Huh?? Is it a fan dub that you're talking about?

R2 is the second season, d00d. And the dub has been showing for weeks on Adult Swim, not a fan dub. ------- |

Just a wee bit of information for all you Code Geass fans out there. You may or may not know this already but I'm just sharing for those who don't know. Basically, the original story of R2 was scrapped entirely because of the timeslot change by SUNRISE. Taniguchi still did his best and the current R2 is the fruits of his labour. He did express his anger toward his original storyline being scrapped when he was interviewed though. I'll give you guys a couple of links if you wanna read into it more. Here ya go. http://trainwreck.ggkthx.org/2008/08/19/taniguchi-on-geass-not-as-planned/ & http://trainwreck.ggkthx.org/2008/08/20/changing-the-time-changing-the-show/ Well, I enjoyed R2 just as much even though the ending wasn't quite satisfying. :( I'm sure you all did as well. Haha |

what do you mean by "complete season"? [@Vardant] Interesting, though regardless, the anime's classic, especially the ending no matter who's view is read upon. :D ------- |

I have been hoping for an S3... but I think it's pretty much impossible now. |

yeah, code geass is a serious must watch! vardant: i feel that it's a good ending, actually. it really shows us the depth of lelouch's character. he's not just an evil person; everything he's done since he obtained his geass was out of love for his sister, and he acknowledges that he has made decisions that resulted in the loss of many lives and bears the burden of it. |

Code Geass has the best possible story line cause it has characters that we would love , and then ther would be characters that we would hate. but the story is so convincing that @ times u feel that what leoluich is doing is necessary, and at times u feel he is the bad guy. and some of the chatacters do a comple 180 in the episodes . its friggin awesome |

I am dusting this old thread for it seems there will be another sequel for CODE GEASS! found it at the forum tht I always frequent :) Bandai's mobile phone website m-pub.channel.or.jp is hosting a graphic that reads as follows: New Code Geass Project Launch Green-Lit! Wait for more info in 2010!! The image adds that this project represents a "rebirth" and that Geass will take a new step starting today. The message is signed with the name, "ZERO."] Source: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1249587 http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2009-12-04/new-code-geass-project-launch-revealed http://m-pub.channel.or.jp/geass/ |

Wait... Is this for real?? Actually a 3rd series, or is it like a remake? I don't think that a continuation would be possible considering the pretty closed up ending... (Don't want to start fight but, Lelouch is dead...) I hope it's a remake (R2 was pretty poorly done) or like an entirely different cast of characters or something... |

(uhm... repost from my older post in Anime category. Thanks to Ray for telling me that there was already a post here. I thought of Code Geass R2 specifically, well the users included the first season as well.) ******************************************************************************** Whoa whoa whoa... I just finished my second viewing of Code Geass R2, and now I really understand the story (honestly I can't understand why Lelouch did this and that, even the other characters!) and by the 26th episode, when C.C. is aboard a haystack cart, she said, "The power of the gods, called the Geass, causes a lot of sadness to its owner. Not quite accurate, isn't it... Lelouch? *smiles*". The Philippine version (I mean the airing of Code Geass R2 in my country) only showed that part when C.C. delivered that line, but when I saw a video in YouTube that includes Lelouch shown as the coach of that cart is quite a surprise for me! Imagine that, Suzaku, who was dressed as Zero killed him in front of the Brittannians and the Elevens (I mean Japanese)! That was quite impossible to live in that stab made by Suzaku. But as I had watched the same scenes again and again, I wondered then why Lelouch was so confident as Suzaku made his way to kill him, despite that it could be his end (proof: C.C. was praying while the Zero Requiem was happenning, and is quite worried!). Could it be that Lelouch got the Code from Charles when he tried to stop the Raganrok Connection, thus making him alive afterwards? What is the implication of Lelouch having his Geass upgraded, just like Charles' when he was captured by Suzaku? Whoa, now I worship its writer, the story is so amazing when you look closer! :D

Senpai! You're lucky you'd been watching this anime! This is one freaking cool and mecha anime! I got addicted to it the first time I watched it. And to say that I had watched this at about episode 13 up to R2 but still I loved this anime. I believe that Lelouch is still alive even though he was stabbed by Suzaku at the end. (I also believed that the prayer that C.C made had worked.) It's impossible for Lelouch to die. He has still something to do. To repeat myself, I love Code Geass!!!!!! |
