I need to do some homework right now, even though I'm posting here first. I'll watch episode four afterwards and see everything then. The movie is nothing you haven't seen already, so it's not like not seeing the movie will hurt you in any way. I've had it for a while now, and haven't seen it yet. ;P

XD I guess the fourth episode focused more on the character's relationships. Gosh that Konoe girl is so mysterious >.> she's kinda annoying too, in my opinion :P Shana is so cute :D Yuji's too nice to everyone -_-; |

me too, I got my copy of "JOINT" single yesterday and I was like listening to both songs (JOINT and triangle) all day. @Suzaku>> yeah, I'm a bit annoyed with Fumina Konoe as well. She's hindering Shana and Yuuji's closeness... I think this second series of Shana concentrates more on character relationships (specifically Yuuji and Shana) compared to the first series which is more action. When will Kazumi Yoshida notice that Ike has took a liking to her... and when will Yuuji will realize that Shana loves him? He's too numb. -__- |

ok as you can see I just started watching Shana from this second season, so I'm still familiarizing with some terms and situations.... "Fuzetsu" XDD I think Yuuji is way to nice!, sometimes being too nice gives you more trouble than what you expect to avoid. ep. 4 was more actionless like but still pretty good!, A little more will to TALK wouldn't be so bad for Konoe.   |

KK!! I'm ashamed of you D:< YOU NEED TO WATCH THE FIRST SEASON!!! Gosh XD Konoe = bleh Yoshida = nice but annoying sometimes Shana = kawaiiiiiiiii :3 Yuji is either totally oblivious to Shana's affections or he's just plain old too dumb -_- How can he not notice?? XDDD I love that scene with Yoshida and Ike in the OP scene...Ike looked hot for a second XD *cough* |

I saw episode four yesterday, and Konoe is even cuter! The way she snuggled up when they were at the restaurant was too cute. She's like some cute puppy or something, really. I saw the two huge bowls of ramen, omfg! I ate a similar bowl when I was in New Jersey, quite some time ago. I ate all of it, mostly, but didn't drink all the soup. There was so much soup left, you could swim in it. O.o` Instead of ramen, it was a vietnamese dish called "pho", but it was hella good though... XD Shana is cute as well, being all jealous and whatnot. The end where she eats with Yoshida on the school rooftop was kind of sad, since they felt kind of left out by Yuji. You may think Yuji is "blind", since he doesn't realize what's going on around him. You have to understand, he's never really been involved with any of that type of stuff before. I'm not even sure if he's ever talked about that stuff either. Japanese HS relationships tend to be that way in anime. It's like where my high school, or American high schools in general where a girl dates like, a new guy a month... some a week. >.>'

....why they make this anime turn into romance anime. im kinda disappointed with this series now. The thing i like about shana is the concept of the story, but looks like they gonna spend some filler episodes

The romance is something aside from all the fighting and action. It gives 'character' to all the other characters, like for instance Shana liking Yuji or being jealous of his time with Konoe a lot. With all they've been through, she's starting to love him now and you know something will happen soon. Personally though, I love romance in everything. It's just my 'character.' XDXD [sidenote] Downloading episode five right now. ^_^

episode 5 still lack some action (aside from Yuuji' training with Wilhelmina) and they got nowhere with Shana+Yoshida jealousy toward Konoe intimacy with Yuuji. But still this episode gives a good indicator about the progress of the story in the future, with Konoe' butler was shown having the same bracelet as her (and even being focused, indicating something). It may be some sort of unrestricted spell, we will only know when the action takes place later. btw Wilhelmina is still pawned by her cooking lol. And good to see Yuuji seems getting stronger, now that he can instinctively use the power of existence to defend himself.

i actually don't mind the romance, the thing that irritates me a lot is the slow pace of the story, and also there's nothing really new in epsd 5 this is why KEY's anime are the best xD they balance every comedy/romance/main storyline in each episodes.

Just finished episode five, and the regular school-life side of the anime continues. I don't really think Shana's ever experienced jealousy before, so she thinks it's something Yuji did (like a spell). The cabbage that Wilhemina made made me laugh! Shana's reaction when she first saw it was funny. Not sure if this was a part of the episode, but that limo that we saw twice was kind of weird. Wonder if it's just irrelevant or ironic. /shrugs~ Episode five showed more of a mother/daughter relationship between Wilhemina and Shana. The part where Shana told Wilhemina that she keeps nagging on and on was like the "urasai, urasai, urasai" of the episode. She's really thinking about Yuji all the time, 24/7. It's incredibly cute to see that sparkle in her eyes, yet it's sad at the same time. T-T` [sidenote] Tanaka and Ogata are so embarrassed around each other. That "hand" thing near the end of their scene was pretty awkward. They were really sweating it off there. XD
