Got the chance to listen to the 3 CDs that were recently released. Here are my thoughts on each of them Fate/Recapture - For the most part it is just a 'best of' cd of all the songs released for the various adaptations of the visual novel. The last 2 songs however are worth the price! The newly arranged/remixed versions of This Illusion & Hollow are simply epic!!! I'll attempt to upload them so you can hear them yourselves. Mariage - for Sachi Tainaka fans! She sings every vocal song for the visual novels, some arranged differently than the original. Her version of This Illusion isn't that much different than the TV series theme song. Hollow on the other hand is more softer than the original & Sachi-san does a great job on it. Probably my fave on the CD. Ricordanza - as i expected this CD is just a collection of songs from the TV series, so if you already have singles of these you aren't missing much. Still nice to have all the songs on one CD than multiple.  |

Always forget to welcome the new members whenever i post here...so i apologize for not recognizing you guys/gals. Welcome to the fanclub though unfortunately since i'm not the creator of this thread i can't add you to the list. Btw, which brings me to mention that Renma-san has been MIA here for awhile. Too bad since i'm interested to hear his thoughts on these news from Typemoon. Oh well at least Kelrei-san & myself will keep this thread afloat until he returns. ***** Anyways not sure if anyone has visited the official site, i noticed a promo pic of something from the new Phantasy Star Portable 2 game that either you can create some Fate characters (Archer & Saber) or if they are secret characters you can unlock. Hopefully the game will make it overseas since i enjoyed the first game. A dungeon grinder for the most part but it was cool. As for the PSP game Fate Extra, some more info on the characters available in the game. Other than Rin & *SHOCK!!!!* Leo!? Not that LIO is it!?, there are some new Masters for this alternate universe, also some of the Servants have been introduced. Of course Saber & Archer are there but a new character of the caster class is present. Some strange fox-girl. The best news is the promo vid available for download. Thankfully someone has uploaded to youtube so enjoy! Song is from ALI Project which name so far is unknown. **EDIT** Typemoon has released a new trailer for the upcoming UBW movie. Showing some more scenes & a sample of the new song by Sachi Tainaka called 'Imitation' which absolutely rocks! The animation looks really good, a notch above the original anime series. Can't wait for this!!! |

Muhaha, did Rin get "larger"? The animation is hella sweet, I'm expecting this movie to hit large. It comes out in like a week and a half, holy crap, I wonder if it'll be subbed within a short time period. The blue arrows remind me of Ishida's Ginrie Kojaku's arrows.

Quote "I wonder if it'll be subbed within a short time period" I doubt it DAngel-san. I expect it to be like the Kara no Kyoukai movies. It'll take a few months after until the film is released on DVD/BluRay. The first Kara film i believe took almost 6 months for the DVD release. |

[@Izumo] Eh, not to bad really. Maybe I'll even rewatch the regular series. It's been a while. At least it's not a year later like how it usually is with the Naruto and Bleach movies, so that's nice.

Im surprised the Movie theme song is not the one with the title "Voice~Tadoritsuku Basho". And also I expected the theme song to be a vocal rearrange of "Emiya" o.O *Edit* Hmm. ^ yeah~ and her dress is transparent o.O and she also looks more serious than the other sabers (her chibi form in the typemoon 2010 banner looks scary XD) Oh. and how come i didnt noticed. Fuji-nee is in the highlight of the banner with a metal club(is it?) Of course, its the year of the Taiga XD |

It feels like Type-Moon is doing a new fan-service gimmick by making Saber's dress transparent there O.O Not that I hate red but in fact I learn to love red because of Tohsaka but I didn't really liked Saber's new dress DDx /why they shouldn't flash her pantsu Lol...thanks Ren...I'm actually enjoying the first chapter of Fate/Zero but it seems like even after translating the odd structure of the sentence makes it sound a little Japanese xDDD |

They're hentai games, even if the plots are awesome and the sex scenes are terrible. (Also, hi, I'd like to join the club. And claim Fujimura Taiga from Fate / stay night if no one has yet.) |

Her new outfit doesn't have that part on it if you look at the picture Kelrei-san posted. It's just part of the fan-service for the legions of fans the series has, harmless if you ask me. I understand the logic to re-create her outfit but since the new game is an ALTERNATE reality this Saber probably isn't the Saber we know & love. There will be some similarities between the two but my guess there will be differences as well. Until we know the story of the game it is only my speculations. @ Penguin-san Welcome to the thread. The front page hasn't been updated in ages since our 'Creator' is MIA for the time being. He'll be back....eventually. If the "sex scenes" are the main reason you played the game than you better play the other thousands of eroge out there cause that is not the point of the sex in Fate/Stay Night. The sex in the game is for driving the story along, it compliments the story in easier terms not for "eye candy" or just the sake of being there. Those ideas are for the more "hardcore" games. On the other hand the fan-disk "Fate/hollow" is another story completely. The main story of that game is great...the side stories well those are just "eye candy" & fan service. However i'm not complaining :D @ Kelrei-san The song "Imitation" which btw is available on one of the 3 CDs that Typemoon released. I believe it is on the ricordanza one (the TV best collection). The song will probably be some kind of insert song since "Voice" is the actual theme song of the movie. I remember i stumbled upon a site that had a sample of that song but i can't seem to find it anymore.....i'll try to find it cause the song is AWESOME the little i heard. |

@ Dean-san Welcome to the club. If you like Fate than the other titles by Typemoon are also very good. Tsukihime & Kara no Kyoukai both are well worth your viewing time. As for the Fate/Extra game for the PSP, there is a very slim possibility since they did release Unlimited Codes. It'll probably recieve the same treatment if it is ported over, as being a DL only game. *************** Anyways just heard the new song for the UBW movie "Voice~Tadoritsuku Basho" by Sachi Tainaka. It's alright, i was expecting something abit more epic considering the story of UBW. The song "Imitation" which was heard in the trailer would make a better theme song...& Voice would make a nice ending song in my opinion. |
