost after the final battle in 'Try' series. That's why in 'Revolution', Lina and Gourry went together to serch for it. Also, there is no 'Lost Universe' in the 'Slayers' series. Although the song in 'Lost Universe' is sung by Megumi.
