Another memorable moment is when Michiru and Minagi say goodbye to each other. Btw, what is their connection to Misuzu/Kanna and Yukito/Ryuuya?   |

» Sai, well I have 10+ episodes dLed and I'm on 9 (episode 9 to watch still) but whatever. It's weird because I saw the first episode on cable, dubbed and uncensored, but it was also not free. Guess I should buy it online or at the mall... ^_^; Anyways, I do see a connection between them, but then at times I don't really see anything related between them, too. You can say they're related by Kanna and Ryuuya's personal connection/bond with each other, similar with Yukito and Misuzu, although I don't think they actually expressed that in public since Yukito turned into a Crow and Misuzu began to change. Ryuuya and Uraha ended up together to carry on Ryuuy's will to find Kanna or something, I forget... But overall, the ending is very sad. Sai's right about Misuzu' death being part of a better story line, but it hurts even more if you think about it deeply. D:

I cryed at this anime a lot.I just love it.The graphic,the storyline and songs are perfect. The TV series are drama but the movie is very romantic *.*  |

I dLed some false movie before, when it was some OVA or something. I'm currently dLing the eight parts needed, and when they're done, I'll combine them so I can see it without any kind of hassles in between. I should see this movie in about a day and a half or so. Since I'm using MegauL without a premium account, it takes longer after a few dLs, but it should be worth it. After that, I'll be finished with this series entirely. :3

Air was one of the few 'newer' anime which had enough impact, expacially emotional, since anime started Atleast thats from my point of view, I can honestly say I cried my heart out more than once in the whole series, especially in the ending, as well as in the OVA *becoming teary-eyed* its inro theme is actualy in my mp3 player and it still brings tears to my eyes where-ever i hear it.

I don't suppose anyone (mainly you guys in the states) have thought about buying it now that ADV has started releasing it on DVD? Supposedly they plan to release the Movie once the third volume comes out. After watching it more than a year ago though, I still can't watch the ending credits....that song just makes me want to cry after finishing it..... The background song summer days (or whatever it's called) is really nice too.

its wierd that the tv series and the movie have alternate endings. in the tv yukito dies turns into a crow and the girl lives, in the movie the girl dies and the guy lives a sad life not marrying another girl in both cases they are sad. i want to find a site where i can buy the air hgame. i wonder if its a pedophile type game. I enjoyed the hgame fatestaynight where to refill saber's energy shirou has to ???? her.   |

Reading h4xOr's post reminds me...has anybody seen the dub version of AIR yet? I'm just wondering if ADV did any justice to it.....hearing an english version of 'Gao' just seems kinda strange. Although if the voice actress does it well enough i may consider picking up the DVDs...i do know that ADV is using very capable actors for the dub so i have high hopes. @ オオカミ-san Well there are multiple versions of the AIR visual novel (9 in total). There are the all ages versions & the H-game versions. The 1st release for PC only had very little adult content...mostly just nudity...scarse sexual scenes. If you want the FULL adult version you'll need to look for "AIR:STANDARD EDITION". If you are lucky some torrent sites still have the game up for grabs. You can alos purchase the game at Himeya-soft...where i think it goes for 70-90 bucks....haven't checked in quite awhile. I think h4xOr meant "Summer Lights"...which is the main theme of AIR...it plays when you first start the game. Sort of like "Tide" in CLANNAD, "Hope" in Tomoyo After, & "Pure Snows" in KANON. I agree with Sai-san completely....as soon as "Aozora" starts playing your heart & feelings just.....you know.....it's an emotionally charged song which Lia does such a brilliant job on. It's one of the songs & scenes you remember for a long time.  |

I saw the first episode, it wasn't that bad but the "Gaoo" did sound kind of weird. It's like... compare the subbed vs. dubbed, but you have to see it for yourself because I don't really want to diss it. It wasn't bad, but it's like "I still prefer the Japanese version", y'know? After watching the first episode dubbed, the quality is so friggin' nice. I dLed the series and the movie here on my computer, but seeing the first episode on my TV, my eyes were widely OPENED! It was insane. The clouds looked so nice... man... ^,^`

Hmm, I don't think those young kids are Kanna and Ryuuya. People say Kanna and Ryuuya have a similar relationship with Misuzu and Yukito and some say they're different. I don't remember it 100%, but I remember Yukito saying something about the kids on the beach that one episode. He said something like it was their beginning when it was his end (since Misuzu and Yukito have tragic endings). If you look closely during the intro ("Tori no Uta", Lia), you can see an angel flying around those beautiful, gorgeous clouds. That angel was Kanna, I believe.

Yeah those two kids are like the "start" of a new journey when Yukito's and Misuzu's are about to end, break, etc. It's very sad, yet very in depth (I love that kind of stuff).
