OOC: Time to get this off. [Liel Vanguard] [Vermillion Sisterhood Compound - Underground Prison] "You want some help, or would you rather handle it on your own? I wouldn't want to butt in unless asked to." Miranda spoke. "I could always use the extra hand!" Says Liel as she blocks another attack. Liel's current opponent, an agile, masked female fighter armed with a dagger, attempts another attack. Liel managed to duck under the attack, and she swings her longsword towards her opponent. However, the enemy dodged it quickly and kicked Liel away. "Argh, why am I always getting myself kicked at?!" She lamented. Then something was thrown at Liel. With her reflex, Liel quickly grabbed it with her left hand, only to find it is a severed, presumably a female assassin's head. As soon she noticed what it was, Liel lets out a scream before she threw it away at her current opponent. The Vermillion Sister does the same as Liel and when she finds out what she is holding, she was terrified by the sight of it. As a result, the Sister drops the gory stuff and ran away in fear. Liel shook her head and slightly chuckled, before looking around for the culprit. "Whoever did that surely had a bad sense of humor..." She said. The leader, saw the whole incident. She charged at Liel, swinging her claymore in anger. Liel managed to block the overhead slash and pushed the attacker away. Her opponent continued to attack, with powerful blows, before forcing Liel into a deadlock in effort to quickly win the battle. "You should run like that coward did!" "Should... I?" The Guardsman takes a very deep breath, drew her deep reserves of stamina and broke through the deadlock. While having the advantage over the leader, Liel sends a focused blow to her forehead using the pommel of the longsword and knocks the enemy out cold. Before she could react, an arrow went straight to Liel's metal shield and bounced off from it. Surprised, Liel looked at the arrow's direction and found the armored Avirian was struggling with another Sisterhood soldier, trying to kill her. "Gods, forgive me for breaking my oath." As the time was short, Liel immediately throws her longsword into the masked fighter. She gasped as the sword went all the way through her body, and gave a final look to Liel before she drops dead to the ground. While pulling out the longsword from the corpse, Liel asked how the Avirian was doing. "Are you alright...? I thought you could hold your own ground." She said, as she wipes away the blood on the sword with a cloth. As the battle wraps up, Liel suggested that they should leave as soon as possible. "We should get going, before more of them shows up. And I don't feel like killing more of them..." ![]() ![]() |

Well said, Emiya~ Hmm, throwing heads around is kinda odd, eh. Just noticed Roxas's post update, too. ------------------ Stab. Liel's longsword flew out unexpectedly from somewhere, skewering the masked woman. There was little time to react when blood splattered all over it's armor and half of it's face, only managing to close it's eyes in time to prevent blindness. "..." Slowly opening it's eyes, it raised both of it's arms, looking at it's palms, stained by blood that it did not spill. My hands will be stained by blood I spill, one day... Tracking Liel with it's eyes as she slowly walked over, it watched silently as Liel slowly drew her sword from the corpse, much like drawing a sword from a stone. The moment she drew the sword from the body, it's like...she's taking responsibility for killing someone... Liel gently tossed a question at it, while carefully cleaning her sword using a cloth. "...sorry..." "I forced you to...kill. I am...fine. I...tactical errors before the ambush." With that said, it slowly formed up beside Liel when she suggested to get moving. It nodded in silence, since it didn't want to kill, nor make someone kill. It couldn't oppose someone who genuinely took care of their prized possessions, especially someone who thoroughly cleans their bloodstained sword, unlike those who simply swing their weapons for the blood to fly off by itself. ![]() |

[Vermillion Sisterhood Compound - Underground Prison] "Forced her to kill? People like us do this every day just to make a living. It doesn't really have much of an impact on us anymore. I'm a little surprised actually, that a person wearing stuff like "that" would feel bad about it." Miranda's scythe reappeared in her hand and she looked around to make sure the area was clear. "Anyway, I'm going to agree with Liel over there and suggest we get a move on. Standing around like this seems to getting some members of our little gang lost somehow." She lightly tapped one of the children on the head as she questioned them. "You munchkins want to lead us to where that lady was rounding you up? We should be able to pick up the trail from there." The children moved hesitantly toward the hallway and gestured for the group of strangers to follow them. [Vermillion Sisterhood Compound - Underground Prison - Back Exit] "I don't have time for this crap. Get the other children out! Darren, get out here and handle this for me!" A giant of a man slowly emerged from beyond the exit of the complex and lumbered over toward Jillian. He carried a large hammer weapon with him as well as a tower shield. He lifted the hammer over Jillian, but her whip quickly snapped him and he lowered it once more. She looked over her shoulder at him before turning to leave. "You make sure nobody gets through the door. Make it back out alive and I'll toss you one of them when we get to the secondary hideout. Fail, and I expect you to stay out of my sight for good. Now go!" |

(A head, huh? Is that the one my character brought? If so, how'd it get into Liel's hands, I'm sure I thrown it to the enemy. Well, whatever) [Underground Prison] As the battle was happening, Ryuu was observing the armored figure they awakened. He saw something familiar in it, something he saw long ago in a faraway place. As the battle was mostly over, he smirked and mumbled just one word. Ryuu: Alteisen... Then he raised his voice so he could be heard and addressed to that armored figure. Ryuu: Hey, you W-series robot there, how should we call you? Do you know your series number or a codename? I prefer at least knowing my companion's names, or at least fake names. As he finished talking, he suddenly looked around and then sighed. Ryuu: Oh come on, I step a way for a minute and he already disappeared somewhere. Anyone seen Malvin-sempai? I doubt he's in any danger of course, but at least would be nice to know where he is. |

- Arden Wingshadow - Underground Prison - The enemies approached the group, before Arden could do something about them, the group have already took care of it. "Well that was fast." Arden looked around, he noticed that Malvin was missing, before he could ask, Ryuu already asked about it. "Him? Now that you mention it, wheres that guy? Well, wherever he is... He should have a plan that would do best if he is separated with us, lets get going already." With that, Arden gestured to the childrens to start walking. The group then follows the childrens. On the way, Arden thought to himself. "So far I don't get to do the action... Next one I should at least get to do something." |

*crickets* Anyone there~? It's time to be silly. *tumbleweeds* -------------------------- "People like us do this every day just to make a living...", echoed through it's mind. Do they not value life anymore...?, it thought to itself, while slowly following the children. These children are...munchkins. What...is a munchkin? It would slowly raise it's left arm, and gently poke one of the children's cheeks. This is what a munchkin feels like...? Somehow the group was walking at a rather slow pace. Perhaps the children were terrified, but navigating in the darkness wasn't fun either. It was content that the pace was slow enough for it to keep up without too much difficulty. The mysterious wandering man with a giant shield mumbled to himself, as it narrowed it's eyes, hearing it. Maybe he's looking at rusty iron chains in the prison...? Old irons are present everywhere... "Hey, you W-series robot there...", the man raised his voice. It clenched it's right fist, resisting from any other physical actions that others might interpret as 'shock'. I'm...not a robot..., it thought to itself. The white-coat person told us to not like the W-series. A small pebble was pulverized under it's boots, while following the children. Why does this man possess information on the W-series...? The W-series is not my concern, but I have to protect Riese... It was lost in thoughts. "How should we call you?", the man said. Raising caution against this person is important... "Do you know your series number or a codename?" Has he been to Avira? Maybe he's a spy for Avira to keep a check on me. Or a 'stalker', like the white-coat person said. Or an ancient, unrecognized relative of mine? But I don't want that man to be my great-grand cousin or anything... It was contemplating trivial matters in a dangerous situation, not having been taught 'how to not think of silly things'. The man then said, "I prefer at least knowing my companion's names, or at least fake names." That sentence was the only one that got through to it. Ah, he was talking to me the whole time...? It slowly glanced over to the side, looking at the giant shield instead of the person wielding it. Donna sokou darou to, nara uchitsuranuku nomi!, it thought to itself. But that's a shield, not armor...but they still serve the same role, to protect...no...I should be responding to his question...but are strawberries sweet...? As the children looked around warily while leading the group, it continued to be lost in thoughts. He requests my name, but he wants a fake name...which is it...? If I had blueberries, I could paint Alt Eisen blue and tell them I was named 'Beowulf'...but they wouldn't know I was lying because Alt Eisen is red at the moment... It had reached a decision. It didn't realize that Beowulf wasn't a particularly feminine name. Looking up and slowly opening her soft lips, it muttered softly. "..." "I am designated as...Beowulf. Series number ABCD-0123 of Project Little Red Riding Hood." ![]() |

(Well, I'm here, but given the progress speed, I guess checking this RP once per week is good enough) EDIT: Actually, seeing people from this RP posting in different topics and not progressing here, I think it's about time soon to search for a new RP :) [Underground Prison] Ryuu was watching with a smirk, as his question confused the mechanical girl. He mostly asked randomly, thinking that this girl could be this world's version of W-Series, and from her reaction, it seemed he either guessed or at least the name was familiar to her. Finally she responded. Beowulf: I am designated as...Beowulf. Series number ABCD-0123 of Project Little Red Riding Hood. Hearing that, Ryuu smirked once again. Ryuu: Beowulf, huh. Now that's even more interesting, so you have Kyosuke's title, or at least just adopted it. But this name is a bit wrong for a girl to have. So how about I call you Kyo-chan, with Kyo of Kyosuke? Oh, come to think of it, I should've introduced myself before asking for name. I'm Ryuu Akumu. My Requiem's stake is modelled after the original Revolver Stake, and it seems yours is as well, though... that original is probably different. (Those who know my character from other RPs know that Ryuu travels to different worlds, so he sometimes might know unexpected things, like the events of SRWOG in this case. It seems Destiny's character is related to this world's Avira, my character just found a resemblance to the events he encountered in another world and blindly asked questions using that knowledge) |

@All - Hey guys. I just wanted to clarify that I am in fact here and getting ready to post. I'm waiting for someone that hasn't posted in a while (two or three people actually). This is also my Final Exam week for this semester, so if no other posts are made by Thursday then I'll just go ahead. |

Ah, that's good to hear Jonathon. G'luck with your finals, I just had mine and I know how tough preparing for it would be. For now I'll just take this time to finish mucking around with names, before your big post. Always been wondering why did you deploy that giant man with a shield (and likes to hit his superiors?). -------------------------------------------------------------------- Ryuu Akumu...is this...person's...name. His shield has a Stake too...the original Stake is...different. Kyo-chan...? Kyo? I have no jurisdiction over what others decide to designate me as...but he seems to believe that I'm from a "Project Little Red Riding Hood"... Raising her left arm, she looked at her awfully small shield for parrying, with her project designation and serial number stenciled on it. Her serial number was almost completely faded, with almost nothing left of the original. Her designation was slightly faded, but legible. "No..." She looked up, clenching her left fist. "I am...Excellen." ![]() |

Whoa, this is getting interesting.Allow me to join for now ;) Name:Hiryu Valentine Age:40(though looks like a 30-years old man, perhaps even younger) Gender:Male Nationality:Lucine Status:Traveling swordsman/Samurai warrior Weapon:Masamune katana Abilities/Attacks: Extreme Maneuver - Hiryu moves around with very high speed, sometimes closing in onto his enemy and take them by surprise.Requires a certain amount of distances, since he could get too close for comfort sometimes(i.e getting too close to trigger a trap). Raiden Manic - At one point during the battle,Hiryu will suddenly generates a large amount of electricity, increasing his attack power dramatically. Will happen if the battle takes quite a while to finish(a.k.a warm-up time). It also allows him to use his most powerful technique,Overhead Raiden(Lightining) Strike. Overhead Raiden(Lightining) Strike - Hiryu's most powerful attack,he jumps above his opponent and strikes a lightning on them by surprise, causing heavy damage when hit.The damages increases if he jumps from a higher place, but will suffer fall damages if he missed. Can only be used in Raiden Manic mode, and requires a lot of focus to use it.Also requires a certain amount of distance(one of his opponent stated that if they see him jump backward, that's the call sign he's gonna use the attack). Appearance: Personality:A very optimistic and calm man to the end, even in the middle of a battle, although prone to injuries and only knows that after the battle(his adopted daughter,Alisa, often comments that he's very careless).A natural learner and teacher,he often gives advice to anyone he knows, especially Snake, and gains knowledge through self learning. Bio:Formerly one of the strongest and intelligent commander known to most Lucine military units, but left the military after a long time to travel to many places. Among the citizens of many countries, one of the many urban legends said that there's an extremely powerful man in whom they called,"Lightning(Raiden) Reaper".However, those who sees and fought him had never lived to tell the tale, but a few who survived had suffered severe trauma from the battle, rendering them speechless.Hiryu happens to be the one,but nothing has been made against him,as there's no concrete evidences that he was the one with such power(probably 'cause he defeats them so quickly,he didn't had the time to trigger the Raiden Manic mode.Should he did, however, then he'll perfectly fits the legend's description). Now he's nothing more than a traveling swordsman, enjoying his journey whenever he goes.Currently travels with his daughter and son, named Alisa and Snake respectively. About the urban legend Name:Snake Valentine Age:17 Gender:Male Nationality:Lucine Status:Traveling samurai warrior Weapon:A pair of Masamune katanas(some of his copied skills requires such in order to use them) Abilities/Attacks: Extreme Toughness - While Snake isn't as fast as Hiryu,Snake makes up for his sheer strength, both physically and mentally, being able to sustain more damages from enemy attacks of his size than most average men.Of course, being a human,he could still get KO'ed/killed from a fatal attack. This ability is what earns him the nickname,Human Battleship(though there isn't an official battleship in this RP ;P). Skill Duplication - While Snake doesn't have a signature attack of his own like his father and a few people he met,he has a rather keen ability that allows him to copy and remake their attacks into his own, then use it against their users. He discovered this ability during his usual training with his father,Hiryu, when he found that Snake has such keen observation skills that led to this astounding ability(not to mention,Snake's supposedly inherited Raiden ability remains dormant as of moment). Some skills he copied must be relearned before actually master them(especially if it's a really high-level skill),and as such,a good amount of focus is required(he also must be able to see their attacks before making his moves). The other key weakness is that Snake can ONLY copy a specific skill from his "teacher"(in other words, skills that Snake can REALLY execute;anything else, like one involving magic and stuffs,he can't do so due to lack of requirements needed to duplicate the skills). So far,Hiryu's Overhead Slash(renamed from the original) was the only one Snake had actually mastered(he can use the skill with both katanas at hand as well, which deals more damage than he did with one,but lowers his jumping height due to their weight). ??? - Remains dormant at the moment, but will be learned as his journey goes on. Appearance: Personality:Extremely optimistic to the end, even at the point of giving up.Very adventurous,to the point of ignoring the danger that lies ahead(like one of Hiryu's quotes said;"See no dangers, only challenges").Eager to make new friends(and enemies!).Has a love-hate relationship with anything/anyone he meets during the journey.A natural ladies man(though in fact,he's just being nice to the girls he met during the journey),especially towards small girls(he's a lolicon! XD). Bio:Hiryu's son,Snake travels with his father shortly after his leave from the military. An aspiring samurai warrior,he has been traveling alone to see the world during Hiryu's military times(though it's limited to his own home area, however),seeing and learning many things from people to people, town to town(occasionally a few fellow soldiers there, which he didn't know they were Hiryu's comrades!).Now given a chance to see the world with a whole new level,he along with his father and little sister,he sets forth in a journey of self-discovery.... During his journey,he met a respectable Avirian friend named Helmut, who was the captain of certain airship(though Snake didn't knew just yet,Helmut commands a very large airship made for war use!). Name:Alisa Valentine Age:15 Gender:Female Nationality:Supposedly Avira(since she has weak constitution since birth) Weapon:Medical equipments(Lol! XD) Abilities/Attacks:None,though being on the journey with Snake and Hiryu, she picks up rather well in medical field.Cooks pretty well too, though in certain occasion, she finds it hard to find proper ingredients. Appearance: ![]() Personality:Calm and gentle, though somehow annoyed by both Snake and Hiryu's attitude(despite being respectable).Often does her very best, even though she's physically weak. Bio:Hiryu's adopted daughter and Snake's little sister. She was adopted by Hiryu years ago during his journey and brought her back to his home, where she was introduced to her brother Snake. Name:Helmut Age:30 Gender:Male Nationality:Avira(although seemed to be a little stronger than most Avirians) Status:Ship captain(?) Weapon:None Abilities/Attacks:None Appearance: Personality:Well-displined man who knows to take orders from his higher up,iron-willedly completing his duties as a soldier should be(one of the reason Snake respect him a lot;he even made a quote from this.). Bio:Snake's friend whom he met during the journey,he's someone Snake respected the most of all the people he met(which will be foretold soon). |

Well, exams are approaching for me too, but that won't prevent me from posting) @Snake: Yo, now this is getting interesting alright, look forward to RPing with you again :) Oh, and is that Avan on a picture or some other soldier? [Underground Prison] A bit after Ryuu suggested a name for the robot girl, she responded with a denial. ???: No... I am...Excellen. Hearing that, Ryuu laughed a bit. Ryuu: Now that's again an unsuitable name for you. Excellen, huh. You're more like Alfimi. Well, why not. Pleased to meet you, Excellen. Now that necessary introductions are complete, let's hurry with the rescue operation. Be it Avira, humans, robots or even undead, I won't forgive people who use children as a lab rats. I won't let them create something like School again. |

@All -I....HAVE RETURNEDDD! [Malvinder Leonheart][Vermillion Sisterhood Compound - Underground Prison] Malvin watch intrigued as a behemoth of a man was beckoned forth by Jillian. He first tried to crush Jillian with his equally massive warhammer but she forced him back. 'Interesting...even this Darren fellow cant seem to stand her and yet is afraid of her.' Jillian: "You make sure nobody gets through the door. Make it back out alive and I'll toss you one of them when we get to the secondary hideout. Fail, and I expect you to stay out of my sight for good. Now go!" Malvin was in no mood to lose her now. He immediately used Kyoka Suigetsu leaving behind a fake image of himself while walking calmly up next to Jillian. The beauty of that ability was that it made it seem like his 'presence' was still at his original location. He paused by Darren as Jillian berated him and cast a quick spell. He then finally reached her as she turned around and draped his arms over her small shoulders in a loose hug. He then breathed into his ear while canceling his illusion. Malvin: "Come now, you cant leave so quickly..." Behind him his spell activated causing a massive amount of water to erupt from under Darren and engulf him. He made sure that the technique wrapped tight and trapped Darren in an orb of water. Malvin: "Aqual Vocal: Suirou (Prison). He should not bother struggling. I infused my energy into that water making it as strong as steel and as heavy as a rock." Malvin then moved his arms further around her while breathing close to her ear. He moved his head over her shoulder until he could see her eye out of the corner of his. Malvin: "Now, as I was saying, you cannot leave...We have barely gotten to know each other have we?" ![]() |

@All - Sorry I've been gone so long. Everything is done for the next two weeks for me, so I should be posting more often. @Snake - Your profile looks alright. I'll try to come up with some way to work you in. Or, if you would rather not wait, you can go the route that Destiny went and just have your character be a prisoner that is able to escape due to the shelling of the compound. @Snake and Massacre - Also, I feel the need to be a jerky fanboy and point out that that picture is actually of Leon Hardins, Avan's older brother. I think that's from his Valkyria Chronicles 3 appearance. [Vermillion Sisterhood Compound - Underground Prison] Jillian quickly bit into Malvinder's arm and slipped free as a second Darren stepped up behind her. "I will simply assume that you have something planned, rather than believe you actually forgot about my poison. As for my attack dog, he won't need to be doing much struggling; at least, not this version of him. You have too much con-" "So this is where you wandered off to." Miranda and the rest of the group had entered the large room with the two rescued children, who quickly scurried off behind a pile of crates to hide. "Hey! Ryuu! We found your shadow! You and Metal Maiden better hurry up if you want to get in on what's happening over here!" |

@Jon: I've only played second one so far. And yeah, now that you mention it, that's Leon from how he appears in VC2 database at Avan's room. Oh, and sorry if I jump into every fight here, but the progress is so slow, that if I don't, I will have to wait for months until next fight triggers. [Underground Prison] Just as Ryuu decided to hurry up and catch up to others, he could hear Miranda's voice. Miranda: Hey! Ryuu! We found your shadow! You and Metal Maiden better hurry up if you want to get in on what's happening over here! Ryuu: Shadow? Malvin-sempai? Ryuu sighed and rushed into a large room. There he could see a giant man in an orb of water. Ryuu remembered instantly that it was one of Malvin's skills. Further inside he noticed Malvin himself and the woman he saw earlier, Jillian (Though Ryuu doesn't know her name). A second giant man was also standing there, similar to the first one. Understanding he'd better act quick, Ryuu impaled the wall with his stake and an impact, similar to what happened earlier occured. However, this time wall was fine, but Ryuu himself got launched from the wall like a cannonball, getting fired past the enclosed man and slide-landing next to the Jillian and Malvin. Ryuu: Yo. Mind if I join? |

While Excellen was slowly trudging behind the children spewing out green particles, Miranda, leading the group had entered the room first, interrupting a woman's words, cutting her off. "Hey! Ryuu! We found your shadow! You and Metal Maiden better hurry up if you want to get in on what's happening over here!", was what Miranda interjected with. Excellen looked up, having recognized 'Metal Maiden' as one way to address her. Quickening her slow pace, Excellen followed the others into the room, spreading out for engagement, taking note of two tall, men in the room, presumably enemies. "...", was the only thing Excellen could muster. Slowly making her way in front of the crates where the children were hiding behind, Excellen entered a defensive stance, to protect the children, silently watching as Ryuu made his way up to the woman with a cheerful greeting. "Yo. Mind if I join?" ![]() |

[Malvinder Leonheart][Vermillion Sisterhood Compound - Underground Prison] Suddenly she bit into his arm and slipped out from his grasp while speaking, Jillian: "I will simply assume that you have something planned, rather than believe you actually forgot about my poison. As for my attack dog, he won't need to be doing much struggling; at least, not this version of him. You have too much con-" Miranda: "Hey! Ryuu! We found your shadow! You and Metal Maiden better hurry up if you want to get in on what's happening over here!" Malvin turned his head slightly to see that Miranda and the rest of the group had entered the large room with two children in tow. At the sight of Jillian, they quickly scurried behind some crates. Suddenly with his stakes impaling the wall, Ryuu skidded next to Malvin with a grin, Ryuu: "Yo. Mind if I join?" Malvin was examining his wound curiously when suddenly water spilled from it like a fountain. He simply smirked at the stunned Jillian and spoke to Ryuu, Malvin: "Go ahead, Big Dumb Mook Number 2 is yours. I'm almost done with her anyways." Suddenly Malvin's features distorted and lost all identity as only water was left. The water then fell to the ground into a puddle to everyone's surprise. As everyone wondered what happened, Malvin simply walked out of thin air next to Jillian with his sword in hand. Water from the puddle shot out and grabbed Jillian's arms holding her in place as he swung his sword as hard as he could. With the blunt edge of the blade he smashed into her skull from behind, she was more or less guaranteed to be unconscious or have a nasty concussion as the force of the blow sent her flying. She rolled and came to a stop in the puddle as Malvin gave a look of udder boredom not knowing if she was really knocked out or nursing the mother of headaches, Malvin: "Of course I had a plan, woman. Aqua Vocal: Mizu Bushin (Water Clone). Realistic isn't it? And of course, Meikyo Shuisui to make sure you cant sense me. Now I had once again, I am almost done with you. Try anything again, and then we will see how you attempt an escape without your arms or legs. Believe me, that water puddle you are splashing in now is my proof. Or are you really unconscious? Don't worry, I'll just use my sharp pointy sword to check and make sure. We would not want you to try and futilely bite me again would we? You might actually have rabies." ![]() |

OOC: Pardon for my last post's mistake and my lousy post skimming skills. [Liel Vanguard] [Vermillion Sisterhood Compound - Underground Prison - Back Exit] Liel kept quiet as they moved on to the exit. After knowing Excellen's name from a wacky conversation between her and Ryuu, they arrived at the exit. A towering, muscular 7' ft soldier appeared from the exit. With his warhammer in hand, he tried to land a blow on the female leader (Jillian) that he served. With a whip from Jillian, he lowered down his weapon. Liel simply chuckled at the scene. But all was changed as Malvin goes offensive. After imprisoning the brute in an orb of water, he went and grabbed Jillian. Of course, the female villain soon freed herself, and then another juggernaut soldier, with similar features like the last one, steps up behind her as she retreated. At the same time, Malvin revealed his illusions and his skills. After hearing Miranda's call, both Excellen and Ryuu arrived at the exit. With that, Liel drew her weapon and shield, preparing for the fight against the second juggernaut who is wielding a battleaxe in hand. "This is going to be an easy fig---" A loud bang echoed throughout the exit, effectively cutting off what Liel is trying to say. The previously imprisoned muscular warrior broke through the seal and water were spewed all over the place, as he charged to Miranda's group, roaring. Liel dived and evaded the juggernaut's lumbering strikes. Some of his attacks hit the pillars nearby, dislodging out chunks of bricks. Liel quickly got up to her feet, and faced the towering enemy in case he decides to make another charge. Seeing as he headed towards the slow moving Excellen, Liel quickly made a insulting remark on the juggernaut while standing behind him. "Hey, I'm right behind you animal! Come and get me!" The juggernaut made an angry grumble, before pursuing Liel. The cat and mouse chase started, with Liel being the mouse. After evading 2 attacks from the enemy, she felt fatigue slowly creeping into her body. Unable to dodge quickly, Liel blocked the following strike by the juggernaut, which proved to be a mistake. His horizontal blow knocked Liel off her feet. On the ground, she quickly rolled sideways and dodged another attack which can kill her in an instant. Liel took a quick look to her metal shield on her left, which is severely dented. "If I take another blow from him, I'll end up breaking my arm!" She got up again, and this time, Liel takes a quick look to the others with a worried expression. "Help?" At the same time, the second juggernaut (Darren) readies himself for an offensive assault. ![]() ![]() |

[ Arden Wingshadow - Underground Prison ] Arden walked along with the group till they reached of what seems to be the exit. Arden stood silent as he watches everything till he saw Liel looking at the group with a worried expression "Help?" Arden then silently arms the axe. He slowly walked to the other giant (Darren) that readies for another assault. Arden puts on a taunting stance. "Come..." Darren roared and charges to Arden while swinging his hammer down to smash Arden. Arden then blocked the attack with his axe, making both weapons clashes. Arden struggled to win the clash, but to no avail he withdrew the clash and dodges. He looked at Darren with an amazed expression. "Amazing..." Arden's body started to engulf on fire. In Arden's face, reveals a devil's smile. "Time to awaken this devil." Arden said to himself. Arden immediately casts an explosive fire toward Darren. During the explosion Arden jumps to Darren's back and pushes him down to the ground, Arden immediately dismounts from the giant and readies for another attack. As Darren tries to get up, Arden immediately knees his face, pushing him back up. Arden continues with flurries of punches to the face. As Arden finished, Darren's face were swollen and burned. Still standing though barely, he tries to swing his hammer one more time in hope of squashing Arden, but Arden threw a knife and it stabs his chest, on the position of the heart to be exact. Making the giant fall and die. Arden himself could barely stand up after the fight. "Damn... I shouldn't go all out like that..." Arden takes a look at Darren one more time. "Thanks for the fight, giant..." |

Oops, got caught up by the 2012 hype. ---------------------------------------- Debris flew out everywhere when the colossus missed and struck pillars, which definitely would've done something bad to the wooden crates protecting the children, however Excellen was up front, deflecting the projectiles away harmlessly to the sides. Some of the debris scraped off the dried up blood on her armor, but Excellen was still painted with blood over much of herself. When Liel blocked a full strength hammer strike with her shield and was sent flying away, Excellen cringed a little inside. That looks...painful...Alt Eisen could take that strike fine, but the sheer amount of kinetic energy would dislodge me quite a bit... While another of the party member engaged the colossus, Excellen cast a side glance over at Liel's very dented shield. Her precious shield has been damaged so much... Looking down at her own arm shield, Excellen thought to herself. Alt Eisen's arm shield only protects the arm, unlike her shield, meant to protect a large area... Stab. Clang! The colossus fell backwards with a loud thud, his life coming to an abrupt end, along with his hammer, cratering the stone floor as it laid on it's side, now doomed to forever be a background object in this desecrate prison, never to be seen and wielded again. A memento of the colossus's fight. With one colossal man down and that bad lady seemingly unconscious, everything seemed to be fine, although Excellen's instincts told her otherwise. Do not drop guard. Stay frosty...alert, something. This can't be so easy..., Excellen's mind tugged at her. ![]() |
