S.Attack is for those special skills. skills that does not damage others with a weapon. an example is Kay's Waltz of the Endless Moon, Dance of the Endless Moon and Grave of the Moon. S.Defense is well, defense against those S.Attack. |

Alright then next question, how exactly does defense go against attack? Like, does defense decrease the total damage taken? If so, then by how much? |

hmm...defense eh...when a player attacks a defending character, the damage will be reduced...by 75% |

I think I came up with a equation for that already. If oyu remember "GUARD" from all basic skill trees. The attack, take away the total defense equals the total damage a character takes. Alright then, but then what exactly do the defense in the character's stats do in a fight? Or how should I word this... aside for defending, what else does defense affect? (like how armor slightly lowers the damage taken even if the character didnt play "GUARD") Does defense only apply when your defending? |

well, if you check the damage calculator on my character's profile, you'll see what's it's also used for. also, you defense also apply when guarding(since it's already calculated), just that the damage done to you is reduced |

@Kay: Alright, well that eds that... @ Karuzo: Thanks, I'll wait on the others and add them up. However the elemental axes might be too rare to be considered a normal item(to be honest, they seem a bit more like axes that already have an adder on them). Do you still want me to add them? @ All: Lets see... we worked out just about all the things in the dark already. only problem now would be... enemy monsters. *sighs* I've hadent enough time to make up any. I'm letting you guys make the rest of them up, since I'm unfortunatly incapable of doing so. The current list is here. You guys dont have to worry about higher classes right now, but the lower classes you guys will probably be fighting the most at your current levels havent been made up yet. Feel free to post up suggestions! |

hmm...i'll put up the lists of weapons you guys suggested, as well as the min level to equip them, their rarity rate, adder slots and pricing...but it might take awhile though |

@ Karuzo: Alright, take your time. ^^. The weapons do mostly check out. But isnt a hammer with a gun a bit... much? Also the knuckle and gun combination sounds a bit special agent like. But just on a side note, auto weapons and such are a rareity in the current timeline TOS takes place in. Standard issue muskets are like the painstakingly slow to load muskets that took about a minute to load. Just remember, weapons that have rapid fire arms are a rarity in the current age. Also I'll have to rate the other weapons later. (I got addicted to "ROME: TOTAL WAR" for the 10th time. (or want it in that matter) Isayana Armor: Grey Yukata: A grey colored Yukata. Made from a strong Goram wool. + 60 defense. Blockwood Slippers: Slippers of wood, though somhow comfortable they where never really meant to be used outside in the wilderness, let alone the battlefeild. Ones without any mark is classed as "LEGENDARY" Powerful weapons, and magical custom armor worn by heroes of today and yesterday. **** Grand Rare: Items won in boss fights, trophies, or a character's most precious keepsakes. *** Very Rare: Items you're pretty licky to find, things like weapons with augumentations or anything made from precious rune. ** Rare: things made from matiriel better than Steel, or novelty items such as hero dolls. * you can find this everywhere (newbie stuff and such) |

XD No really, it does come in hands to know weapon gold values and things like that when you want to sell a weapon, so new characters can have a choice at what they want to start out with, next other NPC characters will probably be armed with some of those armor peices and weapons, finally, you never know when the plot forces you to be armed with somthing that isnt your standard armor Basically it's a pretty handy reference that might become useful in the future. But yeah, the thing to be focusing on would probably be making up monsters. Right now that is somthing that needs the most attention right now. @ Karuzo: Fine, but that'll be for your character ONLY. Also I had to note that I'll have to give a note on the timeline, it's say similar to late medieval era. The gun weapons are limited to old flintlock arms which took about qa minute to load. (if there was things like machine guns allowed, then there wouldnt be any use for swords!) @ All: I'll have to ask that the Submanchine Guns, and other more advanced weapons be removed to keep the timeline from going haywire. Also we need NPC monsters! I cant think of any! (though if you guys dont mind, do you want me to steal other monsters from other RPGs and put them in here?) Edit: Changed Link to Weapons and Armor in first post to go to Kay's table. Also made link to "Known Monsters" to the other monster table Kay also made. Also Other Character's Weapons: Isayana's Weapons: Gold Plated Fan: A weapon used by an old unnamed cult from early history. The cult was famed for weilding the Heavy fans with grace. The heavy mass of the fdans allow for them to move air on a large scale. And in melee, they can be quite devestatin to an unprepared opponent. Attack + 120 Ken's Weapon's: Pitterak Hammer: a hammer with a steel ball attatched on a chain. A special custom weapon that requires many years of practice and strength. Once masteredm, the weapon can pose a grave threat to most any opponent. ATK + 150 |

@ All- ok thank you for that but it will take time for Cyrac and Alynka to use them, for now i must focus on melee and cyrac's Gunblade well there will be story for that but it will take time..... @Karuzo, actually, it's not really that way....i think. we don't really need NPCs for all those....for items and stuff, just head to the item store in any towns.what he meant is monsters for random battles.. @Ugo, for the guns, i'm borrowing ideas from ragnarok online. also, i think it's best if we have an industrialized town, since it's a medieval+some technological advancement type of RP (which explains the airships). i'm going to remove the machine gun also. @All, when suggesting ideas for weapons, please include their attacking power and rarity. also, do not over kill thy weapon. one more thing!* no laser equipments and stuff. *in Uncle(from Jackie Chan adventures) accent |
