4) I will not transcode the files to anything but the quality I like to watch myself. What do you mean you can't watch them perfectly? Avi, mkv has pretty good quality if you ask me for the filesize.

1. since we cant share licenced song, can user share home made MIDI's instead MP3? 2. is there lyrics page available for licenced song? (i tired to open many other web pages T-T) 3. are you have cooperation to any (all about) 'ANIME & MANGA & JAPAN' sites? 4. since the EPISODES section ate too much bandwidth, why (sheep) does't any conversion to smaller video file like RM or FLV? i think users will approve this (with fair quality)... instead we can't even see them perfectly because huge file size (AVI, MKV)...

1.) I was just wondering, Gendou, if you could add anything to the site without worrying about RAM and the cost of paying for the site, what would you add? 2.) Out of curiosity, what kind of music do you like? I just wonder because you have this wicked site of all kinds of music.... You don't have to answer that if you don't want to >< (obviously, you don't have to do anything, but yeah) 3.) I saw that you have other profiles such as Jesus, Charlie the Unicorn and Pedo-bear. @calvin: Can you make one? A bot trap? For your own website? Do you have to ask my permission for that?!? @Lady Maia: 1. no. i included that so as to better identify songs that were added under old rules. 2. no. this sounds processor and database intensive, but i will add it to the to-do list.

The bot trap is simply a link that is not visible in any web browser, yet is recognized by web crawling software. The bot trap page is designated as off limits by the robots.txt file. Any software that disobeys the robots.txt file, and is not user driven, will fall into the trap, and be IP banned automatically. Users such as yourself don't have to worry because the link is not visible, and will therefore not be clicked on by accident. There is no option to remove the link from the page, and I do not plan on adding one, as it would defeat the purpose entirely.

@Eureka: Yeah, as long as it doesn't autoplay and go over the profile size limit. From the FAQ: Yes, but only MIDI files. MP3 files take up a lot of bandwidth and you are limited to 1MB of external content for your profile (that includes images, mp3s, etc.). Also, do not have any auto-start music or sounds on your profile, please. @Izumo: I'm always on multiple computers (currently home). When I'm at the family store, there are three computers I could use, depending on which is available, and then there's my PSP.... I haven't had any problems yet... Most of the time, I'm only on one (or a computer and PSP), but I sometimes am on two at once for awhile, mostly when I'm changing computers and I'd like to "Stay in chat" (lol). -------------------------------- Gendou. Have you ever considered using another "character" as representation of yourself (someone else in your avi, maybe different name), maybe just for change or confusion. ; ) And on that note, did you have any different name ideas for this site?

I was just going to point out that the reason that imeem will play automatically is because people want it to. Since that made no sense, I took a screen shot: So, as long as we don't click there, can we still use songs from imeem in our profiles? |

So stll being logged on with multiple computers (not on purpose) is not a problem unless someone else other than myself uses the account. Uhhh.....hopefully nobody at work realizes that...thanks for the info Gendou-san. Again sorry if it causes any problems what so ever.  |

Thanks Sheep-san for the info....sorry i didn't thank you earlier. Another question.... This has happened to me quite often lately....I can log in to Gendou using multiple computers. I have my desktop, my laptop & the one i use at work on occasion. The question is...is there a way to log out if the computer i was using suddenly dies on me....it happens when i use my desktop. On occasion the internet connection will be cut while i'm still logged in. Do i have to wait until the connection is back running to log out. Also like yesterday when i hear that the server died..but i was still logged in using the computer at work....so i couldn't log out there. I think that IP address is still active. That's why i think that you may see multiple IP adresses....sorry if it may cause any problems. |

@ kattdesu I was able to edit my post after a thread was locked since I made a mistake on someone's name. I do think that the thread maker also have the power to delete his own thread. So it's possible~~
