well it might be a good idea, i recommend valkyrja or michiguy, and others, well you see, i was going to participate in animax award, and i make novel, but it hasn't finish yet, and because it's too long (probably, just in my mind) i gonna break them into part so here is the glimpse, or should i say the prologue, comment and critic is highly welcome and the story i want to post here is about the book of twilight, but it hasn't been written yet (i'm on my final exam this month and until next month T.T) _______________________________________________________________________- In the land of (……). There was a myth, a myth about three books that granted power to the one inherited the books, the books was, the Book of Quasars, the Book of Twilight, and the Book of Noir. These three books contains manuscript that once told to be a spell, or a secret that lead to treasure, or a map that lead to the wealthiest land ever, whatever the contain is, there was one thing that always the same, all who possessed the books will become a leader, a ruler, the almighty, with power beyond human and may exceeding God, with knowledge far beyond the universe, far more experience beyond the old timer, far more experience than the time itself, the bearer never get old, but the bearer can die, rumors has it that the books also cursed the bearer, in exchange for all the things, and yet the books choose it master, so that if one laid hand on it and not chosen, they would die. That was the well known myth, the one that are kind, the one that still easy to take, and the one that people like. But there are something that kept away from people, there are some secret about this books, there was a dark version, the underground version of the myth, the one that the kingdom tried to cover up, the one that they want to bury. And that particular one is the one that I want to tell, the story about the book of Quasars This is the proloque of the myth, _______________________________________________________________________ the bracket there is because i haven't found a proper name yet, suggestion are welcome

hmmmm....Good Story though...but im not convinced with this story...but for the artist, WITHOUT YOU would be suited for this one... what do you think guys? EDITED: Imppy, i have plenty of time this saturday, if possible pls view this post as often as you can..ill post replies as soon as there are replies...

@key What about....Land of Twilight..since there's a book named Book of Twilight. Or Land of Elkantin. About the story...well it's nice enough. And here's some of my old story. In the world named Accacia. There are 6 guardians that guard the stability of the world, they're Viraji The Eraser, Maxwell The Soul Tracker, Odnis Orbus The Guardian of Knowledge, Aethenon The Guardian of Elements, Sekundes The Guardian of Time and Elvyna the Sealer. All of the guardian task is to balancing the world and prevent it from a disaster that may destroy the world. But then, an omnipotent force called The Wave of Changing start to erase the existence of the world. The Guardians choose a man to stop The Wave since the guardian have no right to interfere with the world. And now the man, named Reivant Faulkner, have to start a journey to stop the disaster. With his companion he meet during his journey, together, they try to stop The Wave with the help of Guardians. HOw bout that ?   |

@Hearms: Nice story. If you can provide more background information such as era, backdrop, characters, etc, it would great boost my imagination. @Red:I see one problem with your description. If the guardians are "task is to balancing the world and prevent it from a disaster that may destroy the world", then how come they don't have "right to interfere with the world"? Wouldn't balancing the world be interfering the world? In general, I would like to know from the author what your vision is for your story. Here are some guidelines/questions you want to think about: What would your characters look like in general? (mood, ornament, hair, clothing, weapons, tool, etc) What does the landscape look like? (futuristic, ancient, space, tropical, desert, city, etc) Is there any mechanical stuff?(robot, flying machine, transportation, etc) I know I suck at mechanical designs but I ask this question anyways.  |

@without you Aha ! That's right! Guess i'll expalain it. The Guardian's task is "only" to balancing the world and prevent it from disaster. That's right. But, if something ever happen in the world (like disaster) they have no right to interfere the problems if they haven't granted a permission from their creator (like GOD or something like that). And since they haven't got the permission, they are unable to directly interfere cause each of them already have great responsibility. If they start moving to solve the problem, more chaos could happen because they must abandon their duty. Argh...if there's still something wrong. Please give some suggestion. For landscape, think about the land when technology (equal to steam age) and magic is exist (no mecha). There's land, water and air transportation (for air, it called Air Ship). For the city, i haven't think about it. The world is separated into 3 great Continent, The Sarvonia, Faruconia and Goltana. For Reivant Faulkner. He have : black hair, bright blue eyes and athletic body. for clothes.....umm he is a Hunter. So he bring a sword (katana shaped sword)and use brown vest (umm...try to mix Hunter and Swordman class at Ragnarok Online). For the rest, i still don't have idea. The original story is destroyed. |

STAFF the stories sent was great!^^ but is it possible for us to start first with our TEST type... think of this possibility...coping with a great stories must have their base...and for me, its too hard to make this in manga... *for the meantime, lets set up first for a simple story then We'll be starting for the REAL STORY...* As for our test type, we will need a not so long story....compose only of around 2~3 chapters so that we can finish it off once... hmmm....anyone can suggest? for the meantime KEY's & RED's stories would be set aside...after the completion of test type then we will proceed to the main story

alright...so far short stories can be found at Gendou City, some RPs might seem to have so many posts but literally most of them only composed of dialogues, if you'll summarize it then it would just be a very simple story ^^ let's ask Jon about it--so...PM him? Or something? |

The kingdom never become poor, the people live peacefully, crops are good, never failed to harvest, hunger and poverty are not in their dictionary, all due the knowledge, wisdom, and power that given by the books. The king also cared about his people, and the people loved their king, the story start from here, as by the common myth stated that because of greed the books lost its power and make the kingdom vanished from this world. But that’s not true, there are far more to it than just greed, something that has been plot for hundreds of year, something that been cover up for hundreds of year. Now the story will be told. These three books first appearance is never in any history or manuscript, even the oldest record that found it the oldest ruin does not know its origin. Just rumors that these books are given by God, or the ancient civilization that reside in these worlds left it here when they journeyed to outer space. Whatever the reasons is the fact that the books was exist and presence is enough. Well not for historian but for people that bless with it, rumors or folklore is enough. Long time ago the kingdom fell, not knowing the reasons, some say because of greed, majority agree. The advanced of the kingdom can still be seen nowadays. Some mechanical part left in the ruins, that long time ago stated as castle. Some archaeologist find it nostalgic when they saw the ruins, its still hold its former glory, but alas none can live there anymore, not because of the ruins, but the land there looks like being cursed, nothing can grow there, once that called wealthiest kingdom ever, now is a wasteland never end. And that was also why people find it not so hard to believe that the kingdom fell because of greed, they believe the books has been used for wrong doing, so the books cursed the kingdom. Where are the books now you asked? Well the last official record stated that when the kingdom sank, so does the where about of these books, but there are others rumors that no one dared to talk about, it say that the books vanished before the kingdom sank, some say the books was stolen and that’s why the kingdom sank. None of these have solid evidence, and none of these can be proved, but something is the same, the books gone, whatever the cause is the fact is that the books never found in the ruins where its supposed to be, well may be some drifters or archaeologist found them earlier, but there is no strange think or rumors happened, like some guy become really rich or smart or have heavenly power. None, so far has been rumored or told. So we can say that the books haven’t found their master or the chosen one. That’s the background story or more likely what cause the story The set of the world is like FF9 world looks like, or like gunXswords, they have some place that: Advance: have ports for ship, airship docks, tall building (not very tall) (i.e.FFXII) Middle: country side, like olden England, no tall building, have town hall and they already used brick Lower (nomad): they are the traveler bunch, build their hut, with hay or animal skin, even though they not advance, they are everywhere, and the do business too, they buy goods from one country and sell it in another. Transportation: airship, ship, carriages, animal’s back Char’s: - Little boy, appearance: normal farmer boy, short hair, wear normal farmer son. reference: middle age farmer cloth England - Little girl, appearance: normal village cloth for girl, long hair above waist. Reference: middle age villages girl England or wendy from gunXswords - ………….. main char’s: teenager age 19, wear village cloth, he is the son of the village elder, appearance: short hair, tall figures, gentle and kind, doesn’t have ill manner (normal guy) although he is the son of the village elder, because of the likelihood of a village that the people are close to one and another, the villagers is not awkward toward him, and he also do like other villagers do, with no exceptions. Have strong body due to farming, and train basic swords fighting from his old man. ________________________________________________________________________ same as before the ........... is the name, and i really sucks at it (^^;) so any suggestion?

@KEY EXCELLENT! I love the story! just wait till other staff's reply btw...what would be the result of the story...cant wait till the story is finished but I think there are parts that are missing....*Dont ask me...becoz I just feel it..* STAFF: I dont like to waste Key's story for our test type... I loved the story...lets think for simple test type...

I'll try to read the rest of the summary maybe tomorrow, it's already midnight here while I'm typing this XD but from the looks of it I think it's a great one for the official manga. Simple test types...eh...if only I'm good at storywriting XD |

@key: You have given me a lot of material to work with. I greatly appreciate it. I will do my best to come up with nice design for the characters and the landscape. I happened to have visited a ruin castle in England in January so I have something to base my drawing on. (Lucky!!^__^) |

@key Very nice...i like it Fot the name...i already suggest it...but oh well. The Land of Twilight (since there's book named Book of Twilight) or The Land of Elkantin. If you like it... @ich Simple story....the best story for short manga is about life, school or something like that. Hmm...story that revolves around school like Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu or romance like To Heart or even romance-comedy like Love Hina is good as the test. But it's up to you. |

this might sound weird but i think we should nix the the test story and just key's prologue as a pilot so we dont go off topic so much and its less work on everybody. if we keep 1 story then we dont have to transition to a different type of genre, timeline, character design, background, etc. you see what im saying?
