I want to try something a little more realistic this time. Also, the part "XX" in the title is there for a reason which I'll explain later. I'll try and keep this short for now. This is an RP set in the Feudal period of Japan, more specifically the warring states period. First off, you've got a limited number of choices since this isn't a fantasy kind of demons and magic RP. The story here is a clan in the North has gained a considerable amount of power and crushed the other most powerful clan in the area. With this victory the new clan begins moving south led by a power hungry General looking to gain total control. Many villages are being destroyed and captured, because of the other clans at war little resistance is seen. A few rules to get down first. 1. This is meant to be realistic which means if your hit you can't just move on like nothing happened or recover within the hour. 2. You can be one of these kinds of people, Ronin[This is the most story specific kind], Samurai[Has to serve a lord and can't wander around doing what they want, you can be with the 'evil' clan from the north or a different one.], General of a small clan[I'm limiting the number of people allowed to do this], Merchant[You'll see the point of this a little later], Ninja. I'll add more later because I think there are a few I missed. 3. You CANNOT kill a bunch of guys at once or fight them all. This is realistic, so you have to think of the fighting as within human limits. I don't want to see any of this "So and so kills 4 guys in a matter of seconds" or "So and so defeats 6 guys with ease", you want to test and see how many guys you can fight, then the best way to do that would be to get a bunch of your friends and try and fend them off on your own. Show me that and I'll change my mind. lolXD 4. This is realism, no demons, no magic, no moving at lightspeed, none of that stuff. So give your profiles here. Please note that depending on who joins this RP I may be regulating the speed at which the story moves or people post, because some people have trouble keeping up after missing 3 pages of RP. Nice idea Jon, i'll post my profile. Name: Sagara Kazuya Age: 24 Gender: Male Weapon: Katana, Long Katana[Uses one at a time but can use both] Type: Ronin Bio: A lone ronin who left his life as a samurai because he didn't agree with his former lord's order to burn down a village.He hastely slain his former lord in a duel without mercy. He headed to his house to gather his items of value and wandered the land in search of someone with similar goals. He heard about another ronin and former samurai called Kenji and is currently searching for him. Kazuya has mastered three devastating styles and made a even more devastating hybrid style of the three.

@Bloodymoon- Maybe I read your mind and stole the concept then made this.O.o lol, anyway, your not at home? You gone somewhere or do you mean just out to like school. [I don't even know why I want to know this, I must be really tired.=.=] Just got a few touch-ups to make tomorrow, but it depends on the number of people that sign if I'll start this or not. I'd like to have more becuase the Dark Horizon RP ran dry of members.>.> |

EDIT: Bio: a very young ninja.. he was trained to be a great ninja by his grandfather.. he never leave his village till he was 18.. so,, he is still fresh about the "outer world".. he is a quiet person.. not much talking if not necessary.. but there is no doubt in his heart that he want to be the best ninja.. now,, he is on a journey to gain experiences..

Hakugane was no exaption. Given command of the Hanoi Spear and Blade levies from Hanoi for his ties to royalty in Heian (Kyoto) he was the prime candidate for a general's postiosn. Provided basic weapons and armor for the ill trained Hanoi infantry, all Hakugane hopes is to repel the invaders of the north, and return to His beloved home and wife in Hanoi. However, as history has told, his army has the potential of going far beyond the islands of Japan. (well if I do get a general's position here's the army contents...) Hanoi Levy: Commanded by Captain Hakugane of Hanoi General's bodyguard: General Hakugane and his Imperial katana weilding samurai, well trained armed and armored. 40 men 1st-3th spear Cohort: spear armed infantryman, little training. 60 men each Total of 180 men 1st-2nd Blade Cohort: Katana armed infantry, basic training, 40 men each Total of 80 men 1st armed Sergeants: imperial spearmen who oversaw training for the Hanoi levy, Basic Training and relativly well armed and armored. 40 men   |

Special move: Katou Kiseki Gekkou ( mighty sword miracle moonlight ) Bio : A Genius in sword fighting has fast speed and reflexes..although he lacks spirit and confidence..he hates killing but has to kill for the justice of his clan..and also He believes that friends are most important than missions. The Village of Tenchura is a normal fishing village just north of Hanoi..it is known for the Home of the Toshiki Clan..which practices the Moon Chains SwordStyle..The war has destroyed the Village of Tenchura..it has been 5 years since then and the sole survivor of the Toshiki Clan plans to have his revenge on the opposing clan..but first he must join a powerful clan and rise to the rankings of the army.  |

@Rei- Well you don't have too. You can be somthing like a Ronin/Ninja, I just split the two because the general image of a ronin is a guy with a sword where as Ninja's use smaller stealth weapons. I'll be back a little later to answer remaining questions and fill you guys in more. I have a few post-school things to do. |

Formerly a Samurai of one of the fallen clans he now desires to live a peaceful life, vowing to not longer actively be a warrior once he has fulfilled his desires. Although well versed in killing and the ways of the sword, he now opts to simply disarm his opponents and let them live in disgrace, killing them as a final resort. Well that was fun writing up ^^  |

@ Jonathon: I think every ninja has their own master.. i leave it to you to decide who is the master that i will serve... it meant to be realistic,, right?? so i leave it to you then... ^^

@Rei- You can if you want. It doesn't matter to me who your master is. You could make one up or just travel on your own.^^ Alright, about the "XX" in the title. I got the name Tale of the -- Ronin from an old Japanese tale, Tale of the 47 Ronin. Now anyone who's read that story should be aware that I'm not following a similar story, this is a new one. When I find out how many people are Ronin's[Or how many people in general are with the main bulk of the cast] I'll put in a number. Anyway, I'll give my profile. Try not to copy anyone's bio or things like that, keep it original. Name: Kenji Age: 22 Gender: Male Weapon: Long Katana[Carries 2 on left hip, mainly uses 1 at a time due to the length of the swords] Type: Ronin Bio: A young man who left his hometown and life as a samurai many years ago only a few months before his town being destroyed. He fled to the south to get away from the constant threat of soldiers and attacks but plans to stand his ground if the major clan should move into central Japan. Takes odd jobs doing many things to make a living. |

T-T Name: Ryoko Asai Age: 16 Gender: Female Weapon: Guns Type: Merchant Bio: Came from an unknown land called "Paradise Kiss" (got that name from a manga) after she had been chosen to live the town from over-population. Decided to help people out by selling items and armor to any one needed. Protects herself with guns, her number one skill. YAY!! I can be the first girl!! ^.^ And the first merchant!! And the first to use guns!!!!! I'm special. LOL. |

@Ryoko- You've got to use a different weapon, guns weren't introduced to Japan until late Feudal period and they were one shot low accuracy rifles.^^ Second, I've never RP'ed with you so I actually didn't know. If you do have trouble keeping up then just PM me and I'll set something up. This goes for anyone who's not online to RP very much or generally misses a few pages of RP. Just PM and I'll see what I can do with that. I'll write a summery for you if you get too far behind or so on. |

@darksamurai777: I don't exactly have trouble with keeping up but I have a slow average 56 kbps connection and I don't always have time to go online. >.< Thanks, I would PM if I do need a summary!! ^.^ Aww...that sucks. Can I use martial arts? And oh, can you explain what the merchants exactly do? |

@Ryoko- Basically you can travel with one of the members, on your own or whatever and sell things, your character is still allowed to fight and stuff though. Anyway, the merchant will play a better role later on. |
