pokemon was my first, if that counts...

the one I consider the REAL first was Evangelion.
That was a real surprise - going from the one to the other. It was way cool.

my very first watched-from-start-to-finish anime would be YuYu Hakusho - Raizen & Hiei! *hearts*. ive been watching Slam Dunk too during that time but the stupid local channel didnt air the rest of it. chikushou!

I think I must have been 4 or 5 when I saw my first anime. It was Transformers, of all things. That's actually pretty odd as the only mecha anime I like at all is Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. After that, when I was under 10, they released the original Sailor Moon series in the US, you know before they got a permanate voice actor for Usagi; I stopped watching when I was older and realized that it wasn't true to the Japanese version so that kids in this country would watch... the Americanised version just isn't dark enough. The first anime I watched all the way through, though, was Samurai Deeper Kyo, and that was only because I couldn't get a hold of Gravitation V4 at the time

I was about 3 or 4 when i first saw Transformers and Voltron. I'm unable to identify whic was my very virst. Still I loved them both, even now i'm still buying them because they're so fun.

Very first anime? Well, it's Voltus V (it's an anime, right?). Funny, I can't even remember it.

My first one's were Saint Seiya, Dragon Ball, and Captain Tsubasa, a soccer anime. I saw them when I was 7, and still living in mexico, so imagine my suprise when I found out japanese animation was just as popular in the U.S. as in Mexico. I've been able to find Saint Seiya and, duh, Bragon Ball easily enough, but can't seem to find any tapes of Captain Tsubasa anywhere, and I mean tapes because it's an older anime, same time as the other two.

Wait, I'm an anime freak??!!
