Sorry, I can't give out merit points :P And simply ask Gendou why your level goes down, he should tell you. |

Thanks to spoilers I know not to watch Saikano. I hate sad. I myself like ground units more than air, so despite the fact your F-14 can kill my M-1 Abraham. Try one of these, the Goliath. The only air units that can take this thing on 1on1 are the Battlecruiser and Carrier. ![]() |

Ranger wants to know what a Goliath is. He also says It takes at least two AGM-65s to kill and M1. I have no idea what an AGM-65 is. Oh it's a laser/video guided air to groumd missile, of course AGM. As long as spoilers have been posted, I stopped watching Saikan because it was to depressing. Ranger: Nightmare what is your fav plane, I ain't gonna laugh. I got started in B-52s the "Buff" however I only spen a couple of years there. It was found out in a phsych test that I would never turn the nuclear consent key so they transfered me to fighter-bombers. I think I'm going to start. Ninja in the sim we fly both the A and D variants and you can tell them apart from the addition of hardpoints close to the fuslage adapted to drop bombs. The F-14 was never meant to do that but the did it anyway. The F-14 and the F-16 are two of my fav planes. [/Ranger] ![]() ![]() |

ROQ-san, Tagalog is... I dunno, but I could teach yae the basics. Since some of words were derived from Spanish ones, yae can easily tell. And the practical exam was piece 'a cake! I guess that's the advantage of having to work hard on performing the experiments yourself. Yae won't have worries for practical exams! By the end of prelims week, we'll have a retreat, then science week with all those fun! Can't wait though, but still, we should prepare for the exams. |

Ranger, a Goliath is a two-legged mech armed with daul machine guns and a hellfire missile pack. They're even better if you get the range upgrade for the missiles, too ^_^ Too bad they're Terran... I could own a fully upgraded goliath with a single little Hydralisk ^_^ Stats, Goliath: ![]() ATA: I dunno, something high. ATS: like 12+3 or something like that... Defense: Maybe 1+3...? HP: I think 125, but I'm not sure. Movement speed: Slow :P Price: More expensive than a hydra is all I know. Food cost: 2 I think...? Special abilities: None. I don't use Terran, obviously ^_^; Stats, Hydralisk: ![]() ATA/ATS: 10+3 Defense: 0+3 HP: 80 Movement speed: Average, but a speed upgrade is available. Price: 75 minerals, 25 gas. Food cost: 1 Special abilities: Burrow, Lurker morph (lurkers are wayy cooler than hydras, but they can't get air units T.T) As you can see, Hydralisks just on a flat out 1 on 1 fight against Goliaths get owned. However, I have 1337 skills involving any unit killing... I'd rather use an Ultralisk, though. Those behemoths are BEASTLY! Seriously, Gendou's not scary. Just be nice to him and donate ^_^ |

Hmmm, cool mech and Hydralisk, very cool... @Rukia-san, thanks for the offer, I'ld love to learn! Derived from Spanish, really? Interesting, I'm taking French now, but I used to take Spanish...maybe I'll remember. Je ne sais pas...I'll start going through the Tagalog threads to get a hang of it too. I'm very glad your practical went well, great job! My semester exams are next week, so I have to study all weekend...Good luck on yours! @dirtyninja, great joke! Another classic! On my freetime, I'm drawing a comic strip for my friends and possibly the school, with your permission, I would love to draw your character (or anyone else's) in it, it would be funny...maybe I'll look to this thread for new chracters too... Sayonara everyone, good luck! |

Your school has comics? That the students can submit?! That's cool,my school isn't really like that. In my psychology class today our teacher mesmerized us with the spinny black and white line thing which spins around around around until your almost transfixed with it. At first the circle(which is spun automatically on a machine facing us) looks like a square spinning slowly although you know its actually a cirlce going very fast. When our teacher said "I want you to think of a tire rolling on the road." it turned into a circle moving very slowly. It was called THE POWER OF SUGGESTION. It works kinda like sublimenal messages. When we looked at it spin for about 3-4 minutes we looked at a fake flower roughly the size of 1 foot. It grew to about 5 feet as we stared at it. The reason being was that we were concentraiting on a moving image for so long that every still image we focused on was out of proportion and was getting back into proportion by growing to its correct size and shape. Here's a neat experiment tested by psychologist. A crowd of people(completely unaware of the experiment)were watching a 1 hour long movie in which every 1 out of 24 frames per second was a image of popcorn and Coke that said "Popcorn and Coke is an excellent combo." Every split second(less than that really) the people would see that image subconciously and never notice it by the eye while they were watching the actual movie. After the movie they were asked by a survey team posing as theater inspectors and asked the audience if there was anything wrong with the picture. Nobody noticed the split second of popcorn and coke images going on about every second of the film. Coke and popcorn sales went up 300% during that showing of the movie. |

Kotuso, I've heard the coke thing before, and if you think that was interesting you here this one. Basically it was the same premise, a large audience in a theater, but with one difference, the audio track was changed. Every 4 minutes or so a blurb about going to the bathroom was played. It said, "go to the bathroom," only it was played slowly and backwards. As a result 45% of the audiences went to the bathroom during the movie. Isn't subliminal messaging wonderful. ケイ, I get my jokes from a wide source, aka the internet. Roq, I would be honored *bows* if I were to be incorporated in your comic, just be sure to put in some jokes, like this one *note: this not the joke for the day* So three guys walk into a bar, and the fourth one ducks. So bad, so bad. Now for the feature presentation. Jon goes to the local novelty shop and finds a pair of x-ray glasses. He checks them out, and isn't fully convinced, but as usual the store assistant comes along and closes the deal. On his way home, Jon puts on his new x-ray glasses and, bingo! He sees everyone in the street naked. He takes them off for a moment, and everyone has their clothes on. He puts the glasses back on... everyone is naked! "Cool!" As he arrives back home, he is eager to show his new toy to his wife, Judi, but can't find her. He goes up to the bedroom and finds his wife and the postman, naked in bed. He takes his glasses off, and the two are still naked. He puts them back on, and they are still naked. Jon then says: "Darn, I just paid fifty bucks for these glasses and they're broken already!" |
Re: The Depression Thread Continued

Yeah, they did an experiment where in a shopping mall they played the usual elevator music and had the words "shooplifting is bad" or "don't steal" very quietly so that it was almost impossible to hear it. The shoplifting rate did go down for whenever they played the audio with the music. Shopping places use elevator music to calm you down and relax yourself so you will not rationalize about buying more than you need. The power of suggestion thing my psychology teacher was doing to us during the "hypnotizing" was basically what you did on the afraid of the mysterious and psychology thread. |

Kotsuo the expirment with the coke and popcorn is called subliminal advertising and is illegal in the US. The penalties are very stiff. Lady Rin is sick again with a fever. I don't get scared, but I am now. She can't afford to be sick so soon again cause she lost too much weight last time and I am very worried. I didn't need to come home and find her in bed again. why has she been so sick this year. Why hasn't anything gone right since xmas? Why can't I get sick instead of her. I am very depressed and lonely right now. I don't know what to do and I want Rin better. |

alright, my favorite aircraft is the SR-71 blackbird. yea its a spy plane...yea it has no armerment...but im sorry this thing can outrun ANYTHING! and has an insain celing. i know it leaks like a sive at low altitudes...but once she gets up there...man, she is on sleek beauty! and Ranger, i dont think anyone mentiond this. but the Goliath is from a game called Starcraft. tell rin im worried too and im praying for her. ive been really stressed out latly..i don't know why...my meditating time has been 0 for too long. im starting to feel physical effects too. not to mention my depression is getting worse again because of it. and it looks like it will be going on for at liest another 2 weeks. not even sleep is helping anymore. because my dreams are being haunted by my worries about emmy, Stephen, and especially Alyssa. even Ketsuki moving out and Rin being sick have gotten into my head. My mind has been quite sadistic latly when it comes to my dreams...i have had 3 (that i remember) dreams where Alyssa got hurt or died becaus of her grief...those are the worst...by far. what i would not give for a pieceful graveyard strole...or burn some insence and relaxe for hours...but there is no rest for me yet. |

I'm sure we all want Rin to get better. Just talk, post, laugh, try to ease yourself out of the stress you're in. It seems the dirtyninja show of jokes is playing a double feature. Never ever take a sleeping pill and a laxative in the same night. Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs. Teacher: Willy, name one important thing we have today that we didn't have ten years ago. Willy: Me Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana. A gossip is someone with a great sense of rumor. Without geometry, life is pointless. When you dream in color, it's a pigment of your imagination. Condoms should be used on every conceivable occasion. Reading whilst sunbathing makes you well-red. When two egotists meet, it's an I for an I. Alarms: What an octopus is. I should do double features more often. |

Can't do that ninja. She lost 10% of her weight last time i'm afraid if she loses much more she's going to be in danger. if she get's any worse over the next hour or so I'll take her to the ER. You guys have no idea how small she is |
Re: The Depression Thread Continued

I'm pretty small too, like 91 pounds small. I'm 15 so I should be like in the 100-135 pounds for an average weight. I've had the flu and gone down to 70 pounds when I should have been at 91. Wasn't really problematic,I got to eat a lot though. |

Is she so small that your afraid that she, like fine porcelain, if made any smaller would crack under her own weight? I wish I still had some pictures of my girlfriend, she was tiny. 5'2", 90lbs, tiny. I never saw her deftly ill but I can still relate to the smallness factor. |

Critic want's to know why I am the way I am tonight and why I'm kicking the shit out of the bikers in the bar. Those of you who knowe me and have read this stuff before can skip it. You know what it's about. Critic, without the girl we call Lady Rin my life is at a loss. She is my everything to me and has been for almost 23 years. Without Lady Rin (her real name is Janet) I will probably take a gun put it to my head and pull the trigger. If I'm lucky I'll get in 2 shots. I depend on her. Not share with her although that is amajor part of her but depend. She kee[s m,y sanity straight, keeps me from going over the deepend and lived through my nightmares so long that they invade her dreams. You only see her as a mod and member of Gendou. What yo don't see is who Rin is. Rin is 5ft tall and normally weighs in around 100lbs. Rght now she is below 90lbs. Unlike most people she is forever sweet, that's her personality. She has no hate only love and only wishes the best for everyone. You can see that here in her posts. In our real lives I protect her from the world, she protects me from myself. Add to that there is a large difference in our ages, almost 20 years and the fear we share the most is being without the other. rin has been sick 4 times since the school year started (she teaches) Flu, 24 hur bug, strp throat a week and a half ago and now this. she is not a sickly person, I have a friend like that and her getting sick this soon after the strep has be very worried. I have been eating my meds like they were candy. I cant have a drink since I might have to drive down the mountain tonight and that can be dangerous road in the dark. Rin's frine dWendy is here ans told me to write, that's wy I'm posting now. There's more. Over the last few weeks nothng has gone right. My oldest girl arrected for cocaine possesion even thought she was a passenger in the car and the cops have said she was not involved. The law they say have to bust her. the national park rangers have taken to regular checking of my certifications and permits and even cited me for calling myself ranger. I don't call myself Ranger other people do. It is a nickname, a proper noune nt a title and I've had it for years. all of a sudden the rangers are on my case about that. Check my cards and certifications a couple of times a week, permits and more. Why now? I've known most of them for years and they all call me Ranger (proper noun). The guy who cited me even said he likes the regular article I write for the hi desert paper. The name of the column, "Ranger" Steve, the name under which I write books, give tours, teach classes on the desert including survival and trail safety. I take about 100+ people into that park each week year round, 5000+ every year just on bus tours. That doesn not inclusde a few hundred more on private tours. With the permits and fees I pay about $10,000 into that park every year and have done so for several years. I provide and education into the desert, puff up the park service and this is the thanks I get? For what. why do I do this? It's not for the money that's for damned sure. So what do I get as my reward for a job well done, for support of our ecology and environment. they try to steal my identity, who I am, "Ranger" Steve. I've been gong into that park nonger than any ranger who workds there. Over 40 years. fuck them. And now Rin sick twice in less than a month. It's more than I can handle right now. so Bikers, baddies, park rangers, cops and and the owner of that bar on the corner, keep your hands in your pockets, face away from me, keep your mouths shut and you won't get hurt and I won't destroy the place. I am angry, depressed worried about my love and being knocked down by the tranqs. gotta go, cars coming up the drive. Why???? Rin';s best frined Wendy is here taking care of us, she wants me in bed. Like Lady Rin asks so do I. Please do this for her tonight. Before you go to bed, open your window and wish upon a star, then leave a place in your garden for faeires to dance. Make a wish, pray for the recovery of Milady. the pills are taking me down now, I'll be back in the morning. Portraits of Lady Rin ![]() ![]() |
