sachiel...i think you misunderstood my again...i AM outgoing, but i am not alowed to go anywhere except school because of my PARENTS not because i choose to...now ill admit, im shy when i se a girl that i want to meet, but it happens so rarly that the shyness is understandable because i go to an all guys school. i just don't see how a guy can just walk up to a girl and start talking and sometimes even get a number or a date out of it! like what are you supposed to say to a girl that is sitting in the library reading a book? or a girl walking in the mall?...i guess i just don't get it... like take this senerio...this summer, i am going to go to the rec center about twice a week to swim and work out (mostly swim)...so what do i do if i see a pritty girl swimming? or just chilling? i have no idea what to even say! she will probibly think i am talking to her just because she is in a bikini or something...i dont want to seem like a pervert. but it would be nice, i guess...even if it is just to have a person to swim with for an hour or two...  |

| "Hi" is a good place to start. after that act as if you were talking to a guy, you'll feel more comfortable and you never know, you may just find someone while looking, which is rare. |

Ninja, the last time that I tried talking to a woman like she was a guy to get over shyness I was slapped in the face, and soon after had to beat several people to pulp because I was apparently "hitting on their girl" What I am trying to say is that I don't think that overlooking the fact that one person is a female to avoid shyness is a very smart thing for too many people to do. Try to face the fact that such a person is a fine woman, and deserves to be treated as one. I always found that giving a gift to the person that you like is a good start, even if they don't understand why you did so, or don't know how to accept the gift that you have offered |

Together we Ranger and Rin Ranger Ninja, I have that manual and one for the air force along with a dozen others. My books are written for the absolute novice who gets himself into trouble plaing in the desert or out for a hike who gets lost. The idea is to keep him alive with th ebasic 10 kit for at least 3-5 days in a place where most don't even make it beyond 24 hours after that their dead. I don't talk about anything that requires skills beyond half a dozen knots, the ability to make a fire, basic shelter and using a knife without cutting yourself. If you stip my day pack you will generally find between 5-7 knives including an extra 6in sheath knife. Nightmare remember when Ri and I met neither of us was looking for anything. We didn't have aything in common and a lot that we now like we learned from each other. It took time for Rin to get use to watching anime. Rin You do learn from each other. You also find there are things that you will do for the other even if you don't like them. Eventually you find similar tastes. Still There are things Ranger watches and does that I don't and vice versa.  |

I guess I was a little off... ^_^; I just assumed that you weren't outgonig for some reason... but why...? Maybe my small understandings of gothic stuff... >_< I must learn why >_< I almost never read books, though my mom got a really cool book on light that I'm enjoying reading... All I need now is more Ender books and I'll be off my computer for a while ^_^  |

Nightmare if you find a girl like that you have a rival. I agree with ROQ. I really have no specific kind of girl I like. I wouldn't want someone exactly like me, however I wouldn't want someone completely different either. Just the basic requirements are, as Nightmare would put it, no Detroit like girls, etc. DNinja the reason my mask works so well because my hair covers my eyes. He also said the fact that I didn't move any part of my body at all. I mumble most of my words too. Though if I were actually talking to you Dninja I wouldn't have a mask. I would laugh when I try putting on my mask on in front of you. Anyways I am starting to get rid of my mask, I have had my mask off in the past year more then my entire life all together. And lets not forget this psychiatrist was a half-assed loser who could care less about me or any of his other clients for that matter. Animeangel wouldn't make it well in the military. She would be a casualty before she even gets to basic training. I can so relate to Nightmare on this one. I see girls that at least look somewhat cute. I would like to talk to them and see if they are the kinda of girl I would like, but have no means to. What am I suppose to say? Hi! You aren't a slut are you? Do I scare you? Do you wanna be in an everlasting relationship? Do you like anime? Did I come on too strong? I can't even get the step of saying hi, so the rest is nothing to worry about. I could talk with any stranger easily, just starting it is the hard part. If I just had a reason too... I try looking for reasons to start a conversation, but there is so little conversation starters around and so little opprotunities. conversation with girls?i had this problem everytime i'm at the fastfood joint.whenever the person at the counter is a girl close to my age,i find it EXTREMELY difficult to even place an order and ended up ordering the wrong food...or when some girl ask for a donation for some charity organization,or at that time when some cute foregin chick ask me for directions to the nearest library...i'll get tongue tied and will have tough time talking... i dun really have that much experience with girls,so i guess i can understand what nightmare's talking about... @jomunga,Detroit like girls?wazzat?? |

Well, mabey it's just me but I talk to every one the same with a few exceptions, namely girls I'm attacted to. By attacted to I mean could potentially see myself marry. Other than that girls have no effect on me. Mabey it's because I didn't talk to them for 3 years, missed that whole embaressed in front of them deal. Guess I'm lucky then, also would explain the whole not caring thing. Mei, alright! Sero isn't going to kill us from asking to use your name. Nightmare, Wish your Dad a happy birthday. I think my school has one of the largest goth/capita totals ever. Every 5 or 6 people you see going down the halls is one, or at least fit the profiles, hate to be judgemental but that is how the brain works. Well the moods pretty light at the moment so this calls for an extra special joke.  A young businessman had just started his own firm. He rented a beautiful office and had it furnished with antiques. Sitting there, he saw a man come in to the outer office. Wishing to appear the hot shot, the businessman picked up the phone and started to pretend he had a big deal working. He threw huge figures around and made giant commitments. Finally he hung up and asked the visitor, "Can I help you?" The man said, "Yeah, I've come to activate your phone lines." |
