@ SMILE

what do you mean by batch processing action?

@ Nero

From what I've experienced, yes.

@ Be-chan

you mean small animated clips?
All you have to do is look for a set of animated screenshots.

@ Dragonfly

Rollover action?
Hm...well I'm not good at Imagready, but let's see
basically there are 7 types of frames in Rollover:

1.Normal - is the animation you usually see, before you hover/click the gif
2. Over - this frame appears when you "hover" your mouse to the image
3. Down - this frame appears when you click the image, this maintains when you hold click
3. Click - this frame appears when you click the image once, this maintatins when your mouse arrow does not move away from the image
4. Out - this frame appears when you roll your mouse away from the image
5. Up - I think this frame is pretty much related to the DOwn type, but this thing is quite futile.
6. Custom - this type of frame requires java script, so it's pretty complex
7. None - to maintain the state of the image

I only know the terms, but I have less knowledge towards its functions.
I think it requires slices to do this
I'm open for corrections C:

How do I actually make avatars that move around~? For example, I want an avatar like Be-chan, can you tell me how to do that in ImageReady.

If you know how to use basic Photoshop then that would be a piece of cake in Imageready
can you be specific? like, do you want tips? Or stuck on something?

(This is probably the stupidest question I have ever asked on this thread...)

Q: What's a GIMP?

What if I jump out
of this speeding jeepney?
Fly without wings
Reach for the grey-painted heaven
And out into the sea of infinity?

But I heard you can make nice avatars using GIMP ^^
try to use the power of google, you'll understand

Yeah I need help with Adobe ImageReady and gifs. I want to make a gif animation off a an anime I have, and I can't import the video it self. So I hit my print scrn and pasted it in Imageready. I cropped out the extra stuff, but when I play my video it also plays in Image ready -(T.T)- When ever I hit select all and copy, it copies the same layer with the active screen of my player. I don't know what to do -(☼o☼)- This program scares me -(T.T)- I hit duplicate slides and I get the same active anime screen. It there some way I can take advantage of the anime playing in Image Ready?? Like record? Or tell me how I can make lots of pics of the part I want... of coarse the pics have to be readable to IR. The anime is in VLC media player. I am dieing form this program. grrrr arrrggghhh save me plz!!!!!!!

I don't really see anything but a black box.
Did you order your layers correctly?
Time them correctly? etc.?

Well I don't know anything. I can't get a saved animation. But what I see is what is playing in my VLC media player. Kinda glad you can't see anything, other wise it'll be scary.

Don't hit duplicate slides since it will only duplicates the same layer all over again.
First of all, take several screenshots frame by frame (more or less)
the screenshots should go to the source directory.
Copy them and paste on a new layer in imageready,
take note, ONE layer per frame.
If you're using VLC media player, don't use Print Screen, use the hotkey ctrl+alt+s (i think that's the default hotkey)
Make sure you set your source directory of the screenshot to a folder.

(the gif animation is tooo big, I recommend you resize them first)

Yes, thank you. I needed to know is how to get screens off it. That is what I was trying to do at first, put the print scrn just shows what I am playing in VLC player. It is very scary, then I thought that other people would see what is playing in my VLC player. But others can't so who cares.
------------------------
I set up video snapshot dictionary to a new folder. I go to video>snapshot then a little box of the pic shows in the left corner. I go see the file in the dictionary folder but nothing is their. What did I do wrong (O.O) This program makes me feel dumb (*o*)
----------
Got the screens now (☼o☼)/
-----------------
I did it and resized it now lets see.....

I'm sure somebody has answered this before, but can anybody give me a link to a site where I can download photoshop? I understand this isn't neccessarily legal (to say the least) but I can't get my GIMP program to work properly. I'm pretty sure Imp knows where haha. If you can't give me a link, can you give me a reccomendation of a site? Because I don't want a trial version, I think. XD

Thanks in advance!

@ Eureka

If you want a cracked version of Photoshop CS2 there are a million torrent files about that in the net.
I found it searching through torrentspy, but you need a Bitorrent client to download them.
Also, you need a program such as PowerISO to mount it for activation purposes.
I'm prety sure you'll understand the method when you see the instructions while downloading it C:

Are you talking about a .gif?
Like, using ImageReady, or something different?

@ princess cookie

well for that matter you just have to edit the eyes manually.
1st frame contains a picture of eyes open,
2nd frame half closed
3rd frame eyes closed
2nd frame half closed
1st frame eyes open

I think that's all to it XD
