IMHO, I am in favor of the test story (a dry run) before the real McCoy (Key's story). I understand there will be more work for all of us but I think the experience is invaluable. Personally, I would love to learn how to make a manga, so the more practice, the better we will all be at this.  |

im not saying kill the test story completely, what im saying is use the prologue instead of a brand new story so its less work but we still get the experience

So, you're saying: The "test" is like the prologue/start of the the overall story, get into it, and then continue the story into the real thing. So we should use Key's prologue of the "dialog" (being it gets proofread...) while drawing illustration pictures to go along with it? Is that your idea?

yes but its just an idea. its ultimately up to ich. i just think it would be less stress on everyone if we did it that way. like i said, lets just use the prologue as a pilot. show to our gendou users, get feedback, and if all goes well start chapter 1

Test the story idea and make it easy for the char. artist. (You get to draw books, lol) Sounds good to me, but yeah, Ich is the one to choose.

@Ray right with your point...ok then..We'll use the prologue!^^ @ToD im not the EIC here ^^; everyone can decline or accept the story...^^ start to make a LAYOUT sketch for the story...we'll be needing it for the position of the characters an backgrounds @Without you If possible, pls start with the character design...and i will start with the backgrounds.... @Key just want to know what exactly or where exactly this story occurs...I mean for the city, would it be a plain city? *like in Japan* or somewhat Province type? for the main place what should it look like? for the map...can you post your sketch for that? ^^WE'LL BE STARTING GUYS^^

@red i can't go with the land of twilight since the(.......) is the world name not particular place, and the world have these three books, so particularly i can't use name that define one of the books, but for the city or place's name, i might have resemblance to these three books before starting, i want to ask what story do you want to use?? the prologue? or the story of the book of twilight? because i might change the char and story plot since this is how its done the prologue is consisting the book of Quasars story then the book of Twilight story then the epilogue is consisting the book of noir story @all: and FYI i usually log in around this time ^^

@ich yeah, i know, that's why i asked those questions, since if you going to use the prologue, that mean you will be in the time of Quasars, the time might be older, but the technologies far better, if you use the twilight, then followed my post earlier if you use noir......^^ haven't thought about it ^^ this sequence is base on if you choose twilight the first scene: flashback pages -first pic, show part of village -second pic, show kid playing and running -third pic, show one particular house -fourth pic, show room with open door (view from outside) -fifth pic, show that room with a boy inside (the room look like a storage room) -sixth pic, show a girl arrive in front of the room door saying(what are you doing?) -seventh pic, show the boy looking at the old dusty book (look at this!) -so on^^, show the the girl went toward him (what is that) -show the boy observe the book (i don't know) -still continuing the sequence girl(should we ask before?) boy(nah, its fine) -the boy open the book flashback ends here (not that it is flashback^^) ~view from inside the room~ -pic show door being open -a teenager around 19 coming into the room (there you are, we've been waiting for you, what are you doing here anyway?) -the one inside turn around showing his face "he is the main char", he was sit and reading a book, the turn around mean that he only turn his body to see who is coming, not stand up from his seat (i was reading this book i found) -the teen shake his head then sigh (well then hurry up, we can't start unless you are there) -the.........."mean the main char->doesn't have name yet" (alright) -the ............ close the book and stand up and going to leave -upon the door he turn back and took the book with him -he close the door ______________________________ so the first sequence is the story of what the main char read^^ i dunno when i can post again, but i'm going to check things up as soon as i can and for the prologue, i still have blur image on the book of quasars and so does the book of twilight, but for the ending of the book of quasar, i already had it in mind, as for the book of twilight what i had is the start off ^^

@Key nice!very detailed we'll just be needing the artist to draw...wait ill just make the sketches then decide whether you like the sketches... bout the village, so you mean we can use the present time?

@ich um.... the villages is looks like what FF9 world is, mixed up with middle aged england, hm....they have houses with brick, no tall building, have windmill, have large open place planted with crops, normal agriculture village for the time line, or what era, since i'm creating alternate world, i still haven't thought about making date and years name^^, just generally say. you can refer the time on my prologue post. well then i'm goig too log off, i'll update, answer and check tomorrow^^

I'm going to see if I can have some nice photoshop addons like gradient tools such as manga effects XD the program I've downloaded called, Manga Studio was a trial version T_T and it doesn't have any serial code thingy that I can hack into. I'll try to see if I can find a bitorrent file of a hacked program. WOOT! I've been trying SO MANY things lately! I mean, right now I'm practicing flash animation, testing out my newly downloaded Photoshop CS2, now I'm going to try manga effects! Lol!!! |
