RYOU MISAKI 3:16 PM Violetta Mansion Ryou sheathed his swords, and closed his eyes. "Come to "The Merging," tonight Hanna. Leave your lackies behind. I have no intention of hurting you." he looked at all of her knights then back at her knights. "If you don't follow my terms..." He looked Hanna directly in the eye. "You know the consequences. I swear on my life I won't hurt you Hanna just please..." He turned his back and started to walk out. he was giving them the chance they wanted, a chance to get off a good, clean, and lethal hit. No one took that chance however. Ryou walked out of the mansion, and when he was in the clering, he looked back at Hanna, and looked her straight in the eye with his brown human eyes, then dashed off into the forest. The Violetta's troubles with Ryou for that day were over. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HINA KAGUYA 3:16 PM Violetta Top Security Compund Hina felt Ryou's murderous intent subside and she exhaled in relief. "Thank god..." The prison started to calm down as the world of the battle faded. Most of the guards were wonderinhg why the intruder was not put onto the Half-Demon blacklist yet. "A half-demon that powerful shouldn't be let out of a blockade of high ranking knights." One knight said as he passed by Hina's cell. There was nothing to do in this droll, and colorless place. The other demons and half-demons in the compound were sepearted from her so she couldn't get together a strike force. She wouldn't do that anyways. Hina walked over to her calendar and crossed out a day. One day was circled in red that read "EXECUTION DAY," Hina said. "...5 more days..."

Violetta Mansion, 3:20 PM as Hannah held onto Kozo, Rictus was trying to talk Ryou down. Kozo looked at his mistress, the one person at the mansion he knew more than anyone else. He whispered toward hannah"M'lady, please dont push yourself. Sir Rictus is right, you dont have to fight. Just give give him the option of leaving, and if he trays anything i'll slice him dead." he knew Hannah, and he knew that fighting wasnt the way it to be. He knew Hannah knew this, but wasnt sure if she'd just let it go, at least theis one time. "Please, m'lady?" As Hanna sustained against Kozo she didn't have any strength left she was actually fainting away in his hands but she turns away her gaze. " I don't need advice from you...." Ryou sheathed his swords, and closed his eyes. "Come to "The Merging," tonight Hanna. Leave your lackies behind. As Hanna barely looked at Ryou back. " I hope that's not a threat because I'm not scared of YOU!" As she tryd to walk forward, making Ryou notice that she is not scared actuality daring Ryou to do something, but so stupid and ignorant she gets a little dizzy, losing her balance as Ryou declared. I swear on my life I won't hurt you Hanna just please..." He turned his back and started to walk out. Ryou walked out of the mansion, and when he was in the clearing, he looked back at Hanna, and looked her straight in the eye with his brown human eyes, then dashes off into the forest. The Violetta's troubles with Ryou for that day were over. The other knights the low ranking one starting to work on the reconstruction of the mansion. Hanna almost dropped to her knees almost breathless, gasping for air,but above all she trys to keep her composure her black hair covering her pale face. She could not hide the truth about her physical status, Hanna was sick from her childhood, the reason is still unknown, because she doesn't allows no one to ask about her. " I'm Going... ALONE as he propose... that's and Order... not a Request!" As she struggles to walk over her dormitory. " That Demon! Hina Kaguya.... i want her..." But as she was about to declare and Order her health could not go in pair with her determination and finally she fell to the ground as her fall was heard. All the maids and the Lower Rank Knights looked back with surprise. "Mistress?...." Everyone asked repeatedly.  |

HINA KAGUYA Violetta Top Security Prison 3:20 PM A guard came and opened her door. Without noticeg a guard slapped anti-demon cuffs on her, making her really weak and powerless" "What's...going on..." She asked weakly. "The head of the Violetta wishes to see you." The guard then dragged her out of her cell, and into the carriage where she would be taken to the Violetta Mansion. Violetta Mansion Hanna's Room 3:50 PM The guard shoved Hina into the room, and she fell, the cuffs still attached to her wrists. Hina struggled to get up but finally did so. She looked around and saw a figure sitting up on a bed it was Hanna. "hanna..." she said weakly... "please...dont do this..." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RYOU MISAKI The Merging 3:50 PM Ryou arrived at The Merging. It was a place sacred to half-demons but it was empty from the recent hunts, and exterminations of their kind. A waterfall on the left, and also one at the right, both about 300 feet tall, and emptied into a giant basin. Lush forest surrounded it and was almost impossible to find. Ryou waited here, waited for Hanna. He decided to take. And he did so. After that he cought himself a fish, as the basin was populated and cooked it for lunch. Ryou sighed after he was finished. "Hanna..." he muttered to himself in deep depression. Back then, while they were still kids, Ryou had promised Hanna he would always protect her. Then, their caravan, or "family" was attacked. The only 3 that had survived were Hanna, she was taken away to the Violetta, her real family to be the next head of the family. Hina, who had been imprisoned. And Ryou. When the Violetta checked, Ryou shoowed no signs of life. he was dead. "I shouldn't be alive..." He muttered to himself again, his old memories flowing in his head for the first time in four years. he remembered the happy times, the sad times, and the devasting times. These memoris made him wince with remorse. Ryou now fell asleep, letting the memories guide him a safe passage, until Hanna would arrive.

Violetta Mansion, 3:23 pm Hanna finally collapsed, and Rictus waved the servants over, nodding. "About time. Take care of her. I'll be back later." He walked away from the unconscious Hanna, assured that she'd be fine. He wanted to be somewhere else at the moment. He walked into the ruined hallway and located his folder. It was still on the table, but now it was covered in bits of wall and plaster dust. He brushed it off, annoyed, and placed it back into his jacket. He stepped outside and sniffed the air. That way. He was off in a moment, jumping up and into the trees, flitting into the forest after Ryou. Several minutes later, he stood in a tree near The Merging. Below him, he could see Ryou, asleep. "Fft. Hey, kid. Wake up. We need to talk."  |

-Violetta Mansion, 3:29pm- Kazuma runs into the yard of the mansion and sees some lifeless bodies on the ground in front of the door. "This is not good" Kazuma runs inside and looks around, he finds a maid and asks what happened. After he got the detail on what happened, he went to where Hanna was being kept. Kazuma walks into the room and thanks the staff for helping her "I am sorry i wasn't here to help mistress" Even though she was asleep he spoke  |

Violetta Mansion; 3:29pm It was kind of a wonder - no, it is a wonder - that the noises did not wake Mary up from her sleep outside the Mistress' office, even though she had not slept for days while she was away. No one was in the office so she had decided to wait until Hanna comes. Well, someone had come, but it was a maid. She had asked the maid about what has happened while she was asleep. The maid has offered to take her things to the Head Knights' dorm. She thanked the maid and then ran to the room where the Head Mistress' was being taken care of. She bolts at the door and stumbles in. She falls to her knees by the foot of Hanna's bed and bows her head. Yes, I am a mess, but how could I sleep while Ryou Misaki had barged into the mansion, and attacked the soldiers and knocked the other knights up and let the Head Mistress go to 'the Merging' thing ALONE?" Mary thought. "I am so sorry, Mistress." She sighs and looks up at Kazuma (Drakar). "Kazuma" she says faintly. |

Violetta Mansion, 3:35pm Hanna's Privet Dormitory After what happened the house was more quiet. The maids carried unconscious Hanna to her bedroom and placed her on her bed, the fabric of her bed was unique just made for her. Red as her eyes and soft like silk, In her dormitory there was Drakar, Mary and the prisoner Hina. The sunset coming through the windows of the room to their eyes was a dazzling sight, seemed of a fantasy, especially for all of them because it was there first time in this bedroom. Practically no one had entered this room was private, They had entered her office that looked like her room but it wasn't, but this was outside the perimeters. Hanna's bedroom was the last in the hallway, no one had gone before inside.Curtains hung from beautiful wooden poles. Her room was dark with slightly different designs lamps softly lit with the light of approaching dusk. While she lay sleeping in the middle of everything. It was Different she looked calm,gentle. Hina was there asking for mercy but it was in vain, Hanna was asleep she could not harm her, for the first time in a while Hanna Serenity Rivehall Violetta was Harmless. |

Toru took a look at the outside of Violetta Mansion. He knew it was the headquarters of a band of demonslayers, but he had never imagined that Dracar and the other were in with them. But considering that was where they went, it was pretty obvious. If Toru was to implement his plan, he'd need the permission of their boss, whoever he was. Or she. Some demonslayers were female nowadays. Toru's demon father, Ashtaroth, had taught Toru to fight both gloved and ungloved, and then, four years ago, he had been fought by a demonslayer. He had fought to the death, until... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FLASHBACK Ashtaroth was ugly, by demon standards. His mottled skin was the color of wet clay and almost felt the same. His hands had six fingers, all of which ended in claws. His head was completely bald, and his feet were very big and also clawed. It was a complete mystery why Toru's mother, Ryoko Tokino, had married him. Ryoko Tokino was a very plain woman. She wasn't all that busty, but not especially flat, either. Her face was open and inviting, but not particularly beautiful or ugly. She was 5'8", which was tall for a woman, but not especially tall. Toru had been playing with a frizbee in the backyard when the stranger had come up and asked Toru where his father was. "Daddy?" Toru had asked, wide-eyed. "No one ever wants to see Daddy." "Well, I do," the man had said. "Are you going to lead me to him or not?" He was pretty heavily armed, with a katana sword and a chain sickle, not to mention a gun. "Daddy's inside," Toru had said. And then he had returned to the frizbee. After a few minutes, Toru had gotten bored and went insid to ask his daddy to play with him. Funnily enough, Ashtaroth was not in his usual place in his den. Toru did, however, find a note saying, "Don't come after me. If I don't return in fifteen minutes, take your mother and run, Toru. Don't stop running until you collapse from exhaustion. - Ashtaroth" Needless to say, Toru left the note where it was and set off in search of Daddy. "Oh, Toru-chan, where are you going?" asked his mother, who was cleaning the dishes. "Daddy's in trouble," Toru said. He lacked guile in those days. Toru's mother smiled. "Are you sure you weren't just having a bad dream?" "Read the note yourself," Toru said. "It's in his den." Then, Toru had ran... in his father's direction. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Toru shook off unpleasant memories and proceeded to knock on the house's front door.

[Riverhall Mansion, 3:40 PM.] Dylan had gone to the nearby park after breakfast, to relax and mull over what the runes said. He thought doing so would help ease his apprehension. After all, he had been doing a lot of work lately, helping to track down those "Obsidian Hand" cultists over the past two weeks. He deserved a break, to calm his nerves and spirit. And the break did the job. At least, until he returned to the Riverhall mansion and found the corpses of several of the house guards. Their armor was split and crumpled in several places, blackened blood staining their garnments. Dylan swallowed, fearing the worst. Had demons attacked the mansion? What kind of creature could create such carnage among trained demon slayers? What if that thing had entered the house? What if Hanna was harmed? Dylan burst into the house, dashing up the spiraling staircase to Hanna's room. He held Imperator's Hand in one hand as he took the stairs two at a time, hoping, pleading, begging to whatever gods there were, that it was not as bad as he feared, that everything would be fine. There was a maid going down the stairs, holding a bunch of objects that looked like a Head Knight's things. Dylan stopped, then ran in the opposite direction, sliding to a halt before the maid. In surprise, she yelped, dropping the things she held. The cloak fluttered to the ground, sending the badges and pins wrapped in it all over the place. "What the hell happened here?" Dylan said, almost grabbing the maid's collar in his agitation. "Who killed the guards? Was there a fight? Is Madam Hanna OK? Tell me!" The words fell out of his mouth one after the other. "Ah-ah-ah-alright! Alright! Calm down!" The maid took a moment to compose herself, then began to speak. "There was a demon here a few moments ago. He was looking for the Mistress... He said... he wanted her to come to something called the Merging." The maid sighed. "That's all I know." She turned around, only to see that Dylan had resumed his mad dash up the stairs. "H-hello? Hey! You! Is... something... the matter...." The maid sighed, then stooped to pick up the cloak and the scattered badges. Goddammit! Dylan cursed himself as he sped up the stairs. I shouldn't have left! I shouldn't have gone out! I'm such an idiot! I ignored the runes! I ignored their warning! Stupid, stupid, stupid! He ran harder, feeling his lungs constrict as they struggled to take in air.If Madam is hurt, I... I... Dammit! He reached the next landing, skidded to a panting halt before the mahogany door to Hanna's room. It was slightly ajar, lamplight glinting off the polished doorknob. Dylan went in, sheathing his weapons as he pushed the door. The room was dim, the velvet curtains drawn across the windows. Only a few ornate lamps kept the room from being totally dark. At the foot of the bed stood two other Head Knights: a young man he knew as Kazuma, and a girl who called herself Mary. Beside them knelt another girl, dressed in a ragged tunic, with manacles on her slender arms. Two fox-like ears sat above her head, and Dylan had to keep himself from drawing his sword as he realized that this girl was a demon. "Hanna.... Please... Don't do this..." she begged. Dylan edged closer to the foot of the bed, growing relieved as he saw the blessed markings on the girl's manacles. She posed no threat to any of them. His relief was replaced with guilt as he saw Hanna, lying asleep in the bed, an expression of absolute calm on the pale face. Dylan knelt down, clenching his hands so tightly that his nails dug into his palm. He'd shirked his duty, running out to the park.... and now, Hanna was in trouble. "Madam.... Forgive me... I wasn't there to protect you," he whispered. "I swear... I'll make up for this... whatever it takes." ****************************** [Judaica, The Abyss. TIME UNKNOWN] "Stolas?" Kasdeja asked. The demons were gathered once more at the council hall, once more in their human guises. "Yes?" Stolas tilted his head sideways. Kasdeja had to stifle a chuckle at the sight of his devoted cousin tilting his head like a common barn owl. "Tell me, how is the plan going? Are we any closer to opening a rift to the mortal world?" "Almost there, My Lord." Stolas took the sheaf of parchment from its resting place on the desk. "Ravach says we should have a stable rift in several Earth days. With the rift, we can send the whole of our forces there." "Good." Kasdeja folded his hands on the table. "Gaaph, how have Their Majesties received our letter?" "They intend to abide by our alliance as is promised," the swarthy man at his side said. Kasdeja nodded. "Forgemaster, are the legions armed and prepared?" "As to your liking." The hunchbacked demon croaked, grinning. "Artaqifa? Where are the twins?" "Malphas is currently watching the movement of the Riverhalls. Halphas intends to manipulate the gangs into a war. If we play our cards right, we should be able to disrupt both the demon slayers and win over the gangs." "Are these gangs... strong enough for our purposes?" Kasdeja asked. "With the support we give them, we could potentially have a fifth column operating in the mortal world right now. Sounds good, eh, cousin?" Artaqifa smiled, baring pointed teeth. Kasdeja nodded, smiling. He loved this side of this cousin; the scheming, ruthless, one-step-ahead side of Artaqifa. I like the way you think, Cousin. ************************ [@Otaku: Yeah, Ymir is gonna come into Kasdeja's plans somehow. D'you mind if I use him as an enemy of the Riverhalls? Anyway, I'll just wait until something happens then step in with Halphas and Malphas, the sneaky bastards. :P ]

RYOU MISAKI The Merging 3:25 PM Ryou woke up from his nap in a daze, he looked around, but say nothing, then he heard the noise again. This time, he heard where it was coming from and looked directly at Rictus. "Oh it's you." Ryou said then yawned. "I asure you I mean no harm to Hanna. You can just go back to your little palace and have tea time kay? You won't bge seeing me for quite some time." Ryou wasn't helping the situation with the "tea time," remark, but he found it humourous and chuckled. He was in quite high spirits for someone who had pretty much killed 20 people and was sent into a depression. Ryou jumped up onto his feet, and threw his shirt back on. "What did you want to talk about?" he didn't bother to put on the belt with his swords, as he didn't feel a threat coming from Rictus, besides he didn't need his swords to fight. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HINA KAGUYA 3:25 PM Violetta Mansion, Hanna's Chamber Hina looked around and saw that Hanna was awake, but she was not by herself, Drakar and Mary where there. She looked down in shame, for being seen so weak, and helpless. She could do nothing in these cuffs, even when she didn't mean any harm at all. Hina first looked at Drakar, then Mary. "I suppose my execution's coming early if you knights are here..." she said weakly. A few maids passing by Hanna's chamber and were talking about the recent events of the day. Hina learned that Rictus had gone after Ryou, and that she had just missed him.

"Yes, what is it?" she asked curtly. Toru was all charm. "Hello, ma'am, a pleasant day, isn't it?" He tried not to draw attention to his gloved hands. "May I speak with the master of the house?" "Do you have an appointment?" the maid asked, apparently unaffected by the charm. "No, I do not," Toru said, persisting with the charm. "However, perhaps you know someone trustworthy who can hold on to a message. In fact, I'm sure you do, because you are undoubtedly as resourceful as you are beautiful." "Aren't we the charmer," the girl said. "No, I do not know someone who could hold on to a message, and if I did I certainly wouldn't refer a dubious person like you to them." "Then you leave me no choice," Toru said. He pulled his right glove off and scratched the girl along the arm. Then, he forced her down. She struggled, of course, but Toru said, "If I were you, I wouldn't move from that spot, or cry out. In fact, try not to get excited. You're poisoned, and it'll damage the nerves. If you don't let it get to your brain, then it won't be enough to kill you, so don't move." The girl fell still. "All right," Toru said, advancing inward.

Kozo went to his secret place just of fthe grounds after hannah was safe in bed and the knights started showing up. it was a quiet place only he, Kazuma, and Sir Rictus. Kozo built it when ihe was yougnger to get away from the violence he was treated with back when he was still a servant. "why..why..WHY COULDNT I DO ANYTHING?" he punched the wall of the old club house. "a lot of memories in this place. Sir Rictus following me here that day. it changed my life, thought me the true meaning of being behind the sword." FLASHBACK a younger Rictus is holding a sword up, unsheathed, in front of his face, looking up at the blades point. 'to protect those you care about. THAT, Kozo-kun, is the TRUE meaning of being a knight. the sword to protect your master, your mistress, and ALL you love.' PRESENT DAY a small smile appeared on Kozo's face. "and Kazuma, when he came here for the first time. it was by accident." FLASH BACK a younger Kazuma pulls back a tree branch to reveal a small shack with a sign out front reading "Chivalier HQ. Intruders will be slain(sp) on sight" 'what.. what is this place? a club house?' Kozo:"INTRUDER!" a younger Kozo jumps at the younger Kazuma. only to fall on his face. PRESENT DAY Kozo lowered his head in disbelief. "i was a lot less agial back then. we trained all day. Sir Rictus as our sensei." he looked at the photo hanging on the back wall of the shack, the younger Sir Rictus, the younger him, the younger kazuma. "what?" he got right against the photo, pulled down his hood, and looked into the background. "mother of.." he pulled up his hood and turned around, "i need to get back!" he dashed off, back to the house. "m'lady, please.. Please be ok." he ran straight to Hannah's bedroom. he used his signature knock, before entering to see Kazuma, Dylan, Hina, Mary, and of course his Mistress, still sleeping. "evening." he stated as he entered, closing the door behind him, and bowing in his normal fashion at Lady Hannah's bed side. 
darkness is the vail that holds the truth. open your eyes and let the true world be seen, if you dare think you can handle it. i am the darkness within your heart. i know what you fear, and what you really are.

The Merging, 3:26 pm Rictus jumped down from the tree, brushing his pants off. "Don't worry, I'm not here for anything so trivial as fighting. I'm not a Riverhall dog yet, and I know how Hanna gets. I'd much rather hear your side of the story. If I find that you're in the right, I'll get your... Kaguya? out. You know, if it comes to that. Hanna's in pretty bad shape, for some reason, but I think she called for Hina Kaguya as she fainted. That may or may not be a good sign. Only time will tell." He sat down at the base of a tree and relaxed, letting himself feel the ebb and flow of natural energy around him. He nodded at Ryou. "If you wish." |

Mansion Hanna's Dormitory, 4:00pm While everyone was in Hanna's bedroom, she was quiet and in her dreamed she spoke. "I'm dreaming..." A sound she heard around very familiar , Hanna turns and to do so is her as a child playing their favorite song on the piano that her father had given her. In the dream she was with her father she knew in spite of that he could not see his face, her father with a hand on her shoulder very caring. "Very Good Hanna..." but suddenly hearing those words when Hanna wakes up and looks around her knight were there and the demon Hina. She was not very happy that they we were in her room. Looked around as if she was lost, and rises from her bed. "All of you what are you doing in here?!" "I suppose my execution's coming early if you knights are here..." she said weakly. A few maids passing by Hanna's chamber and were talking about the recent events of the day. Hina learned that Rictus had gone after Ryou, and that she had just missed him. Hanna walks to Hina and stops in front of the demon before her. Her eyes were eternal, empty, Hina had never seen such a look. Hanna stretches out her hand and it gives a violet aura and Midnight appears. "You demon that has caused pain to others without remorse. Hanna points the gun towards Hina, the violet light is undertaken. and the Family Crest mark in Hanna's back began to light up. I Hanna Mistress Violetta and sovereign of this association I.. I... Execu..." Her hand begins to tremble as they watch. " I... I..." Some servants peeked from the door to see the action of the Miss. " Is she going to do it?" a maid ask whispering. Past It was the young hanna with just 6 years old and holding midnight while a Knight tied a demon for he first Execution. Hanna you must learn to punish these demons that make innocent people suffer her father demanded. "Shoot!" As she answerd "But Father i can not,I don't want" But her father insisted "Shoot!" And a shot was heard around the garden as demon blood drip in her face. Hanna looks at Hina. " Get her out...." while a lower rank Knight escorted Hina back to the main prison she was before. As she looked in to everyone Eyes. As she turned her back at them. "I want to be by my self..That's and Order..." |

Violetta Mansion; Outside Hanna's Dormitory; 4:01 pm Mary gets out with Kazuma. "Guess all we can do now is make sure no one bothers her." Kazuma says "Yes, apparently." Mary replies, and turns to Kazuma, "They call you Drakar. What has happened while I was away?" |

Violetta Mansion; Outside Hanna's Dormitory 4:02 pm Toru had been moving around in the mansion in secret for seven minutes when he spotted Dracar with a woman, coming out of a private room. "Guess all we can do now is make sure no one bothers her," Dracar said, passing Toru's hiding place, which was under a decoration table. "Yes, apparently," said the woman. "They call you Dracar. What happened while I was away?" Toru rose up in surprise and bonked his head on the top of the table.
There are two things I can't stand in this world - people who are intolerant of other people's cultures, and the Dutch.

Sah: No we have to clean the wound as best we can, plus i don't want to use my Demon powers on 'cause it permently scares your lifeforce, giving cancer or some other harmful decease. "Hai, mistress Hannah." Kozo said after she sgave the order. he followed out of the room shortly after Kazuma and Mary left. "Sir Drakar?" he spoke softly. "we need to talk" he glacned at Mary then back at Kazuma. "in private, please, meet there tonight. 1900 hours." he went to his room.

RYOU MISAKI The Merging 3:45 "My story?" Ryou asked a little confused. "Sure I guess..." Ryou sat back down against a tree. "This all started about 7 years ago, even though Hina's been missing for 4. When I was a little kid, I lived in the Violetta Mansion, perhaps you recall a little kid that would always play with Hanna? That was me. One day, Hanna and I were playing outside the town, and met Hina for the first time. Hina was so nice to us, her caravan of demons and other half demons shunned us, she was the only accepting one. Then, three years had gone by, Hanna and I weren't together as much, even though I had promised to always protect her when i was 9. Hina hadn't shown up again in those past three years. The day she did come back, however, the Violetta raided the caravan, and killed everyone in it, except for Hanna, and Hina. They took Hina away to the Max Security Prison, and Hanna back to the mansion. The Violetta looked for survivors, they found none. They had killed me as well, as a half-demon, I was banished from the depths of hell, to roam the earth. I have no place in heaven or hell. I am a wandering soul. The Violetta took my life away from me, and I lan to do the same for those dogs!" Ryou finished his story, now angry. His emotions flared up easily. His story was true, there was not a hint of falseness in his voice as he told it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HINA KAGUYA 3:45 Violetta Mansion/Prison As Hina was taken away, she muttered these last few words to Hanna, "Go...go meet Ryou..at... The Merging..." She was them taken back to the prison and locked up in the cell. The only good thing that came out of it was that the cuffs were finally taken off her wrists. Hina sat back down on her stone of a bed, and sighed. "Hanna...why have you changed so much in these past 4 years..."
