Yeah that's a good point, so we'll see, cause people could easily get more games. However I hope it's another free month of PSN+ though cause it was down another month, and they said they'd add extra days for however much longer PSN was down for.

I find it interesting they haven't touched on that subject since a lot of the people on the blogs have been asking about it. Since the stores have stayed down and the welcome back package still hasn't come our way, nearly 3 weeks since we were told we'd get it, do we get extended free PSN+ and more content? I don't think we need more content, but an extended + thing I believe may be needed. Since they've remained so quiet about how it's remained down and haven't mentioned a longer membership or content specifically, they may not do anything for us other than what they already promised. I don't mind much, but it'd be nice to see a longer +. |

[@Shuy] Well they said way before they'd give us the PSN+ thing as compensation for PSN being down in general. Since PSN is back up I guess they wouldn't give us more PSN+ but I think they should at least since most people don't have it. I just hope they significantly add more stuff cause the store is lacking. There's a lot of random crap on there and the usual good stuff costs too much money. I'm still thinking about sending in the Sly Collection but I honestly want to beat it first, but it just takes so long. I'm not even half way on the second yet and there's still the third which I hope doesn't involve finding treasures. I do want to beat it though since Sly 4 is coming out and it took me forever to finally get the Sly Collection from GF.

@DA - The game is being built around 4 player co-op, so I would assume that it will be the same as Dragon Rising by having the campaign's be the same. From what I have seen of the Fire Team Engagement missions though, they appear much improved. FTE's in Dragon Rising were really short and basic. They tended to only last about 5 minutes or so and had very few objectives and dialog. (FTE's were bonus missions in Dragon Rising by the way. They usually have no impact on the campaign.) Yes, my friend will be using a mic. I honestly would never have mentioned this to him if he didn't, because that would be a pretty boring co-op session if none of us could talk to each other. I wouldn't get too team-kill happy if I were you. The game/AI team will probably be able to handle that all on its own, if it is anything like DR. This is the Co-op trailer by the way. Shows one of the FTE missions. We'll need to work out who gets what class as well. I would love the Scout/Sniper class, but we can't really have two or three of them running around (doesn't matter if we have multiples of the other classes though). My friend is likely going to take whatever class has the medic abilities (if any of them specialize in that). I would be okay with any of the classes, except maybe Grenadier.    |

[@Jon] Yeah I'll play everything that's available online with you whenever you want. This stuff looks sick. lol, hmmm would it be better to kill off the AI then and steal their ammo? Can you over-stock in this game? About sniping, is their wind projection and coordination and whatnot (like in BF)? I was pretty beast at sniping most of the time in KZ3 (mostly on Frozen Dam map). My K/D was always okay, even after I began using more rifleman weapons and whatnot but I'm sure once I get a feel for it I'll be fine. I'll have to check the classes before choosing whatever I want to be. We can work those details later on and such, although if we're limited to those classes/weapons throughout the mission it'll make me choose sooner. I'm mostly someone who likes to get into the action and engage, so other than maybe trying out sniping I'll try the usual rifleman/assault rifleman class whatever it's called in this game. But yes, we'll figure that stuff later on, once I actually can get the game I'll let you know. My re-mailed GF game was sent today, so possibly by Saturday I can beat it and probably send it in by Monday. Takes about two days to get it back to them so it'll be passed the 7th when the game comes out, although I'm not sure if GF actually buys games and then lets people rent them or have users send in games and trade them in. Also E3 is next week so we wouldn't be able to play during the day. On another note, FAK, Uncharted 3 beta comes with infamous 2. Too bad I'm not getting it.

@DA — Yeah, most of the good stuff is expensive. They need to add some new stuff, and I hope they add Chrono Cross soon. Japan got it in the PSN December 10th, and it's suppose to be coming out here on the PSN. As for the more time for + or more stuff, it's mostly because of the store being down and still not being up -- not until the end of this week apparently. I really don't care either way, as I just wanna grab my two free games and check out those movie rentals we're suppose to get for free. But since it's taken so long for us to get our free stuff, I wouldn't be surprised if they threw something else in there. I just think a longer + would be a nice gesture, since it's been awhile for us to wait for the package. Oh well either way, I'm just happy to be able to game online and get a couple free games. |

Speaking of U3 i read that you can CO-OP together with TWO PSN's split screen action @Jon neat trailer, i wonder if each player has to play a role that is assign to you and your teammates and ooooooo la la 4 player co-op eh now this is what i call teamworks commuting one to another @Shuy yea another gift to us wouldn't hurt

[@Shuy] PSN is back up today but it's really laggy and slow. Probably cause everyone's on it. Not sure if you get the PSN+ thing, it's hard to move around cause it's a bit slow. I saw they added a crap load of Killzone 3 avatars which look sick. I want to see someone get it to see what it looks like. I'd get one but I don't really have the game anymore but they're really sweet looking! inFamous 2 demo is up but other than that no other new demos? It seems they're saving it still, I'unno I didn't explore in the + section yet. Maybe I'll try later when I see updates. [@JC] So far I read it's offline split screen, not sure about online yet. Online co-op for any game is still a lesser common thing these days that fans die for.

Just finished going through the PSN and nothing really new. I might re-download Final Fantasy IX and play it, but other than that I don't see myself buying anything new. I plan on playing White Knight Chronicles all weekend so that I can get back to my original spot before I got the Yellow light.

I thought about that at first, but it wouldn't be right to just activate it without letting people know first. And I checked my e-mail today while doing work for my dad and nothing from Sony, other than activating that protective ID theft thing lately, nothing else.

@DA - That's alright. I'm set up for a full straight week of work, so I may not have any time to start playing the game until Friday. I work every day next week, so Friday night will be the only opportunity. Hopefully you have the game by then. The PSN Welcome Back package will be up in the next few days, according to Sony. I'm guessing you will get redeemable codes via e-mail. @Yuna - You're replaying? Let me know if you plan to do any of the quests. I'm around level 24 at the moment, back in Balandor after getting Ceaser. I managed to solo some of them, but mainly because I far outleveled the monsters. It's alright if you don't want to though. @JC - As far as I know, you can pick whatever class you want. I don't think you need one person per class. |

Oh I see then, I guess I'll be the one to let you know if I get it by then. I won't start it until you can play, maybe if there's some practice mode or something. I'll play around but won't get into the actual story mode or campaign until you're ready. Hopefully I can get it, I was able t get Crysis 2 fairly fast as well although I waited longer to try that out so who knows.

@Yuna - That's fine. Just let me know if or when you plan on doing any of the guild quests. I was only able to complete Boot Camp I, A Grave Matter and Brave Litton's Plight on my own. I only managed to get an S on Boot Camp I. I have every other quest purchased up to the Bunker Lode Caverns. I'm assuming that you plan on getting WKC2 as well, right? My friend plans on getting a copy for himself (he'll borrow my copy of WKC before the second comes out), so if you and Maiku will be getting the game then maybe we can form up a 4 player party for the quests. @DA - I can still manage to play it during the night after I get back from work, so don't worry about having to wait for me. I'm a night owl, so playing from 10 to 2 in the morning is not out of the ordinary for me. I just wanted to let you know that I wouldn't be getting a lot of free time, so there's little chance that me and my friend will get a chance to start the game until you get your copy. I'm looking forward to this though. DR had its frustrating moments, but we still got quite a few laughs out of it. Besides that, I haven't played with anyone from Gendou in a long while. Me, Maiku and Ray had our last Lost Planet 2 session about two and a half months ago I think. I'm usually the one that misses these gaming opportunities with you guys, because I either do not like the completely competitive multiplayer games you play or I get the game far too late (as was the case with WKC). |

@JC - Thanks for the update. The store is constantly giving me error messages though. I tried downloading the PSN+ subscription and got an error message, and now the icon is off of the page, so I might have been screwed over on that. I'm not sure if it's safe to try the free games yet. Edit: Yep, I was screwed over on it. The 'Free PSN+' icon no longer appears on the store and I do not have a PSN+ subscription. I also lost one of my free PS3 games because of the same error messages. *sighs* Edit 2: Alright, I got it worked out, although I had to search around the net for a way to get them. If anyone runs into the same problem as me, what you need to do is go to your Account Management page, then to Transaction Management, and finally select the Services List. Then you can pick the Welcome Back icon, Select Content, and it will take you back to the selection screen. I honestly don't know whether I failed to read, or if Sony simply did not explain the process clearly. Alright, well if anyone else here manages to get their games downloaded at some point today, then I'll be back later on for some Wipeout, depending on how many people actually have an interest in playing that. |

[@Jon] Luckily I got my GF game today, after trying to beat it by tonight, I'll mail it tomorrow and hopefully have them receive it by next Tuesday. Whether or not I can get the game right away is up to them but I've had OF:RR on top of my gameq for quite a while now, hopefully I get it first or early. About the PSN+ thing, I get an error just either getting into the store or trying to get into it I mean, and accessing account management, it seems they're trying to fix it right now. *sigh* Sony... Guess I'll have to try again later...

well it's working for me although that error message does keep poping up and after a couple of attempts to go back in successful @Jon thanks for that tip there and steps that we have to do if that happens. although if only that same error would stop happening at every single thing we go to.
