You know what, I suggest that's enough for ideas right now, there's so many ideas that most of you gave, probably it would be too much for gendou's game! [he doesn't even have any time to complete it], The ideas are helpful, so there's no more reason to give more...it would probably flood the game O_o [like, zomg] Probably questions are fine, but questions like, "gendou, when will the game finish? Gendou, when? Um, gendou, blah?" are out of place already @__@ it's just annoying, let's just wait until the game is done, AMEN. |

for monster aggro, i suggest you use the ones in most mmo's. the ones that arent very irritating like, medium class monsters become aggresive mostly to characters with lower level than theirs(with exceptions of course. i guess bosses and elites should be aggresive to anyone most or all the time). or you guys could think of more interesting ones. this game is 2d right? with snes graphics or something? lol, i really have no clue. sorry!

I think I got here too late to add ideas. But then again, with 8 pages to keep going through, I'll just believe that I won't have to add more ideas. Waiting is for the best. Besides, I have lots of time to kill.

well, i skip most part so if someone has mention it, so called-it sorry. new ideas: 1) novice rank1, 2, 3. (if there's a quest then we should know what level are proceeding) 2) sell port (for game members who want to make a little aid perhaps?) 3) weapon/armor without extra power (no combining/ no metal added. to ensure player are not *buyer*. that rid me too much) 4) if any metal added, that should have it's specifications (e.g: ice stone for snow staff, fire metal for fire sword.) 5) limitation on adding metal, just focusing on characters stat development. (e.g adding stone just increase around .1, .2 something on stats) 6) stats de-generation and re-generation. (maybe with some item as counteract) 7) also to make things easier, consider on limitating an account max player to-have. ok for classes: 1) silencer(well, this class is the regenerated class of assasin) - weapon:finger/stone/kunai; cloth:light-smooth-nearly-transparent; speed:2x-time-faster than assasin; jump:2x-timehigher than assasin; hp:half-of-assasin-max-hp; attack:half than the weaker classes; special-talent: may have advantages on the stroner class for the speed ability(base on stronger class may be slower), so be like speed is the focused elements. defensive+elemental system:so, adding the five element may add the chances of win/lose. *this gonna ensure no character is stronger than the other and what you have builds make-on you stats. |

if everyone's going to be equal in abilities there'd be no fun, what would be the point of a brawl if its gonna end in a tie? There need to be some semi-realism like fighters being able to crush casters and casters being able to crush fighters at a distance. If you'd really like a sound design just ask MMO players they are your best source of information. In Truth its what you feel your game needs to do or be, like if its gonna be for casual gamers then you can make flaws but if your going to be completely serious and want this to be a exciting game... well that all depends on you, keep it an open-ended game that players can be what they wanna be(race,gender, class and customization options as well) and do and have whatever they want(with limits of course, maybe leave a request submission post for ppl with ideas that *could* make the game more interesting) make the quests to be able to be re-done so that someone can work on it to work up the char's lvls and stats. Reward systems should be in plus to give players a reason to go on quests and do things other than PvP each other to death! speaking of PvP that should be limited to certain areas, so that PKers dont camp the newbie zone(if your going to have one) and just PK all the newbies! I dunno if Mounts were mentioned, I didnt read all the posts, but give them something to ride on, walking is getting really old really fast now. and for races keep core races: Human,Elf,Dwarf, etc. with some variations of them for the classes, and for players that like playing evil races like undead, dark elves, orcs, etc. also Level design, critical for some, you might want to restrict players from like say lvl 1 player goes into a lvl 99 zone, however leave the option of teleporting open to them, say like the lvl 1 is in a party to power lvl, then give them the option of taking the cannon fodder to an area to power lvl the poor guy and oh yea dont add death penalties, its not worth losing players for, and if you do exp loss should be limited to just losing a percent of the Exp recently earned and no lvl losses for goodness sake! the complaints that well established games get... oi... okay maybe I should stop now, before I burn yall's brains out with too much info! |

If it does turn out like Runscape, I agree with some other users that It should be rethought and redone so then it could be like nothing on the internet already or nothing closely related or anything. Also, as long as the characters get equal abilities at the start of their character in Gendou city then I think it should be fine. Update us with everything as you finish aspects of the game/RP so we can update our opinions.
