@ Raiz-san That vid is pretty awesome to say the least!!! MAD vids are always so well done that they are mistaken for the real thing rather than amv's. Must have taken ALOT of editing to do that sequence!! Thanks as well for adding your thoughts to the Kagigaki site. It would've been nice to be apart of the 'actual' 10th anniversary but hopefully our appreciation for the wonderful work Key has done these past 10 years will reach them. Also finished watching the Kyou route OVA, had to work in the morning so i had to wait until after. Like Raiz-san, this route would've been extremely difficult to cover fully so shortcuts were not a suprise. In fact other than the actual series which was supposed to be told to the fullest, i thought Key & KyoAni did a great job on telling the stories of all the characters of CLANNAD. Not many were shafted & some (Yukine) were even extended. So what they did with Kyou was reasonable & for the most part gave us what we wanted. It was certainly a 'tear fest' to say the least as much of the 25 mins or so had someone crying ever so often. The scene in the rain with Kyou & Tomoya was really well done & the impact of that emotional scene was felt. You really didn't see much of Kyou with her new look in the original game, so it was really pleasant to see her with the new haircut. I can see it now...all the Kyou fans will be falling for her all over again...Xiao-san i'm looking at you buddy!! With the Kyou arc complete i guess it is official now that this marks the end of CLANNAD. I don't know about any of you but the past 2 or so years have been one hell of a ride & worth every single moment! I can die a happy man now that i've seen CLANNAD in anime form. Of course i'll die an even HAPPIER man if Little Busters! gets its anime version as well! At least there is Angel Beats to tide us over until than!! NEXT DISCUSSION TOPIC - ANGEL BEATS! EDIT** Well Lia's new CD compilation is now out & it'll still take a few more days before i get my copy. Either way i've heard some of the samples of the songs from the CDs. I like the promotion that Queens Label did for it....buy 2 get 1 free. You get Lia's live CD, the Viel assorted voices album, & the free item is Lia's special concert CD she did for her fanclub. Once i get my copy i'll upload some to imeem & add it to the playlist i have on my profile. Anyways to get you ready for them here is the sample/promotional video that Queens label posted.  |

Well nothing much as you already know. I'm thinking of editing this thread to be some sort of Key Visual Arts fan club. All the works from the company will be discussed here & any future titles that may be turned into an anime in the near future (LITTLE BUSTERS!!!). However that may not happen until after the summer when i have more free time on my hands. Other than that....feel free to talk about anything Key related. Oh! there is still no winner for the 3rd round......:( |

Um... lol. Not really sure how to introduce myself or anything. Well... I've just recently watched CLANNAD, and CLANNAD After Story and I am utterly in love with it. I'd like to join the fan club... if no one minds ^^" So my name is Manglez, and my favourite character of the series is Okazaki Tomoya. :)   |

Welcome Manglez-san!! Glad to have you aboard. I'll add your info as soon as i can. Also the thread will eventually have a makeover & officially become the Key Visual Arts fanclub to discuss all things made by Key! Look for it after the summer is over, when finally i can have some free time to 'DO' stuff. Anyways Veil released another album which is essentially a remix of the original one they released a few months ago. Included is various songs remixed from visual novels...except one which is a cool version of "Don't Say Lazy"!! I'll post that up on the K-ON! thread. Here is the remixed version of Negai Kanau Basho from CLANNAD. Only a sample of it since that is imeem's new thing. Listen to the full song on my imeem profile. |

lol, I like it, but it's two styles of music mixed into one, so it goes either way. The lyrics are sped up a little bit to match the much faster trance beat. I like how the vocals sound though, it's like a choir is singing. It'll build on me, gotta find the album.

A new preview of Angel Beats was released some time ago. Someone was nice enough to gather all of the PVs into one single video. So here is the latest news on Key's new anime series, this time not based on any VN but an entirely original work. The last 2 PVs show the concept art of the othe characters that will be appearing in the anime series. Also a scheduled release date of early-mid 2010 is when AB will be airing. More news on this new series as it comes around. |

Some new information about the upcoming "Angel Beats" anime due out sometime in 2010. The offical has updated quite alot of information, there you can see concept art of all the characters in the series. Also some illustrations that i have posted below. Another is the introduction of the radio show hosted by Jun Maeda-san...listened to abit of it, pretty interesting stuff. Story: In a world after death, angels fight for their fate and their future. Yuri, the leader of the Shinda Sekai Sensen, rebels against the god who destined her to have an unreasonable life. On the otherhand, Tenshi, the chairperson of the student council for the world after death, battles against the SSS members. SSS members utilize armed weaponry to battle it out against the angels harnessing supernatural powers. Promotional Pictures:       |

What i can't wait is to see who is doing the op/end themes for the series. You gotta know that it will be either Lia, Eufonius, Chata, or Rita that will be doing it. Another thing is that you know it'll be AWESOME!!! Also looking forward to hear the soundtrack of Key's new game Rewrite which is still in development & yet to have a release date. ***EDIT*** It is unofficial but during the next podcast Jun Maeda-san will announce that Lia-san will be performing the Opening & Ending themes for the upcoming 'Angel Beats!' anime series. Here is a link to the official website with some more details : Angel Beats Special - Lia SINGS!!! Also in the latest podcast Jun Maeda-san & some of his cohorts released a sample of some music that may or may not be in the anime series. That Lisa girl, I'm guessing one of the seiyu starring in the anime, is really pretty. Lia's doing some themes? Well, isn't that just so darn... awesome? :P Can't wait for this new title, even though it's hard maintaining the vast dozens of others! XD

The official "Angel Beats" website has updated their info. Some new promo illustrations have been posted as well as the much anticipated (by me at least) radio show that will feature Lia as a guest host. Also on the site is a new promo movie which makes it number 6 so far. The new promo vid actually shows animation and judging by what they are showing it looks pretty good! There are some memorable scenes...like the dude getting hit by a log! Some blood looks like it is present, some K_ON!/Haruhi Suzumiya moments as well (rock band). Ah, still a few months yet. I've been cranky lately, my sources haven't upped any new anime releases lately, and I've been stuck watching virtually Sasameki Koto for like the past week. Must be another one of those slow weeks, then one day they just all come scorching at you. Though I have other series to watch, for some reason I don't... XD Just curious, nothing about Little Busters! being animated? Trying to remember... Kyoto Animation isn't doing anything right now, right? Well... except production of the new Haruhi movie of course.

I updated my last post with a youtube uploaded video so you guys don't have to go to the official site to watch it. @ DAngel-san You are probably aware that the new promo vid for the anime has alot of similarities to Haruhi Suzumiya, heck even the main heroine looks like Haruhi. There is probably quite abit of influence of that series in Angel Beats. As for your question about Little Busters! anime. It is almost guaranteed that it will eventually happen since the majority of Key's vn have been turned into some sort of anime adaptation (with the exception being Planetarian)...even older Key titles before they became Key. For example "One". Since LB has a radio show & manga adaptations it is only a matter of time. So fans awaiting an anime version justs needs to be patient. I waited 4 years for CLANNAD to be adapted....hopefully it won't take that long. *KEY NEWS UPDATES!! It looks like Tomoyo won't be the only Key character to have a game for themselves. One of the more popular characters from Little Busters! "Kudryavka Noumi (Kud for short)" will have her own spin-off game called Kud Wafter. Kud is the little girl with the beret. Her catch phrase is "Wahoo!", much like Ayu's "Uguu" & Misuzu's "Gao". Anyways unlike Key's other vn in the works REWRITE, Kud Wafter will have adult content (just like for Tomoyo).The game will be have a scheduled release of Summer 2010. I listened to the Angel Beats radio show that had Lia as a guest. It was over 5 hours long!!! I must say that Lia was absolutely adorable in the podcast. The majority of the show was Jun Maeda & Lia reminiscing about the times they worked together & continuation to do so. There were some rehersal snippets of Lia singing songs for CLANNAD & AIR which was kinda cool. I'm highly looking forward to hear Lia sing again doing the opening song for Angel Beats. The ending will be done by Aoi Nada of Cowboy Bebop fame. Absolutely my most anticipated series for 2010 maybe for the entire year! |

I think you're talking about the girl with the bow of sorts in her hair? Hmm, she does have a bit of that flare that Haruhi has. Maybe similar personality? Although they're using the normal used art style that KyoAni uses (Haruhi, Clannad, etc.), is this the first non-realistic anime that they've produced? Well, excluding FMP and I guess Haruhi, but everything else they've produced has been more of a realistic anime. This new title obviously involves action and weapons, and it looks amazing. What was that they said about true tears and Canaan? Same music producers?
