JUDGE LAWSON I vote for Kohana. Her voice sounds sweet in the upper range. After the key change she really shined. She used her vibrato well on a few held out notes. Her lower range doesn't have a lot of presence, and she should watch the note she hits at the key change. Kero had a lot of power in her voice, and she hit most of her pitches well. Her tone sounded flat at times, and she should relax more on the high notes. I vote for Erkun. He has a good voice with a nice vibrato. His phrasing on the wordy parts of the verse was nice. If he brightens his tone in his lower register a bit he'll have it all together. Enger is good at transitioning between her chest voice and her head voice, and her notes have good support. There were a few flat notes, and she can work on making her tone less nasal. I pick Shioyee. She has a good voice, phrasing, good breath control, and all the pitches were on. Couldn't ask for more. Miky has a sweet voice and hits all her pitches. Some of the higher notes were flat, and the upper register in general could use more support. I vote for Creed. He has a great tone with a powerful voice that conveys a lot of emotion. A few of the high notes were flat, and overall the higher register sounds forced. The beginning of the verses could have more umph as well. Mina's tone is nice, and her subtle vibrato is very soothing. I didn't feel captivated by her singing. She could use dynamics to maintain the interest of the listener better. I pick ryoko. She hit her pitches well and has good power throughout her range. It sounds like she swallows her high notes at times, and the end of phrases tended to be flat. Nice vibrato. Drather sounds really smooth, and he hit his pitches well. Overall his singing needed more energy, especially near the end of the song. ***************** JUDGE NANO [KERO VS KOHANA:] My choice: KOHANA Reasoning: It was a very good match, but just that overall, Kero was a bit more pitchy in certain places. Good job to both. [SHIOYEE VS MIKY:] My Choice: SHIOYEE Reasoning: Another great match. I choice Shioyee because though both were great, she took it one step further and added her groove. Her taste. Not too many people can do that. [ERKUN VS ENGEL] My Choice: ENGEL Reasoning: Again, the main issue was pitchiness. Erkun was a bit more pitchy, and I felt that Engel captured the message and feeling of her song better. [DRATHER VS RYOKO] My Choice: RYOKO Reasoning: Another hard choice! Too opposites here though. Ryoko with her power and Drather with his sensitivity. Both works, in terms of singing. But just in this competition, I heard more will from Ryoko. She left an impression. [CREED VS MINATSUCHAN] My Choice: MINATSUCHAN Reasoning: Creed here, though he sounded very nice, needs to learn the lyrics a bit more. I think he sang most of the lyrics wrong in someway. It's surprising how much it can take away from a song. I hope I don't sound too harsh saying that, but it's very important, unfortunately. Minatsuchan, on the otherhand chose a very fresh song. And her voice was a breath of fresh air! I really thought I was hearing Utada Hikaru! ************************* JUDGE PAME Kero vs. Kohana My choice: Kohana Reasoning: This was hard...Kohana chose a really nice song to show her voice, little problems in the low register, but when she hit the high notes she truly shined. Really nice vibratto too. Kero on the other hand has the presence that Kohana lacks sometimes. but her intonation is not as good. I like Kero's voice a lot, but I had to pick Kohana based on technicality. Erkun vs Engel My choice: Geez another hard one! Engel Reasoning: Erkun has a great voice, awesome tone and great vibratto. Engel has her own style protrayed in every song she sings and the right emotion put into it. This time it was Interpretation against technicality. And as hard as it is...Engel has technique, not superb, but she has it, and her interpretation was flawless. Erkun's technique is superb, but he could have added more power and emotion into his voice. Shioyee vs Miky My choice: Can it get any harder than this match? *sighs Reasoning: This was truly hard...I was stuck on this match for a loong time...both of you chose a great song to show off your voice...and to me it was tie...really...it was really hard to choose between both of you...the only thing that made me pick one was the vocal potential ...Miky did amazing with this song, pitch amazing and great emotions...Shioyee on the other han, picked something different of what she is used to do, and she did awesome. Pitch perfect, plue she added her own style into it, which Miky was the reason I choose Shioyee. Both of you did amazing. Minatsuchan vs Creed My choice: Minatsuchan Reasoning: Creed has a great voice, but I felt you tried too hard with this song, maybe trying to sound too much like the singer and slurring your words. Work on that because you have tremendous potential I want to hear the real Creed. Minatsuchan, you have a great fresh voice and this song was amazing. Try adding a bit more dynamics to your voice and you'll be the best. Ryoko vs Drather My choice: Ryoko Reasoning: Drather, I seriously love your voice...you have great high notes and an amazing vibratto, sadly...This song wasn't the beeest to show that off. I'm dying to hear another song of you that will show all the amazing qualities you have. Ryoko, you shined with this song...Awesome job! START MAKING YOUR ASSUMPTIONS....JUDGE SAKURANEKO AND EVE COMING NEXT! U STILL HAVE TIME TO VOTE! |

Hard decision but: 1. Kero: I like your husky voice and I think it gives the competition a different sort of race. I like your song too, Kohana, but Kero wins my vote. 2. Erkun : Your attempt on a Chatmonchy song is praiseworthy :) Very smooth performance there. 3. Miky 4. Minatsu 5. Ryoko : The song is actually one of my most favorite songs, and kudos on your attempt. Your performance has a lot of feeling in them. Keep up the good work. :)  |

OMG all the songs are great so difficult to decide T__T 1. I liked Kohana's song a little more, just a little, because both were amazing, First love is a nice song! 2. Engel~! I love your version of Sakura Biyori, it's the best! *fan* 3. My vote goes to Shioyee, I enjoyed listening to her song a lot, it's different and nice, catchy ^_^. Miky's song was superb too 4. I think this is the most difficult group, both did an amazing job... I think Creed sang "last song" so perfectly, but I can't help voting for Minatsuchan, she did incredibly awesome. I seriously would like to vote for both here, but unfortunatelly I can't. 5. Hard indeed, but my vote goes for Ryoko here, completely nice!. |

Wow, so many Utada songs XD And First Love was sang twice, and even I sang Stay Gold by her My votes- 1. Even though I LOVE Sakura Modern, I vote for Kohana 2. Engel 3.
