Saw 13 and it was an exciting episode. Finally, some real, current day action! We see more Pheles and she's quite the girl. Strong, beauty, all the above. ♥♥♥ It was cute how she spoke softly about Johan. When you first see her, she looks mean because of her facial expression. Although Pheles was strong in the fight, she quickly looses strength as she starts to fight Shana. I think it's cause of her connection with Yuuji and the Reiji Maigo. Once he activated his fuzetsu, Margery Daw just went nuts! I thought the part where Tanaka screams his emotions for loosing Ogata (in the fuzuetsu) at Margery Daw was pretty strong and passionate. I don't think I ever saw him express that side of him before, but he loves Ogata and Margery Daw. I also think the more Satou sees Yuji's powers, the more he becomes jealous inside. He's been showing signs of it in the past two or three episodes when Yuji has been training with Wilhemina and Shana. So now, I'm just expecting the next episode. I want to see more Pheles and I want to see what'll happen next. The title of the next episode is tempting and makes me desire more from it. Also... Konoe saw the entire thing as well. Can't tell what she was whispering, but maybe she's not the normal girl she proved to be from before now is she? We haven't see her a lot as well. She's been sick or something, and staying inside her house a lot.

Finally a real fighting scene indeed. And a berserk Margery Daw as well, quite the satisfying episode :D But what surprised me the most is Pheles' seiyuu, Inoue Marina... lol, so she plays a character like this as well XD |

i think this is a good time for you to start watching the series again... things are getting better and better. i would recommend against watching it if you're not really into cliff hanging episodes because every last clip of each episode makes me not want to wait for another week *_* the last two episodes, 14 and 15, is a good example of that... everything is now focused again on the plot |

[@Jaydel] 14 & 15? Are you talking about "13 & 14"? Cause 14 just released and 15 airs on Janurary 25th. [@Suzaku] FIGHT~! I'm not only reading about newer series about to release, future series later this year, but older ones as well. Not only that, dLing them together (semi old/new/recent) is pretty complicated but I manage to keep everything organized. ^_~` I'll probably see 14 later tonight...

DA, i mean episode 13 and 14.. i might have confused it with other shows like dragonaut and gundam 00 which are ahead by one episode. ^^; suzaku, we have our midterm exams this week and i even have the time to watch lots of anime shows... haha... i know it's not something to laugh about and it's not funny too o.O;; ---- pheles did a good thing of making herself an avatar to do the searching for her while she's away but what's with this unexpected twist?! the 'silver' comes out of yuji and pierced pheles. the next episode makes me really excited. will margery go berserk again? and WHO is konoe? the next episode surely has lots to tell... |

man, i picked up shakugan no shana season I after getting infected by all the hype on gendou (avvies and what not). Also, Shana's character design was interesting.. flaming sword, flaming eyes, flaming hair.. XD And then i noticed.. she's a lolita type.. *groan*.. Finished that, it was above average I guess.. the only thing I really hated about the whole thing was.. Sakai Yuji +_+ I can't help but think he is such a loser. It doesn't bode well for the anime when you hate the main protagonist.. But I stuck with it, the Shana-tan specials were a riot~! And started on Shana Second.. too much harem anime stuff in the beginning, and Magery Daw's flashback was soooo boring~! I tell you, I fell asleep watching those 2-3 episodes..the clock-faced guy had such an annoying voice that I literally stopped watching Shana at ep10. (Enough about your STUPID plans to 'advance' society~!!) But I still kept downloading episodes as they came out, and today I finally forced myself to continue watching.. What can I say.. the school festival was somewhat enjoyable.. and the series has finally 'started' with the appearance of Pheles. (NO, I DID NOT FEEL AT ALL EXCITED WHEN YUJI CAME OUT WITH A SILVER FUZETSU DURING TRAINING.. I STILL THINK HE'S LAME) Oh well.. sorry for blabbing on and on.. I had to let out my frustrations somehow.. Oh~! Tanaka hugging Oga-chan was a really nice scene.. I'm glad it worked out for those 2. *goes off to watch 13 and 14*

[@JaydeL] You don't know who Konoe is? She's the new transfer student who greatly resembles Hecate. I read a bit about Konoe and Hecate, and yes... they do relate and in episode 15 you find out why (or so). You'll find out why they look so similar... but they're not the same person. Konoe is NOT Hecate. Kind of strange to call this an "avatar", since it can easily be classified as fooling someone to get what they really came for. This was what Pheles had in mind, but in the end of the episode she gets a huge silver hand through her body. So, this thing is like protecting Yuji now? The pain and suffering that Pheles has been living through for years is pretty deep. In the preview for the next episode, we see what I think is the mutated form of Johan. Also, Konoe's true identity is revealed, which I already found out (I think). Man, she's been quiet for quite some time now... hiding out and whatnot... And as the Festival is finally over, will Ike finally be able to rest? He's been working late nights, all nights in fact, for like, days! [edit] Dang, episode 15 was out fast! Right after 14, a few quick day or two later 15 was out. I finally saw it right now though but I probably had it the minute it came out! Anyways, onto the episode and quite a full packed episode it was! OMFG, this is probably the best episode thus far in the series. There was an s~load of action here, quite the episode. Also, you finally find out who Konoe really is. The episode didn't really explain that part much since it was all pretty fast and sudden. I'll try to explain it, I think I'm pretty right though... Later in the episode, you see Johan, the lover Pheles has been searching for for a long, long time. Again, I love the seiyu of Pheles man. Her voice is to DIE for, it's so... beautiful!! T-T` ♥♥♥ Yuji's seiyu also did a marvelous job in this episode as well, what with all the screaming for his life and whatnot. Shana as well, and later in the episode where Yohan comes out, Shana goes flying after Yohan and Pheles, wondering where her Yuji is. After Yohan/Yuji gives his energy to Pheles, Yohan drops then fades into the form back into Yuji. That's when you see Shana's passion and true love for Yuji at this moment in the episode. I nearly shed tears myself. Just everything from this particular moment, the facial expression from Shana, hear tears, everything was very strong and direct and very passionate! T-T` I feel bad for Yoshino, though. She's all... human-like and can't really get involved as much as she would want to. But man, this is some episode! Might watch it again; it was soooo goooodd!! [edit-2] Yup, it was great the second time as well. I nearly cried during the one part. I took a screen shot of it:

Yes, it was the latest episode of 15. And DANG *pats head* You need to catch up fast, Suzaku-chan. It's even better if you see it though. Cause you see Shana longing for Yuji. It's so touching and cute - might make you cry. T-T` And personally, I still think it's the best episode so far. It was pretty amazing seeing Johan blocking the attacks from Hecate and that one dude using Magnesia.

OK. I'm really disappointed with the 2nd season SnS. *so I'm bringing a shield with me* I heard that the animation quality dropped, but I didn't believe it myself until I saw it, which made me like "Hey, do I EVEN know this character!?" Take a look. This is ep04   And this is ep 14. (OMG)   The inconsistency is just too frustrating, and don't tell me there's a good reason for it. This is Shana, what on earth are they thinking? (Still, at least Hecate-chan looks good XD. That helps me regain my self-control a bit. Or does she?)  When I first started watching SnS (season 1), I didn't have a problem with Sakai. But now, he's really GETTING on my nerves. I don't think I've ever disliked a protagonist of a series this much (oh don't mention Makoto, he's technically a b****, not a protagonist). The way Shana and Yoshida treated each other, was "cool" at first, but repeating the same line 1 billion times is way too annoying, it just makes the character development unnatural and hardly convincing. But that doesn't irritate me as much as the person they're talking about. He totally doesn't deserve it! OK maybe Shana hasn't told him her feelings yet, but does that mean if she doesn't, he will vow to remain unactive, indecisive and stupidly ignorant ?! For the past few eps, I've not seen one credible bit of evidence of how Shana can still like this guy so much, and I feel SORRY for her even more after watching ep15. She doesn't deserve to be treated like this. You may want to take a look at Okazaki from Clannad (no, you won't be able find him kicking the bad guys' ass, saving the world or SCREAMING FOR HELP LIKE A BABY), that's one amiable boy, one helluva difference. I was on the verge of dropping this series completely, but fortunately I changed my mind after watching the fighting scenes, the return of the Bal Masque, including my lovely Hecate-chan. It'd be nice if they could just focus on the action, leave out the whole romance thing completely unless they could make it look more believable. Yoshida? I don't like her so much, but she's basically a good girl who helps complicate matters further by having a crush on our magnificent Yuji. (Note that I'm talking about the anime only) |

@twisted: to clear some things up the 3rd screenshot is a flashback of what happened to Margery about a couple of years ago, so she's younger than the one on the ep.4 screenshot (forgot) I don't know how Carmel had some inconsistencies there.. different angle, lighting, and facial expression..
