http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=Gravitation&match=0 "No Style" is performed by Yohei Izumi, not Kotani Kinya. :D (I assume this thread is also for incorrect information and not just typos...?)

http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=Air+TV&match=2 Title "Futahoshi" should be "Sousei" http://www.gun-land.net/ost_airtv.html That's the only online source I can find that has the original track listing. It's Track 13 on the first disk.

Re: Report Database Mistake/Typo

http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=kuwashima&match=0 La, La Maladie Du Sommeil (RahXephon) is performed by Kuwashima Houko, not Noriko. (It's a common mistake made even by the official people sometimes since the kanji is usually pronounced that way. One of many sources: http://www.aoni.co.jp/talent/0460903.html --- http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=Gunparade+Orchestra&match=2 futari ga wasurenai (Gunparade Orchestra) is performed by Misato Aki rather than Migou. (kanji mispronouned?) --- http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=Katakiri+Rekka&match=3 This may be a bit picky, but the title "why, or why not" (higurashi no naku koro ni) does not have a question mark at the end and should have a comma after the first why. ("Why or Why Not?" in database.) This is pathetic, I know. --- EDIT: The section below is nonsense. Sorry. Please skip. http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=air+tv&match=2 It was pointed out that sousei (AIR) should be sousei, but this is arguable. The kanji used can be read as sousei, but it is quite normal to read it as futaboshi especially when it is a standalone title. I am not sure though. Check the source below, it is not official, but it is quite reliable from experience. a source: http://catsspat.dyndns.org:2080/anime/Air/KSLA-0004/index.html EDIT: It appears not to be so reliable. Sorry. The above is nonsense. --- By the way, someone mentioned that so gorgeous (Fruits Basket) is wrong, but I have it 3:06 in my playlist, which is the same length. I haven't downloaded the song to listen to it yet, and it could be that I mistyped my filenames as well... I haven't got my CD with me so I can't check it. |
Re: Report Database Mistake/Typo
|
Sperion is correct in stating that Sousei 'could' be read as Futaboshi. However, seeing as how the official kanji on the CD reads as Sousei, I would label it as so. Reading it as Futaboshi would be merely a personal choice rather than a direct translation.

i have both as searchable, so its not a problem. Futaboshi (or Futahoshi) are not "alternate readings", they are INCORRECT readings. Just as incorrect as reading "Futari" as "Ninin" -- ouch!!!! |
Re: Report Database Mistake/Typo

Well... Sorry. I was wrong. The official site http://key.visualarts.gr.jp/q_a_air.htm agrees with sousei. I need to brush up my Japanese quite a lot... Some more info: --- http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=Shizukana+Yoruni&match=0 The piano version is actually called hoshi e no inori, and it's from Gundam SEED OST 1 by Sahashi Toshihiko. and it appears that there is already a hoshi e no inori. http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=Toshihiko+Sahashi&match=3 --- http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=Nami+Tamaki&match=3 Well... great songs, but a lot of these are not actually related to g-seed/destiny, namely Prayer (its own single), Promised Land (C/W in Reason single), -Fly Away- (Make Progress album), Shining Star (its own single), Eternal Voice (Greeting album), Distance (大胆ã«ã„ãã¾ã—ょㆠ↑Heart&Soul↑single), Fortune (PS2 Game: Radiator Stories theme song (i hope the name is right)), Heroine (its own single), Final Memory (Believe Reproduction ~GUNDAM SEED EDITION~ single), Daitan ni Ikimashou - Heart & Soul (its own single). http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=Nami+Tamaki&match=3&page=1 Destiny (Greeting album). I guess these can't be called "request" violations if they're in the database... I have to say though, a lot of these are great songs. --- http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=Alleya&match=3 Love Theme from Kita-he is spelt wrongly. Also the artist is ALLEY:A . This is a bit picky, I know, but otherwise it looks like Alleya as a single word. --- http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=T.M.Revolution&match=3 Boarding has nothing to do with G-SEED. It's a great song though. --- http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=Rie+Tanaka&match=3 Shizukana Yoruni C.E.73 (Karaoke) is from Gundam SEED DESTINY. Shizukana Yoruni C.E.73 does not have Remix in the title. --- http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=Toshihiko+Sahashi&match=3 Kimi wa Boku ni Niteiru (Piano) is actually called kimi to boku, todokanu omoi It's from Gundam SEED DESTINY OST3 --- http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=Two-Mix&match=3 Some not related to Gundam Wing: Naked Dance, Love Revolution, Rhythm Generation. Some are C/Ws in Gundam Wing related singles: Second Impression, Just Communication - Type II, Endless Love, Burning. Excellent songs, these are, by the way. Also a type at the bottom of the list where Rhythm Emotion Techno is. Gundam WIng is weirdly capitalised. I haven't downloaded the song, but judging from the length 4:59, it should be RHYTHM EMOTION (RAVEMAN Back 2 Rave Mix). --- http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=Macross+7&match=2 ...dakedo Baby!! (this is the correct punctuation) (Macross 7) is officially credited to Chie Kajiura instead of Fire Bomber (although she does some of Mylene's singing) --- http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=Mahoromatic+2&match=2 This may not be a mistake, but Mahoromatic 2 is called Mahoromatic ~motto utsukushii mono~, but it is commonly referred to as Season 2. --- http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=Kumo+no+Mukou+Yakusoku+no+Basho+%28Beyond+the+Clouds%29&match=2 kimi no koe (kumo no mukou, yakusoku no basho) is sung by (heart). er... it is written as a heart symbol in the credit. The singer is actually Kawashima Ai (å·å¶‹ã‚ã„), but not credited to her name. --- http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=athran&match=0 it is spelt Athrun Zala on the CD booklet (Gundam SEED SUIT CD vol2 Athrun Zala x Cagalli Yula Athha). (Although i like Asuran more.) If i remember correctly, it is credited to Kajiura Yuki, but maybe the arrangement is Sahashi Yoshihiko. I haven't got the CD here so i can't check. --- Sorry for the long list, maybe I am bored after finishing all my exams. I hope some of it helps though. |

These are not from the anime Gravitation but from various Gravitation Drama CDs Gravitation_-_Fake_Star.mp3 Gravitation_-_Bird.mp3 Gravitation_-_Predilection.mp3 Gravitation_-_Drive_Me_High.mp3 And this song is not related to gravitation what so ever it's just a normal jpop song Jakunetsu blade (should be shakunetsu blade) Gravitation_-_Jakunetsu_Blade.mp3 |
