[The Undine] As Malvin returned, Ryuu smirked, as the phrase he was about to say was pretty absurd. Ryuu: Boss, your captive has evaporated. Don't ask me how. It doesn't look like we'll have to fight that ship, so how about we just watch and relax. As he mentioned someone being poisoned, he said more, though this time not directed to anyone. Ryuu: It's the second poisoned person already. Well, considering the opponents were using poisons, it's obvious that more than one will get toxified. I never really dealt with poisons much - I have good resistance to them to be able to just grit my teeth. As for curing others, I usually rely on my companions for that. Come to think of it... Ryuu looked around, found a small crack in the floor and inserted his shield's spike in there. That way he barely did any damage to the ship, he didn't want to make extra holes in it after all. Now his shield was standing on a spike, supported by Ryuu, sitting on a single knee next to it. Ryuu: Sorry for expanding that hole, I just want to be able to deploy barrier any time if they decide to start shooting at us. |

@All - Alright, sorry for the delay in posting. I was waiting for Anke's character, but Anke hasn't been around all month, so I'm going to have to move on since she isn't likely to be back soon by the looks of it. I've had another member show interest in joining, although they've never posted in the forums before. I'm still working with him/her to get their character in order however. We'll see how that turns out. [Usha Anarchy - Shore] The older gentleman noticed the people on the boat hesitating and talking among themselves. He chuckled a little and placed his hand on the shoulder of the soldier in front of him, gently moving him out of the way. "They are apparently as fearful of us as where are of them. I will go and speak with them myself." The soldier tried to move back in front of the man as he attempted to get past. "Sir, you know we cannot allow you to do that." The man continued on his way slowly, tapping the soldier to his left with his cane. "Yes, and you know that when it comes to the Aigle Children we are permitted to act as we see fit if it means that we are able to rescue even one of them." The man made his way to the ship and began to board. [Usha Anarchy - Undine] Miranda was continuing to glare at Zen in response to her remark, but turned her attention back to the shore when she noticed movement in the corner of her eye. "Looks like we won't have to lift a finger after all. Grandpa seems to have some guts. You know that guy pipsqueak?" Ezio shook his head, but continued to smile. "I don't know him, but I know he won't hurt us." "The young lad is correct. I wasn't a threat to you back in my younger days, so I'm definitely no threat now." The man had finally reached the group and was now resting himself on the railing. Despite the fact that he was moving slowly to the ship, he still appeared exhausted. Ezio happily ran over to the man and greeted him. The older gentleman then looked back to the group with a big smile on his face. "I would like to thank all of you for helping this young boy. Our country has been searching desperately for years to try and find children like him." Miranda raised her eyebrow as the man mentioned the other children. "Wait, you mean there are more Avirian kids like him wandering around down here? What the hell are you guys doing up there?" The gentleman sighed and ran his hand through his hair. "I'm afraid I can't discuss those things with your people. At least not at this moment. I can tell you that someone, or a group of people, have been abducting our children over the past few years. As you are all well aware, our people do not have nearly as much physical prowess as you. We have only been able to stand idly by over the years as the sons and daughters of our people have disappeared. Mercenaries have never yielded any results, and our personal war with the Aigle's Gale Guild means that their support is out of the question." Miranda shifted her gaze down to her body, double checking to make sure that she had removed the guild emblem from sight. "That is where I am hoping that you all may be of assistance. Young. . .Ezio, correct?" Ezio nodded as the man confirmed his name. "If Ezio here can recall his journey or any details about his captors, then we may be able to find more of the missing children. If I can secure the permission of the government, then might you all consider assisting us in this matter? Bombing the culprits would be out of the question, for obvious reasons, and I'm afraid that our people do not have much of a chance in heavy combat. I ask you only because Ezio trusts you." |

|| Usha Anarchy - The Undine - Topmost Rigging || Zen Kaizer || Zen's laughter subsided as an elderly man caught the attention of the group. They watch him curiously and cautiously. They listened intently to the elder as he tell some good information. Omon quirked her eyebrow as she glance to all the people around her. She couldn't let this chance slip as she thought of helping and joining the group. "If Ezio here can recall his journey or any details about his captors, then we may be able to find more of the missing children. "Well this kid can really cause some trouble but the abduction of Avirian children is a the issue, then we can help you guys, right?" Zen asked, not too sure if she's getting it right. She thought that maybe it has something to do with the people of the Avirian. |

Yoroshiku. ----------------------------- [Unknown time and date - Principality of Avira - Low-orbit islands] Crunch. Crunch. Crunch. The sound of dirt and stones on the ground being crushed with every footstep resounded deeply in the ears of the group of men. The men stopped near the edge of the island, where it was a long, long way down. One of the men adjusted his glasses, cleared his throat then spoke up. "This class is a failure. We're to dispose of it. Down there, where it may never be found." The man pointed down, as the other men gathered around and looked down at where he was pointing at. There's no way she could survive this fall...the men thought. One of them summoned his courage to ask, "Why do we need to do this? The children are disappearing, we could use her...!" "Listen, a failure is a failure. They won't stand for using it.", was the reply. It, huh...the men thought as they turned around to look at the boxy, slow and red object they were escorting to the edge of the island. It...blinked. It had no expressions, only silently staring at the horizon with its deep blue eyes. "It's time.", the man with glasses muttered. Crunch. Crunch. Cru- "Ah...", it muttered. The view was suddenly filled by the pale blue sky, and the bottom of the floating island. It was getting smaller and smaller, further and further away. What's happening..., it thought. Then her view was obscured by white, whiteness of clouds. No...no!, it thought. It spoke. "Tesla Drive...!" As a strong gust of wind blew through Aigle, if one looked up into the sky at that particular time, they could've seen a red speck falling through the sky, glittering with green. ![]() |

[Usha Anarchy - The Undine] Alaric had listened intently at the old man, when the old man finished Alaric walked to the dock, leaving his sword behind. He walked to the old man, but stopped few steps in front of him. Alaric: I can't really talk for my passengers, but I would be ready to assist you... He grinned as he continued. Alaric: By all accounts it seems like it will be quite an adventure... and getting paid never hurts either. He offered his hand to the old man. Alaric: Alaric Boreas captain of The Undine. |

[Malvinder Leonheart] After putting Elnica, Malvin wandered back onto deck to see that a representative of the Avirian ship was speaking to everyone. He then leaned on a wall and listened in. "I would like to thank all of you for helping this young boy. Our country has been searching desperately for years to try and find children like him." Miranda raised her eyebrow as the man mentioned the other children. "Wait, you mean there are more Avirian kids like him wandering around down here? What the hell are you guys doing up there?" Malvin snorted and moved from his spot on the wall. He walked up to the captain while speaking, Malvin: "Eventhrough I have completed my promise to Ezio, I am still technically, on 'vacation'. As I have absolutely no plans of being bored out of my skull, I might as well sign up. Else I would probably end up at my home fishing or something like that." He stopped near Alaric and spoke, "This way, I will be doing something productive. Malvinder Leonheart, Lucine Royal Guard Captain at your service." Eventhrough his face was emotionless, Malvin's mind was in overdrive and making plans to copy some Avirian tech while he was with them. He then lifted his thumb over his shoulder and pointed to Ryuu. Malvin: "My underling over there will join us too if he knows whats good for him...and I cant speak for Elnica who is still out of it in the sleeping quarters. [Undine] Ryuu was silently listening to conversation, considering his own actions. However, it seemed that his actions were already decided, when Malvin pointed at him. Malvin: "My underling over there will join us too if he knows whats good for him...and I cant speak for Elnica who is still out of it in the sleeping quarters. Speaking of which, *looks around* has anyone seen Wingshadow and Seybold? Ryuu raised his brow, as he didn't really like being called underling, especially since technically he was a leader of a squad, even though that squad had no members. Despite Malvin being his superior in rank, he wasn't his leader, more like a temporary commander, like when several squads unite. Though that wasn't the time to complain, so Ryuu decided to ignore it for now. Ryuu: Yes, I will join you. My orders were to assist Malvin-sempai(sempai is a sarcastic title that Ryuu gave Malvin. Despite being technically correct, the way Ryuu calls Malvinder is more of a nickname, which is clear because he doesn't use his full name). Therefore, Ryuu Akumu, captain of Lucine Military, likewise, at your service. I might not be good at reading atmosphere or using tricks, but if you need a frontal assault, you can rely on me. |

Liel Vanguard [Usha Anarchy - Undine] The situation changes when an elderly gentleman approaches them, despite one of the Avirian guards stopped him. "Looks like we won't have to lift a finger after all. Grandpa seems to have some guts. You know that guy pipsqueak?" Miranda asked Ezio with a witty tone. Ezio shook his head slightly, before replying to her. "I don't know him, but I know he won't hurt us." Soon, the gentleman joined in the conversation. "The young lad is correct. I wasn't a threat to you back in my younger days, so I'm definitely no threat now." Liel relaxed herself shortly after that comment and looked at the old man, as he rests on railing, while Ezio happily greets him. The elderly gentleman gave a big smile at the group. "I would like to thank all of you for helping this young boy. Our country has been searching desperately for years to try and find children like him." "Wait, you mean there are more Avirian kids like him wandering around down here? What the hell are you guys doing up there?" Miranda questioned the old man, shockingly. Liel also wondering the same, thinking why such a secretive country would have its children being abducted away to Aigle. The elderly man ruffled his hair, before answering to the question. Like Miranda, Liel also making sure that she had hidden her Aigle Gale Guild's emblem from the Avirians. Later, the old man asked the group, to assist them on their search for the missing Avirian children. Zen agreed, and soon the captain of the Undine offered his hand to the man, acknowledging that he will help him on his mission. The Lucine officers also agreed to help as well. Liel pondered for a sec, before asking Miranda's opinion. "This sounds risky but, we have gone too far to quit now..." Liel paused a bit. "So, I'm joining this time." ![]() ![]() |

@Everyone - Alright, we've stalled out a bit in terms of progress, so it's time for a small time skip to hopefully restart the RP. @Destiny - Sorry it has taken so long to get moving. I didn't think the post count would drop so suddenly. [Usha Anarchy - Undine] Miranda was hesitant at first, unsure of whether or not to trust the older gentleman. If he knew that some of them were members of the AGG, then this could simply be a way to take out a few of them. Before she had time to really think things over however, several of the others expressed their interest in helping with the situation. "Well, I guess I would look pretty heartless if I said no, especially considering that everyone else seems so eager to jump in. Alright, consider me on board." The group had agreed to lend a hand to the Avirians for the sake of the children. After a long conversation between the older gentleman and the men accompanying him, they were cautiously let on board the airship, although they were kept in the cargo hold. The room was kept heavily guarded and under intense watch for the entirety of the relatively short trip. Ezio assisted the crew members with tracking down the location of the compound, and it did not take long for the airship to reach it's destination. The elderly gentleman once again approached the group to fill them in on what was about to happen. [Skies above Lucine - Remote Location] "I must apologize for the harsh treatment, but you must understand that it is a big enough risk as it is even allowing you all to board the airship." Miranda was leaning against the wall with her arms crossed as she responded. "No big deal. I don't think any of us were actually expecting anything luxurious, given who we are dealing with." The old man chuckled a little, but coughed halfway through. He cleared his throat as the large door to the cargo area began to open. A series of buildings surrounded by high, dense walls could be seen below. "Now then. I'm afraid that we will be of no use during this raid. Our airship will be able to punch a hole into the complex, but we cannot continue firing after that, as it would put the children in danger. You will have to enter through the hole we will make, and find the children on your own. According to young Ezio, the buildings you see below are empty, and the actual base is below ground. He does not know the layout, so we have no information for you as to where you should begin looking. We do not have much time however, according to the events which happened just a little while ago. I'm sure we have made it here ahead of that group, but I cannot be sure of how much longer it will take them to get here. If they do get here while this mission is ongoing, then you all could be in for a much tougher fight than the one in Usha. I do not fault any of you if you wish to change your mind, after all, it is you who are risking their lives to save a group of children from a country that none of you have even seen. For those of you that are going, I thank you again for your courage, as well as your assistance in this matter." Miranda shoved off the wall and went to the edge of the room to look at the buildings below. A loud cannon was heard nearby and an explosion was seen shortly after, leaving a massive crater near one of the walls. The ship then seemed to move closer to the ground, nearly landing. "I'm still game. Anyone else? Life threatening battles with spooky masked women?" |

Princess would be surprised to know how much is going on behind the scenes here. He listened to conversation of old man and a woman, apparently the leader of their party, at least that's what Ryuu assumed. If he remembered correctly, her name was Miranda. Eventually the conversation reached its conclusion. Miranda: I'm still game. Anyone else? Life threatening battles with spooky masked women? Ryuu smirked and got a better grip of Requiem. Ryuu: Are you kidding me? A fight with strong people, that are clearly bad guys. Why should I refuse. [Malvinder Leonheart][Sky's Above Lucine] Malvin was leaning on the side of the flying ship's deck as he enjoyed the cool breeze of Lucine. 'Home...I feels good to be back...' Ryuu: "So we're back to Lucine, huh. Princess would be surprised to know how much is going on behind the scenes here." Malvin: "Indeed. Once we bury these fools we'll invite everyone back to the palace for some relaxation and so I can make a quick report to her." Behind him the captain described their mission of attacking the location of the child kidnappers while Malvin listened in. "I do not fault any of you if you wish to change your mind, after all, it is you who are risking their lives to save a group of children from a country that none of you have even seen. For those of you that are going, I thank you again for your courage, as well as your assistance in this matter." Malvin snorted at his words, "Only a coward would change their mind from an attempt to save children. If I meet such scum I'll run them through myself." As they watched the mini-fortress below, the attacked commenced with some bombardment on the walls. The ship began to lower itself as Miranda spoke, Miranda: "I'm still game. Anyone else? Life threatening battles with spooky masked women?" Ryuu: "Are you kidding me? A fight with strong people, that are clearly bad guys. Why should I refuse. Oh... but I gotta warn you, people with weak heart should avoid watching me fighting... blast shield makes a bit of a... mess." Malvin spotted a rectangular piece of metal nearby. He grabbed it and placed it under his feet near the opening in the cargo area. He then gave a smirk to everyone else, Malvin: "Well? What are you lot waiting for? See you on the other side!" With that he slid out of the cargo bay and dropped in the sky. He rode the metal piece under his feet skillfully as he guided his decent. As he decedent, arrows and spells flew by the dozens up towards him and the ship. Malvin: "Yare, yare, such troublesome fools... Aqua Vocal: Hyakurai! (Hundred Thunderclaps)" Malvin activated his Aqua Vocal ability, gathered the water in the air and released it as countless weapons such as lances, arrows, spear and hammers which fell down upon the attackers. He himself was close to landing but kept his attack up as cover for anyone behind him. ![]() |

@All : Sorry for not posting for such a long time, got quite lost and really busy with things in real life and some dramas. Anyways, I'll try not to do that again. [Arden Wingshadow - Skies Above Lucine] Arden decided to continue the adventures with the group that he have met recently, but he didn't expect to be riding a flying ship. Arden looked down. It shows the land of Lucine, his actual homeland. "It's been years since I've ran away from this place... Brings me some bad memories" He heard of everything about the mission. He just nodded and continues looking down. He then sees Malvin goes down first. "Seems like he's the first sacrifice..." Arden chuckled. "I'm just kidding, lets just go... Can't afford to waste more time sitting here... Especially since I've nearly got killed by one of that masked womans." |

[Sky Above Lucine] Ryuu looked with a smirk as Malvin jumped down. Ryuu: Make sure when you jump down you land behind me. He looked down a bit, to ensure that he won't land on Malvin's head, and jumped down (The height wasn't too much for a trained fighter, especially a durable one like Ryuu was). As soon as he did that, his shield appeared on his hand. He held it in a way, so that the spike of the shield was facing the ground. As he landed, the spike got driven into the ground the acceleration of the fall. As he did so, at the area around him, a transparent globe appeared, somewhat reminding of water. That was one of his shield's skills, a force field that blocks all missiles, though lets through people. In a few seconds, several arrows got deflected from it, like it was some very solid and durable glass. The reason he said to land behind him, is that his shield was one of the sides of the globe, making it protect the area behind Ryuu, not equally around him. He also tampered a bit with shield's structure, so it would slow down people trying to pass through the barrier. He took almost no damage from falling, but he wasn't sure about others, especially women. (I assume Malvin landed before Ryuu, as he jumped down first) However, maintaining two types of force field had a multiplied drain on Ryuu's stamina, quickly exausting him. Therefore, soon after he landed he shouted so those on ship could hear him. Ryuu: If you're going to jump, do it soon please. |

|| [Skies above Lucine - Remote Location] || Zen Kaizer || Zen stood there silently, not used with too many people in a group. All she did was look cautiously into the surrounding. She had soon peeked outside the ship where they had boarded few hours ago. According to the kid, the location of their rescue mission is somewhere in Lucine. She sighed, she's not going to report this to the Queen as she was afraid of the command she will be receiving. She glanced at the two countrymen she had and thought that they will probably do the same, well except to the close companion of the young Queen. "If I know that it's in the Lucine I would've killed that stupid guy in the club." She whispered to herself as her mind was off somewhere. It didn't take long as they'd reached the location. It was an empty building, but according to the information, the headquarters are laid deep within it. "I'm still game. Anyone else? Life threatening battles with spooky masked women?" Miranda asked, her eyes burning with passion as she prepared herself for the upcoming battle. "If you're going to jump, do it soon please." Ryuu shouted. Zen grinned as she jumped above Ryuu, making him stumble into the ground. "Woopsie, sorry." Zen snickers as she brushed off some dust in her clothes. |

[Liel Vanguard] [Skies above Lucine - Remote Location] After giving some thoughts, Miranda decided to join in the operation as well. The group had a lengthy discussion with the Avirians, before they let them into the ship's cargo bay, while monitoring their movements. Ezio went back into the ship's bridge, helping them locating the compound that he said earlier. As the airship approaches their destination, the elderly gentlemen gave a summary on their mission. Later, a loud explosion can be heard as Miranda decided to take a look at the buildings below. Liel waited patiently, with her eyes closed, as the ship started to land. Soon, the 2 Lucine military officers and Zen drops off from the airship. Shortly when they touched ground, Liel got up and readied herself, heading outside. "Let's finish this quick." ![]() ![]() |

[Skies above Lucine - Remote Location] Alaric had spent most of the journey up in the crow's nest observing the lands below and taking in the sights he would have been unable to see otherwise. He reminded himself to thank the old man for allowing him and the others this trip, even if they didn't get paid Alaric already felt that the trip would be worth it. When they arrived at the destination he looked as the others started disembarking the ship. Alaric: Well time for me to go as well, I suppose. He grabbed the rope he had measured during the trip and took a firm hold of it. Alaric: Here we go! He slid down the rigging on the opposite side of the place he was supposed to land holding onto the rope. Once close to the end he jumped off the side of the ship, a moment later the rope he was holding tightened and swung him in an arc below the ship. He barely missed the side of the fort they were dropping into and let go of the rope landing on one knee someway away from the others. The sheer amount of adrenaline pumping through his body made him laugh almost maniacally. Alaric: What a rush! He pulled out his sword from his back where it had been secured and made ready to drop into the hole made by the airship's cannons. Alaric: Shall we? He looked at the others seeing if they were ready. |

@All - I'm really sorry for the late post. School and work have been really taxing during the past week, so I haven't had the will to post much (not that there has been much activity on Gendou as it is). I also may need to edit this post, as I have sent off a PM to the new member to see if they are still in the RP or not. I'll edit this sentence if it turns out that they have dropped the RP (so that you guys will know if there will not be an edit). [Skies above Lucine - Remote Location] Miranda was surprised to see all the others jump off of the ramp so quickly. She figured that at least some of the more level headed people would have waited for the ship to get closer to the ground. "Looks like their all as crazy as I am." The old gentleman had was smiling and brushed a tear from his cheek as he watched the relative strangers dive right into the heart of danger for the sake of his people. Ezio was standing nearby and looked worried as his new friends all disappeared from view into the underground compound below. Miranda turned around and chuckled upon seeing the little boy's expression. "Come on kid, buck up. You don't need to worry about our safety. People like us do this kind of thing all the time." With that said, she fell backwards while waving at Ezio with her free hand. She plummeted to the ground and shot straight through the hole created by the canon. When she landed alongside the others, so saw that the group was standing in what appeared to be a jail area. Despite the location, none of the supposed missing children were there. [Vermilion Sisterhood Compound - Underground Prison] "That's disappointing. Part of me was hoping that this would end up being a super easy rescue." She looked around at the others and then up to the hole in the ceiling. The airship could still be seen above, although it was now shelling any enemy still caught above ground. "So, where to next? Any of you guys have some personal experience with prisons?" |

[Malvinder Leonheart][Vermilion Sisterhood Compound - Underground Prison] Malvin landed first followed by Arden, Ryuu, Zen Liel, Alaric and Miranda in order. Part of me was hoping that this would end up being a super easy rescue. So, where to next? Any of you guys have some personal experience with prisons?" Malvin: "This is an old school style Lucine fort. the structure remains basically the same to the newer ones. Captain Akumu and I can guide us through if you all agree. If you prefer to split up decide now. However be warned, we will be getting some company no matter alone or together." He looks around and spots a tapestry hanging nearby with a rather familiar insignia. He points to it and speaks, Malvin: "Unless my eyesight is going, that resembles the insignias worn by our 'friends' from back in Usha. Personally, I'm hoping to meet their leader, 'Jillian'. I owe some some payment for what she did to Wren and I intend to repay her with plenty of interest..." Malvin's eyes glinted with malice as he remembered their friend who had been poisoned while he was still nearby and failed to help her. ![]() |

[Underground Prison] As Miranda followed the others, Ryuu took out his stake from the floor, removing the barrier. It seemed as there weren't anyone left in the room(or a passage) they were at and he didn't need to sustain either barrier, or a feather fall field, as there was now a rope, that Alaric used to land. Ryuu: Yeah, I have some experience with prisons. As Malvin-sempai said, it's pretty much the basic layout, though I'm not sure which floor we're at, how many floors there are and, most importanly, which floor do we need. At least, after piercing this floor with my Requiem, I'm sure we're not on the lowest level. Normally, prison floors have two shapes: A big guard's or torture room with passages with cells coming from all sides, simply speaking a star shape. We're in such passage right now, so wherever we go, we either end up in a dead end... which might be a smaller room or just wall... or we end up at that room. If that's the layout, there must be a master stairs in there, connecting all the floors. If that's the case, we can easily reach all floors from there and split up to explore multiple ones. But that layout would be a lucky one for us. The other is a maze-type, where passages connect various rooms. That would be bad, as most likely there wouldn't be a master stairs there, just multiple staircases leading to lower or upper levels. And we won't know the system and will have to wander aimlessly. I can also try to break the floor below us, but I have no idea where we'll end up then. If anyone here has mapping skills, I suggest you to take care of that instead of fighting. Or maybe, Malvin-sempai or I will recognize the layout after we wander around a bit. Worst case, we can capture an enemy and interrogate for directions... but if we're still facing those girls from before, I doubt they will say anything. |

(Need to make a quick post for the new member. They won't be here for very long unfortunately, but they have expressed interest in sticking around as much as possible.) [Vermilion Sisterhood Compound - Underground Prison] "Well I think that should be Wren's grudge, but whatever, as long as you're motivated then I don't really care." As Ryuu began talking about capturing one of the women and interrogating them, Miranda decided to wander around the prison area they were in. The cells were empty, but some of them did have traces of former occupants. Whether they were children or adults was impossible to tell. She suddenly stopped in front of one of the cells, spotting a body near the back. It was propped up against the wall and there was no sign of life from it, but at the same time, there was also no sign of decay. Miranda decided to make her way closer and knelt down to inspect it. 'She hasn't been dead for very long, that's for sure. Wonder what happened though? No wounds, doesn't look like she starved, no bruises or discoloration. Maybe she suffocated somehow.' Miranda poked at the body, as she was prone to doing, and noted that the girl was wearing rather heavy armor, armor that Miranda had never seen before. During her poking and prodding, a small opening became visible. The vial of liquid that Miranda had recovered from the crashed Avirian ship started glowing brightly and she quickly removed it from her pocket. 'Odd. It's reacting for a reason. Maybe I have to use it on the armor. I've never seen armor like it, so that means it has to be Avirian. I don't see any way to remove it, so I guess it's worth a shot.' She opened the vial and put it next to the hole that had opened in the armor. 'Better not use too much of this. Always a chance I could be wrong.' She poured a small amount in and then sealed the vial again, waiting for some kind of response. Nothing appeared to be happening, so she reached over and tried to pull the chest plate off. |
