~Hotel~ Night and the others return to the hotel and, as they expected, the rest of the team is waiting for them at the lobby. A mountain of boxes can be seen right next to them. Since there are too many of them, the hotel workers takes some time to move it into the room. Meanwhile Dynast and the others are having quite a fashion show. Night: "Since when this turn into parade?" Dynast: "Wasp-san thank you for your generosity. There's so many thing that I dream of is here" Wasp: "Don't mention it" Night: "Are you listening?" ~Arena-Top Floor~ The old man sheath his katana and stand still in front of Night as if he was mocking Night. Night circle the old man and start the fight by throwing Slipstream knife towards the old man but as Night dash towards him, the old man catch the knife and throw it back to Night with a violent force that make Night to block it with his whip. Wasp: "What power...that's a normal throw" Night knock down the knife with his whip but before he can do anything the old man emerge in front of him and use his sword's hilt to knock Night backward. He then slash Night violently and all Night can do is block the attack. As his last retaliation Night make a barrier of whip slash to defend himself. The old man then move away from Night. Old Man: "Good, you can keep up with my attack...but...I can see your whip can't" *Night's whip was torn and crumble in his hand* Old man: "Boy...you're quite skilled but your weapon can't keep up with your skill. Tell me, why did you need the Crimson Jewel?" Night: "I need it for my new weapon...the Nexus Salamander" Old man: "Nexus Salamander, a good weapon, but Crimson Jewel is not the perfect item for it. There's a slot at the hilt of that whip and 2 holes for the enhancement stone" Claw: "You knew about it" Old man: "What it's need is another version of stone, The Sun Emperor Stone and Red Emperor Card...but I heard it was extinct quite a while ago" Night: "What!!?...then.." Old man: "Don't worry, I have it in....here" *open his hand and two glowing item appear* Wasp: "How much does it cost?" Old man: "Nothing...just take it" Night: *take the items* "Thank you but I didn't beat you" Old man: "It's okay, here take this scroll too, you might learn something from it" Night: "Thank you" Old man: "Now go...I relieve that the thing is in a good hand. good bye" *Night and the others walk down towards the arena lobby and see the announcer is still there* Announcer: "Ah Professor, sorry, the one who suppose to watch the weapon shop just call. She said that something came up and she will be here in a moment. When I first call, she thought you need it tomorrow" Night: "But, I just found the old man who look after the shop...and you're right, he almost kill me" Announcer: "Wait...the staff who look after the shop are women and they're picky when it come to price, bad enough that you feel like dying right at that moment. I tell you, there's no old man there" Night: "Then...who's the old man" |

Hono's side: Hono: It's okay... If it's slightly bigger - it's better that way - lower chance of clothes interrupting the movements. Hono enters some building, intending to change cloth. Hono: Don't peek, okay? Not that i mind or anything, just that... it's not something most people would like to see. Having said that, Hono went inside. (The events happened in the alley between several tall multilevel buildings, however most of them were abandoned due to gang wars happening in the area. Police tried to fight gangs, but after several squads were crushed, had to abandon the area. So, not many people live here anymore. Those streets are known as Shadow Tokyo. Streets where law's not a rule. However, civilians, living in there are relatively safe, since those gangs have rules of their own) In a couple of minutes Hono came out, wearing new cloth. Her own tail was bent around her waist and used as a belt. Hono: Gotta find new clothes later, but those would suit for now. I'll try to give it back unharmed. And i've packed my old cloth in a bag, so i can wash them later. Although i doubt you can wash all of this off... By the way, it seemed that someone's coming... From both sides that is. Seems like another gang from one side, while two people are coming from other. Kaze's part: Kaze: I see... is that some kind of a secret then? Don't be mean, i want to know more about you (Kaze smiled for a bit, then got serious again). Actually it's just that i believe we'll be working together sometimes, so i wanted to know my companions. I know that you haven't asked, but i guess i should say something about me and Hono then. I think we already said that we're from Kaze no Tani, a small town east of here. Don't remember if i mentioned that our parents were killed long ago, when horde of monsters raided the town. The town was protected back then, but only few survived. We were taken by the hunter's guild. When we got a bit older, we got responsibilities of obtaining food for the town. I used a crossbow to hunt, while Hono laid traps. That's part of a reason of us being skilled in it. However, that's not all. We believed that something like this might happen again, so we were training. I practiced my shooting skills and studied explosives - my father had a library, so i had enough books to learn about them... and i had several dummy grenades, so i could practice them too. Hono was studying traps in the same library, while practicing martial arts of her own family. And not a while ago another horde of monsters attacked our town. Due to last time, there weren't many, who could guard the town, so they were all captured. We found out that it was led by a single man later and managed to kill that man. But it seemed that he wasn't alone. Both Hono and me believe that last attack was led by those guys as well, so... our trip's sorta like a revenge too... Oh, i can see Hono and Snake now. Or i think it's them... |

~Arena-Top Floor~ As Night and his the others enter the top floor, they can see a shop in front of them. The sign clearly said it's the Weaponry shop, so Night quickly enter it. An old man is standing at the entrance looking at them. From the looks of it, the old man is a veteran fighter. Night approach the old guy and show the Lex's Arena Shop Card. The old man look at it but silently, the card suddenly was cut into two and Night's face was bleeding. Realizing that his life is threaten, Night jump backward and take out his whip. Night: "What are you doing?" Old man: *look at Night's whip* "Silver Serpent, weight 5 kg, made from iron silk by the snakeling women to protect themselves while they're in war. Ability, sonic whip and counter area. Skill is unknown. Max speed 100km at max, for long-range only. Too bad, that whip is a pice of junk" Wasp: "Wait, why are you doing this?" Old man: "You come for the Crimson Jewel right. It's one of the priceless item in this shop. Getting it require a special condition" Claw: "and the condition is? Old man: "Defeat me in a battle. That's all" Claw: "is that necessary?" Night: "Fine, if I manage to beat you, you'll give us the Crimson Jewel right?" Old man: "Yes" Night: "Okay then, let's have a fight" |

Hono's side: Hono: Dress, huh... actually Alisa's kinda smaller than me, so her size won't fit. And i usually wear man's clothing, so do YOU have spare clothing? Dress is really bad for martial arts. And i wouldn't want to ruin Alisa's dress (Hono smiled). And yeah, we'll wait here. All this kinda wore me out - Felian Fury pushes my body beyound the limits. Kaze's side: Kaze: Ah, sorry... you know i'm bad at directions when i'm in towns. So, that's where we should go. We should hurry then. However we're not so far away from them i think... Meanwhile - let's talk. I've wondered, how'd you meet this Jack guy... he seemed to know Snake by his past. And why are you two travelling. We said a lot about ourselves i think, but never heard much about you two. |

Snake's side: By the time Snake was playing Russian Roulette, Hono already got rid of her group and was standing on a pile of decapitated bodies, covered in blood and grinning, like some kind of maniac. As soon as Snake let the last remaining guy go, Hono followed that guy. Her running seemed like that of a wild panter or tiger. She caught up to him and slashed him with her claws in a way, that a cat would do. The next moment she got back on her feet and turned around. She was already calm, as before the battle. Hono: Snake, do you have a spare clothing? This one reeks of blood. Felian Fury, the mode that only few Felians have, due to especially strong mutation. Despite making the Felian himself go berserk without any mercy, it ends the moment all opponents are dead. Hono: Sorry for unpleasant sight. But i guess it helped me avoid injuries. I can't really contol myself in that state, but i don't mind it coming out. However it's too bad i killed the last survivor... this way there's noone to spread rumors... Guess we'll just have to wait until some other team comes and boast a bit. Sorry for this. Kaze's side: Kaze: Actually i don't think that Hono can get in danger. She's much more composed and quite stronger than me... but i still have this bad feeling... Emm... Alisa-chan, am i heading the right way?... ... ... ... Can you please lead? ~Tokyo-Arena~ Night enter the arena entrance and head straight to the announcer's table. There he found the same announcer than host his first match. If Night remember correctly, according to Lex, there's an arena shop that specialize in weaponry. He came to search that one. Announcer: "Oh, I see, you want the Crimson Jewel....if I remember, the shop does have that in it's item list...let me confirm this first..." *take out a cellphone and start dialling* Night: "Thank you.." Wasp: "If I remember, I need the Black Onyx too for my new tonfa" Claw: "From the way I heard, you all spend quite a lot" Night: "Yup, but all expenses was paid by Wasp-san" Announcer: "Ah, this is your lucky day professor...they still have it. I told them to reserved that one for you" Night: "Thank you again for your kindness" Announcer: "Hehehe...don't worry about it" Wasp: "I think we better go now" Announcer: "Take this stair and head to the top floor. the Shop is right in front of the stair. But be careful, the old man that run that shop is a little weird, I hope you come back alive" Night: "Okay, we'll try to remember. See you later" *Walk to the stair and start climbing* |

Hono's part: Hono: I said i don't care about my opponent's lives, but this'll be just a massacre. Having corpses on our account can become troublesome... At that moment, a bullet hit the ground near Hono. Hono: Forget what i just said... if they use guns... Let's massacre! Having said that, Hono jumped back and hid behind the corner. The moment someone reached the place she was standing on, he got cut in half by a bear trap. About 6 got killed the same way, but then they finally managed to stop... moreover, there were no traps anymore. When they stopped, Hono jumped out and began cutting them with claws. Her eyes got red and she had really beastial expression. That was known as Felian's Fury. The state that Felians reach when their fight turns into a massacre... and they turn the ordinary massacre into a bloodbath. Kaze's part: Kaze: Well yeah... and i have a bad feeling somehow. I think they might need our help soon... although who knows... Alisa-chan, you're coming? Jack-san, good luck. Having said that, Kaze went outside. |

~Street~ Night, Claw and Wasp enter their vehicle and continue their way to the Arena. Having see the documents that Claw bring, he finally manage to pinpoint something. The trail that suppose to be hidden have finally open thought Night. With this he can start hunting. Night: "Claw-san, are you sure this information is accurate" Claw: "100% sure" Night: "We've been chased long enough by these asssasin, it's time to pay them back" Claw: "But first we require strengthening ourselves first, if you see the list, there's group which mean some of them is teaming with the others unlike your comrade Heize who act alone" Wasp: "The one in the red is supposed to be the dangerous one right?" Claw: "Yes, they're the big name in this game including Heinze" Wasp: "But...there's too many of them" Night: "No matter, we target the easy target first unless we do this, we can't move on to the next town" Wasp: "I guess you're right" Night: "I think I can see the arena's entrance. Let's stop here" |

Snake's side: Snake:Let see.....30 people....I can easily take them down with a full C-Mag loaded M4,but that'll be unfair for you.....If we take them on,we'll be taking quite a hit,and without Alisa around,it's a bit difficult.On the other hand,if we use guerrilla tactics,it'll take a while,but at least we won't take as much damage.... Alisa's side: Alisa:I see.....Claymores were built in the same way.Unless you're at its enemy side,it'll never affect anyone from the sides and back,so it's safe and you don't have to worry about the risk being blasted that way. Jack:But those mines didn't produced much in the military markets anymore,do they? Alisa:Exactly.But there's always another way to make your own,though not as good as Claymores.Trip wire grenades,for example. Jack:Trip wire grenades?That's a old trick. @T.M: Don't worry, since you're not involved with anyone's plot - you can take as much time off as you want :) Hono's side: Hono: Don't waste your ammo - it's hard to come by... or so i'd say, but i guess this can be evaluated as a training of a sort, or warming up. Because we have more visitors. Guess those guys who left back then called... three more teams... so... two against thirty... want to take them on, or let's run away and use guerilla tactics? Kaze's side: Kaze: Claymore? No way i can come across something this valuable - those mines are rare nowadays... no, it's simplier... can't remember correctly how i did it, but it's more like a rifle right now. There are three small packs of explosives in there... kinda weak ones, but it's more than enough for a human. And you see those cords or something, following along my arm from the glove to some kind of bracelet around my arm? That braclet has three slots for gunpowder - one for each explosive. So, as i said - it's similar to revolver - gunpowder sets off explosives and shots out a bit of impact and fire from the glove. The reason why it goes only one direction is simple - other directions are blocked by the glove itself... it's kinda... reinforced a lot, and has rubber layer inside, so the impact from explosion and heat, given to the metal won't hurt my arm... i wouldn't like using all three explosions without cooling down interval though... Well, something like this... anyway, what're our plans? Waiting here or teaming up with Snake? |
