@Eureka yah well need multiple artist, but each artist differs...i'l take terror's ideas...try to split all the artist in two or three groups....^^ @Terror Of Death hmmmmm....editor...ok then settle...for the mean time you'll be the editor...but be sure to do your job ok? @ROQ ok! *I thought ROQ would apply as an artist...wah~~~~~* but its ok ^_-) @Yobo the front page designer will be me! hehehe joke....actually there would be a set of judges who will choose which artist would be placed on this section...you must send entry then the panels will be the one to decide... @Mitsukiru yes a storywriter!^^ WAITING FOR MORE ENTRIES! ^_-) btw i created a new thread so that this thread may not be random...click this link! @ Ich-san & Roq SWEEEET!!!! thanks guys for taking on my request....it is going to be so awesome to see other versions of Minako-chan! I keep a folder/portfolio of sorts of all the pics i've came across in my years (fanart i get from conventions/animation cells/anything that wasn't done by me exactly)....so like i said it will make a wonderful addition. So thanks in advance!!!!! *giddy like a school girl tee-hee* *note 1* Today is my day off & its nice to use this time to finish up a couple of the requests. In the process of shading Rabbit's pic & darkening the pic of Mitsukiru. I worked hard on both of these & i hope they turn out the way you two want it too. @ Mitsukiru & Rabbit i did a little bit of modification to your request...nothing major...they still meet the requirements...so i hope you don't mind. *note 2* The idea of a manga is a wonderful idea.....unfortunately however i'm gonna have to decline any participation in it. I would love to be a part of it there is no doubt. I just don't have the time or schedule to be much help....with work, my own manga that i've been working on for the past 4 years ( writers block right now T_T )....& other "obstacles" that occur. So i deeply apologize for this...*bows* *bows* *bows*....sorry to disappoint T_T. I wanna wish those who are involved the best of luck & much success....i'll be rooting for you all!!!!!!!!!!  |

I always like to do something different but not too out of the ordinary. I think I would choose either layout sketch or background. My coloring skill is not good enough to do front page design work. And I am not a good story writer. Besides, sketching doesn't require great detail. I think Eureka and Roq would be great for character design. It is too bad Izumo couldn't join us. I love everything you draw. I hope you still have time to be on Gendou. Your art really resonates with me. So, I decided that I would take sketch layout design.  |

@ Ben & ken & Ich-san Thanks for your concerns & understanding....again i'm so very sorry i can't participate in the Gendou manga...but i have absolutely no doubts that the project is in good hands with the likes of yourselves & the other very talented artists in this forum! I'll always be cheering for you all! Don't worry i'll still be online from time to time....i have requests to fulfill! Speaking of which...i just saw Ich-sans & Ryoko-sans pics for their respective requests! WOW!!!! WOW!!!! WHOA!!!! @#$%!!!!! Damn! I have to say i'm absolutely awestrucked & blown away by the pics. Ich-san that is one of the most impressive pics i've seen in a long time! So much detail! so much sense of POWER & force! the use of the motion lines really make the pic stand out on its own!!!! So awesome!!!! Congrats!!! that pic is.....WOW!!! Ryoko-san i'm also very impressed with the talent you've shown.....the Midori pic is so *school girl tone of voice* KAAAAWWWWAIIIIII!!! *ahem* Simple but still shows alot of emotion...the sense of innocence & playfulness in the pic! Even though the BoA pic is incomplete its sure something that is really spectacular...i suck at real-life style so i'm even more amazed by it! Finally the Alexis and Kairius pic is again simple but the emotion of it is there...sense of playfulness & innocence...same effect as the Midori pic. So glad that you're one of the staff at this thread.....^______^!!!!! Man...hard to follow that up.....i'll try my best...so here are my latest completed requests. *note* Mitsukiru....i'll have your request completed by this weekend....i modified the pics that i showed you before & is using my more detailed & complicated idea. hope it turns out the way you would like. So without further adieu...here are the pics...Gomen for the long post *bows* *bows* Requests for Rabbit & Ken now complete! Enjoy! @ Rabbit here is your pic of Dark with a rabbit on his head....i added Daisuke to the pic. In all honesty this was really difficult since i never saw the series before so i used a reference pic for it. It was a cool & cute pic & it was easier to do if i left Daisuke in the pic. Of course i added the bg, the rabbits & changed the expression of Daisuke to the pic. So i take NO credit for the main pic.....it was really difficult. I apologize its not an Izumo original....if i seen the series before maybe i would have hadd a better idea. 2 versions (regular & thumbnailed)  @ Ken Here is your pic of Train from Black Cat....again used a reference for the pic...mainly the pic in the background. The other pic i used a pose from another character (Vash from Trigun) but changed it into Train. Worked on it all day today after my morning shift at work....got home & finished it off. 2 versions (regular & thumbnailed)  Enjoy!...it was fun doing it! |

Thank you so very much Ich-san for your very kind words...i feel really humbled by them. I'm really happy & honored that you enjoy my artwork....but i should say the same to you as well!!! The way you use charcoal (which i find very difficult & messy :P) is so fluid & effortless! Which is why i feel so ecstactic that you decided to take on my request! I wanna thank you for that!!!! About your request....i've did some thinking about participating in the manga but i still hope you understand that cause of other duties i really can't be much use to you. Believe me i would absolutely LOVE to do what i can to help....so i'm very very sorry about it! I read some posts in the manga thread & i see that there are many people who would love to help make it a reality. I have no doubts that it would...if people are dedicated as you have shown! @ Ken I read your short message....you're very very welcome! It was fun & a challenge to do it & i'm glad you liked it as well. ^____^!!! I thank you also for the compliments but i'm far from being a "god"....i just do the best i can. Some of the artists that are in deviant art are by far way better than i am...makes my art look quite amateurish....i'm constantly amazed at what some people can do. I have no problems with that fact & i've accepted it a long time ago. Again thank you very much & i look forward to other projects you or others have in store for me....Now all i need is to finish off Mitsukiru's request XDD!!! |

@Izumo: I agree with you that there are some amazing artists and art on deviant art. But I think your humility makes your art that much more enjoyable. The phrase "arts for your heart" just pop into my head. As long as the arts we create is from our heart, it is a good art. |

@Ben & Ich-san Yeah...AMEN to that! Again i feel really humbled with your words...& i'm glad to hear you still enjoy my works despite of my humility....i tend not to get too worked up about things. I strongly agree that drawing from the heart is important....i don't know about you guys but i'm an emotional guy that wears his emotions on his sleeves....& occasionally i put that on paper. I wanna be a recognizable manga artist....it's been my life long dream....but i'm not in it for the fame or the money...i wanna do it to make people happy. If my art can do that i'm satisfied....that is my goal. @ dawntodusk My workload is not to bad...i have in fact one request on going...so i will be able to do your request....however i think i won't be the only one willing to take it up as well...Cagalli is a pretty likeable character ^___^. *question* would you like her more tom-boyish or more on the feminine side? |
