Forgot to post a chart up here for this past Winter anime season (Couldn't find a good one anyway), but here's one for this upcoming Spring season. Spring 2012 Anime Chart I'm definitely watching Kimi to Boku 2, along with continuing Mouretsu Pirates, and I'll be looking into Uchuu Kyoudai, Tsuritama, and Sakamichi no Apollon; although I'm not sure of which one(s) I'll be watching exactly. ![]() |

Not too many there that would interest me, but since the Persona 4 Anime is just about finished I wouldn't mind watching the new Lupin and Eureka Seven. Also, Thomas the Tank Engine? HELL YEAH! |

And a summer chart is up now as well. Doesn't have the air dates yet, but I think it has all the anime that are going to air this upcoming season. I'll update this post when the final version of the chart comes out. Summer 2012 Anime Chart I plan on watching Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita, Sword Art Online, Arve Rezzle, La Storia Della Arcana Famiglia, Natsuyuki Rendez-vous, and Binbougami ga! at the moment, but as always this is subject to change. ![]() |

The Persona 4 True End is the only thing in the list I think I'll watch. I have a hard time getting into anime now, even though I really enjoy anime. |

Is it just myself... or some the Summer 2012 anime series looked a bit... awkward to me. But then again, Arve Rezzle and La Storia got my interest. Might perhaps go for Kokoro Connect for some laughs. And I plan to watch Persona 4 True End as well... ![]() ![]() |

@Emiya - Yeah, I kinda noticed it too. Most of the shows are sort of "its either to your taste or not". I normally watch up to 10 anime a season but this time will be only 6, a real disappointment. Heck, I even saw more shows during Winter 2012 (which to my personal opinion was a terrible season) then this. The Current Spring Season is one of the best since last year. But Summer...meh. Hope that Fall 2012 will be better. Edit: Robotics;Notes, Girls Und Panzer, Zetsuen No Tempest, Psycho-Pass and Jourmungand season 2 confirmed for Fall 2012. Also include is a secrect anime project titled "K" that looks like a sleeper hit (photo below). What do you know, its looking better already! ![]() Edit for Toyumi: Fall 2011 was a pretty decent season for me. I had Fate Zero, Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai!, Tamayura, Mashiro-iro Symphony, Persona 4, Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, Shana III, UN-GO, Mirai Nikki, and Ben-To. No idea wher you found the chart for Fall'12 but I love it! Thanks for posting it up. ![]() |

@ Jon- I know what that can be like, it's a bummer when there literally are no new anime that appeal to you when there are so many of them. That happened to me in Fall 2010 or so, only Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt and Kuragehime ever stood out for me from that season, but even then I saw those two only after the season ended. >> (Of course, Star Driver also aired that season, which I haven't seen but I've heard that it's really good, but again this is after the season already ended.) @ Roxas- Oh, I found a chart for Fall 2012 as well. It's still too early for me to even think about Fall anime though. XD Fall 2012 Anime Chart Despite how good the Fall season may look, it still doesn't help the apparent lack of good anime for this upcoming season (Although, personally I don't see how there's a lack of good anime for this season, as of now I'm still watching my usual amount of 5-6 anime in the upcoming summer season, and you never really know how good, or bad, an anime will be until you watch it). ![]() |

Hate breaking the 2 post rule. Well since Random C. just released their compressive Summer List I admit that my summer watch list has indeed increased. Guarantied watching: La Storia Della Arcana Famiglia, Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita, Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse, Natsuyuki Rendezvous, Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru!, Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai, Campione!, Sword Art Online, and Oda Nobuna no Yabou. Maybe: Binbougami ga!, Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate, TARI-TARI, Hagure Yuusha no Estetica and Kokoro Connect. Well it looks like the season managed to dispel my doubts. Hope it goes well but then again, Accel World is still goin on so there's something to fall back on. ![]() |

Toyumi: Is that Fall 2012 chart for real!? Are they REALLY making an actual anime adaptation of the original Muv-Luv Alternative!? This better not be some cruel joke... EDIT: I hate april fool's jokes.

@ h4xOr dud3- Some of the chart is real, since anime such as K, Robotics;Notes, Psycho-Pass, and the Little Busters! anime have been confirmed, but I'm honestly not sure if all of it is real (Or if they're confirmed for that season). Sorry, I just grabbed whatever chart I could find for the season that looked fairly decent since Roxas and I were talking about it. XD However, there is some sort of Muv-Luv Alternative anime confirmed for this summer. Not sure if it's what you're looking for or not since I'm not a fan of the series. >> @ Roxas- K looks interesting, although it seems like it might rely a bit too much on boys love and such. Either way, I'll probably watch it just for the eye-candy. XD Well, some of my watch list for the summer has changed. Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita, Sword Art Online, Binbougami ga! and Natsuyuki Rendez-vous are on my watch list, while Campione! is a maybe. The only anime that I'm continuing from the spring season is Uchuu Kyoudai, so I'll still be watching around the same amount of anime that I have been for this past Spring season. I was looking forward to watching more since I'll actually have the time to watch anime, but oh well. Guess I'll just get to work on that backlog of anime I've been meaning to watch instead. >> Arve Rezzle was confirmed as an OVA rather than an anime, so I'll just watch that when all of it is out (If it's being released in multiple parts, which I'm assuming it is considering how a few people thought it would be an anime until now). Anyway, here's the final chart I found for this summer, the only anime that's incorrect is Arve Rezzle; like I said before, it's an OVA and not an anime. Summer 2012 Final Chart [Edit] Changed up what series I'll actually be watching for the season, but that's not the point of this edit. Found an actual, although rough, chart for the Fall 2012 season. First Fall 2012 Chart Looks like there will be quite a few good series that will be adapted into an anime (I already have CODE:BREAKER, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and Little Busters! on my list (As well as K, but that's an original anime)), so hopefully the anime will do them justice. ![]() |

@Toyumi - Yeah, but I've been in this rut for quite a while now. I'm thinking about checking out Sword Art Online, as I just saw an article about it elsewhere. I'm not sure if I'll follow it or not though, because while it does look like it might be a more action heavy .hack, it also looks to be a pretty depressing show. |

@ Jon- I'm watching it, and it wasn't too depressing... Until the turn it took at the end of the latest episode. I'm honestly not sure where it's going after this turn, if it's staying like this or if it'll resolve itself (Although I think/hope it will be the latter). Either way, I like it, if nothing else it does have good action scenes and it is eye-candy. I'm not too familiar with the .hack series, although that is what I've heard a ton of people are comparing Sword Art Online to. ![]() |

@Toyumi - Alright, well keep me posted on what happens next. If it looks like it's going to take that turn at Depress Corner, then I'll probably stay off of it. As for .hack, it had basically the same premise of a popular MMORPG with the same kind of medieval setting. The problem I had with .hack (or at least, the first series) was that it was incredibly light on action from what I remember. I stuck with the series for quite some time when it was on TV, but it seemed like every episode was comprised of jump-cuts to characters talking to each other, so I got really bored with it. Another series at the time, Witch Hunter Robin, suffered from the same kind of thing I believe. It was a LOT of talking, with all of the action crammed in at the last 5 minutes. Of course, that wasn't really an action kind of show to begin with. Granted, both of those shows could have ended up like that as a result of localization or being made for TV. It's been a long time since I have seen either. |
