Lets see... Home Computer (XP): Rarely used, so its off alot. Family Laptop (XP): On it right now, its been on a week at least, but its the longest it ever been on, especially since it became my "torrent backup computer". Store Comp. (Back, XP): Its been on at least a month on end, it being used everyday and night (torrents...). It's currently "jumpy" and we're keeping it off when not in use. Store Comp. (D-carrier, dont ask what that is...,Win2000): Get turned on and off frequently everyday. Store Comp. (Register, Win 98 and 2000): Its been on propably a year at least, seriously. It's never been off since our store was started about 2 years ago, at least to my knowledge.

5 days ^^ to download torrents..and more torrents.. recently only been keeping it on for 2days..coz i feel that i might need a rest :P  |

Think it was like a month. Though, since my cousin's been staying with us, I've been having to restart everyday -_-. It's always something. That's why I put the Parental Controls on his ass XDD. No more hurting my baby >=3

for everyday: 14 hours. when my fav. show is about to start and Im about to take a bath.. when downloading: about 4 days.  |

for about 4 months i guess, its my lappy and its winter that months, i dont know why i dont turrn off my lappy does months and now that lappy is too slow now its resting peacefully hahaha  |

Haha, funny you're asking that. I have a gadget that tells me how long I've kept my laptop on for (counting standby cuz the computer is still on as the data from the RAM is still kept "alive" by sucking power) Longest time was a month plus 2 weeks. For the current one I have that's on my profile. ASUS F3SV-B1 The previous one was like 2 months. HP Pavillion AMD Processor And the one before that was 3 weeks. Toshiba Satellite A35 All of them still work, and still in perfect condition. Mainly because I do semi-annual routine maintenance by taking the whole thing apart, cleaning, lubricating moving parts and etc. Monthly maintenance by taking the cover off and blowing off dust out of the fans, defragmenting HDDs, running memory tests and etc. (The current and previous laptops didn't require me to shut down and pull out the battery for monthly maintenance.) My avg time on however is 3-4 days. For my desktop, 3 months was the best so far. That's because Windows did a automatic restart for it's updates...  |
