Heh...good things happen to those who wait....hmmmm. i guess that is true after all. It's nice to hear that the series will be concluded....although tragic the events in Kyoto (i hear another axe attempt happened...this time no fatalities)....i'm glad it didn't permanately pull the series off the air. Now we'll get to see if what happened...i'm looking really forward to it! Whatever the ending may be i'm completely satisfied with this series. Yes...even if 'that guy' doesn't get it at the end. After what happened i'm relieved i can actually get to see it....if it was cancelled ...MAN what a cliffhanger. @ SkyL-san Well the reason i think that shows like Claymore or even Elfen Lied didn't cause such a commotion cause the viloence in it is a little over blown. Claymore is more fantasy oriented...while the killing in Elfen is a tad over-exaggerated. School Days & harugashi are slightly different cause it is more closer to real-life....i mean it is closer to reality. That's just what i think anyways....feel free to ignore it.  |

Sigh, now back to the story... I HOPE MAKOTO DIES!!!! (Don't you just love being extreme? I have never felt soooo much hate aganist one character. I purposely repeated the "To My Children" ending in the game just to see him die over 12 times already lol) @Izumo Yeah I thought that could've been the reason too. But you have to agree that the violence is much more grotesque. >.>; I mean, hearts flying out of people's bodies and intestines lopping out of stomachs... |

So finally, in about 8 hours, the much-anticipated conclusion to School Days will air in Japan. Us, internet viewers, will probably have to wait several hours longer than that to see it, especially the Subbed viewers (me included). But after suffering through an ardous and nail-biting week-long wait, a few more hours of waiting shouldn't be too difficult to handle. I, too, am just glad that we can finally have some closure to this great anime. And I agree with Izumo on the violence depicted in Claymore/Elfin Lied compared to School Days/Higurashi. Claymore/EL violence is probably too gory for younger kids to watch anyway, but those who do watch it would probably figure that that kind of gore is too farfetched to happen in real life. Japanese officials were probably worried that teenagers watching School Days/Higurashi might end up emulating the actions of the characters because the setting of the animes were too close to reality. This has come to pass due to the axe murder by that 16-year-old schoolgirl.

@tapmasterc - I agree. The violence in Claymore and Elfin Lied is different from School Days. Claymore is so... fantasy-ish. The blood shown comes in red as well as purple. Hahha. Pretty upset that the ending was delayed. mm... |

lol, let's not compare an anime to Jackie Chan movies now. XD Well, at least we won't have to wait 5+ months to see the ending. Is there any possibility of another season, even though the anime seems to be a one 12-episode series? Although what's not beneficial from that... well... we'll have to deal with his idiotic decisions for another 12+ episodes or so.

Okay....that was just simply insane. I finally saw the much anticipated episode 12. What can i say about it....first thing is that they did edit one part about it. Instead of red they made the blood more blackish looking. It's alot darker is what i'm saying. Seeind it did look kinda weird at first but ou'll get use to it. Secondly...this is an ending that will please everyone...SkyL-san get ready for a treat!!!! In fact those who feel what i feel about 'that guy' will definitely LOVE this ending. However the last part is a little disturbing. Well...i don't want to spoil it but DAMN....it was twisted. Try not to lose your 'head' while watching it...... After seeing this...now i know why it was pulled off the air. I read in some blogs that those who saw the screening of it in Japan said that the unedited version the blood was red...the flashbacks were not there instead it showed Sekai doing more of her business on 'that guy'. It was kinda funny at the very end...we do get a 'NICE BOAT' ending after all.... |

Blood is actually dark red in some rare cases. Some people's hemoglobin absorb oxygen more readily than others. Mine is scarlet but slightly darker. >.>; So I'm guessing Sekai does the blow onto Makoto? Hehe, it's like To my Children but eviler I'm guessing from the tone of Izumo's text. I guess I was right, the director DID stick to the roots of Overflow's School Days's success. So I'm guessing this is what happens, Makoto does the Discovery Channel (see my sig to understand what I'm talking about) with Koto and Sekai finds out. Sekai who is preggy and used to be very happy about the baby, falls into turmoil and turns into the "Saw Koto" from one of the bad endings in the game. Kills Makoto and kills the baby? You said it was twisted Izumo-chan >.>; That's about as twisted as my imagination can get :p |

Yeah!!! This is one of the BEST, COOLEST most disturbing endings i've ever seen in an anime....yet i couldn't keep my eyes off the screen...they were glued to it! Fans of the game who played it is in for a real treat....it's like a smorgasborg of some of the endings in the game. Read a lttle more....other parts that were edited other than the blood & the flashback scenes....when the disturbing part was about to begin....there is a school bag on the bench....supposedly the unedited part showed what was in it!!!! Now it makes me wanna get the DVDs to see it for myself. Funny that after the events...life just went on the way it was....i guess what happens in reality is the same as in anime. @ SkyL-san Well....yes there is the 'to my children' end...but there is also another...like i said it'll be a treat for you. The scene doesn't happen the way it does in the game though....it's alot more gruesome what Koto-chan does after.....*shiver*...the way she's so calm was the most disturbing part. And like i said....keep a close eye on the 'Nice Boat'.....that was funny the way the creators added it. |

HIDE THAT SPOILER! Except me, some people have not seen the episode yet. All I can say is, Wow, it's like the whole anime is all the good ending of side characters and the bad endings of the main characters (except jumping koto one) put together into one and w/ a slight modification to the story, bam. Now if you think about it, black blood does have a huge literary meaning. I think they should keep the blood black than red now :p Hmmm, I wonder what's in that bag. Who gives a 5h17, everyone hates him anyway. You know what I saw on another forum? They had a chart on the anime thread (School Days) with a popularity chart on who they wanted to die. Makoto, won "97.65%" of the votes, if I remember correctly. I wrote it down somewhere, but yeah it's basically 95%+. /cheers~ I haven't seen episode 12 yet either, but hearing that this dude dies doesn't bother me. dLed 12 today, can't wait to see it after I finish my business right now. ^_^ But... /sigh~ School Days is now.. over...

Dang, what a twisted ending. The background music gave you that theme like some horror killer movie. Kind of twisted how Koto [censored]'s head. O.o` Ah, guess I can't reveal spoilers for a little while. But... that's it. The anime's over... (:\

So i see you guys have seen the last episode.....i can see that SkyL-san really enjoyed it. I tink you're getting a little carried away with it though....:P I have to check but is that what 'that guy' said to Sekai when she stabbed him....the same in the game. So basically he said 'thank goodness'....hmmmmm. The one Overflow showed at the viewing event didn't have that many flashbacks...i've read it showed Sekai being more brutal....repeatedly stabbing him....the sound effects were more dramatic as well. I must say he looked like a wreck....tears & mucus running down his nose. I did like the scene before it....when he gets the message from Sekai...'Goodbye..." Also from what i've read that the unedited version shows Koto-chan...ummm..... *highlight to read*Taking the saw & cutting 'that guy's head & putting it in the bag....i'm not sure if this is true or not.... I realized what Setsuna meant during episode 8...about the flower reference. It explained more in detail during the scene where Sekai sees those characters from the play & the masked figure. *highlight to read* Sekai basically used Koto-chan to get close to 'that guy'...& all the stuff that happened was her fault. If she just didn't get involved between the two. If she didn't switch seats. She knew she was in too deep & lied about being pregnant so 'that guy' will have the responsibility to be with her....this is where she went too far. Although i understand that her feelings for him distracted her to the extent that she didn't realize what the consequences will be. It was difficult to see that the two girls were at each other over 'that guy'....although i'm at peace 'that guy' got it in the end....i wasn't that happy about one of the girls getting killed. I'm not sure about any of yo guys....but i'm glad they used 'Still I Love You' for the end theme....but i kninda knew that the song was going to make an appearance sooner or later in the anime. |

Can't say I didn't see that one coming, but damn, that was an intense ending. Katsura is berserk. All in all a good watch however. |
