Just pre-ordered Killzone 3 on Amazon. Can't wait to get it on release day. Games I'm probably going to trade in: UFC 2010 (after I get some more trophies for it), AC:B (I can't play with anyone else and it's getting boring playing pretty much by myself and nobody uses mics - or they suck), Narutimate Storm 1, Madden 11, and probably 3D Dot Heroes later on after I beat it and get some more trophies from it. I got some money from Lunar New Year or whatever, just have to deposit that soon but I have a good amount for KZ3. I saw the Team Ico bundle for less than 40!!! And according to Amazon.com it releases next month? That has to be off... And I know TLG is pushed back to next year so I wouldn't get that over AC3 anyways. Also according to Amazon.com, Battlefield 3 is releasing this year apparently, WTF! Can't wait for E3, should hear about all these new titles, it's gonna be ballin'. But yeah hopefully I get something for the games I trade in at Gamestop. Hopefully they give me some credit for it. I can use that to pay off AC3 in the future or so, but we'll see. Now me, Jon, and Izumo have pre-ordered it. I've been sniper raping everyone lately so I can't wait to do it on other maps. ^_^ P.S. Thought about trading in Narutimate Storm 2 since finding decent lobbies is horrible.

@ DA Don't know where you live, but where I'm at I get better trade in value at Best Buy. Just something to consider.

lol, I honestly didn't know you could trade in games at Best Buy. Hmm do you get store credit or cash value back? My friend said online is sometimes better like on eBay and such, but I don't like the paypal system with eBay. I was just getting some more trophies in UFC last night, hopefully that and AC:B plus Naruto 1 and Madden are more than enough for the Team Ico bundle.

You get a store credit, but games at Best Buy are usually cheaper or equal in price to Gamestop. Just make sure they have what you want before you trade your games in. EDIT: I found links For Best Buys in USA, it has online credit estimates. For Best Buys in Canada, not nearly as exciting... And the UK too, sorta...

Hmmm, although I have like no more credit left on my GS Edge card, doesn't show a price for other games I'm willing to trade in. All I see is 25$ for AC:B which is good, honestly it should be 30 or higher. Mostly all the new games even like Black Ops or LBP2 are only 25$. I got 30$+ alone when I traded in MW2 a few months back. I pre-ordered KZ3 on Amazon and did get free shipping, although I paid the extra 99 cents to get it on game-day release. Also on Amazon the Team Ico bundle is only like 38$, I gotta check Gamestop for that price. I wish you could check the value of any game online, even if it's incorrect when you trade them in in person. I think for now the last thing I'm buying period is the Team Ico bundle and that's only with GS credit. I've been spending a few big bucks online lately for clothes and the new KZ and whatnot, gotta lay off for now.

I'm picking up MvC3 today, and I've got Pokemon Black on Preorder. My brother has Dragon Age 2 preordered as well, so when he finishes that, I'll be able to play it. I'm expecting AC:B to be sent up to me within a week or two, so I'll be able to play with those who have it. Otherwise, I've got money down on a 3DS and don't plan on picking up any games for other systems for a while.  |

I really can't say that I'll be picking up Killzone 3. I'm getting LBP2 for my birthday, and if I have enough money left over to buy Tales of graces F when it's out, then I'll get MvC3. Otherwise, LBP2 will be my next game fix. Not really many games right now that appeal to me.

I've decided to trade in Naruimate Storm 2 as well. Might try to get the last of the trophies but yeah I just played online and people still play cheap. Not only that, you get bad connections from people. I hope they fix online if they make a 3rd game... lol, I might trade in ALL my games: - UFC: Undisputed 2010 (might keep it for fun purposes) - Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood - Madden '11 - Narutimate Storm 1 & 2 - 3D Dot Game Heroes ...and I'll end up getting barely 50$ for all of them together probably... *sigh* Think I'll be happier with KZ3 and the Team Ico bundle next month. ... *sigh* Games cost too much money. [EDIT] [@Stoney] Yo, check this out. I'm going to trade in my games to Amazon.com. You can actually see the price of all the games you want to trade in and it's all an easy process. Deciding to keep UFC 2010, cause it's fun still, might trade it in later, but I'll get like 111$+ for my five games! Over 30 for Narutimate Storm 2 and AC:B!!!! And over 20$ for Madden '11!! I'm going to try to print the label tomorrow. We have like three printers but none are "working"... I'm going to try to hook up one and print the label out and send it. Also the labels from Amazon are always free too so no additional shipping charges. I've returned items before to Amazon so it's pretty safe. So yeah screw Gamestop. I was almost canceling my Amazon pre-order of KZ to Gamestop so I could get 25$ extra credit. Once I find out more info on the Team Ico bundle, I'll probably pre-order that off of Amazon as well. Picking up Killzone 3 Helghast Edition tomorrow, although I probably won't be able to start playing it until Wednesday, since I have to work tomorrow night. >.> I have also decided to trade in my copy of Atelier Rorona towards Hyperdimension Neptunia. After thinking it over, I just don't think that I will ever go back to Atelier Rorona. The game makes me feel really rushed with it's time system. I lose like 3 days of in-game time just traveling to a dungeon area (and 1 or 2 days to go from one screen to another in the same dungeon) to get supplies for creating the items I need in about 27 days. It's a good game, but I can't stand being rushed in an RPG. Now I just have to look forward to Pokemon Black. I was actually planning on dressing up in costume for launch day (since I have to work that day) but unfortunately I cannot sew. I'll probably just create my trainer card and wear that in place of my name tag.    |

I just found out last night (since my sleeping hours were f'ed up), Amazon has a special 20$ promotional credit offer for pre-orders of KZ3!! YEAH!!~~ I'll get KZ3 (via mail - release date delivery) but I don't think I get any real benefits other than 3 free points. I'm still not sure how the double xp works or who really gets what cause everyone is saying different things. Also you get SOCOM 4 beta key with any purchase of KZ, so I think it works after it comes out. Although Amazon hasn't updated the picture yet, I think it's confirmed pre-orders from Amazon will get the beta key. I'll play online early to see how the double XP works cause I don't know how it will work right now. You don't even get the maps right away, they send you it two days later as well as adding in that 20$. Double XP is nice, but 20$ only adds to what will be like 100+$ when I trade in my games and they accept them. W00T!~~ P.S. Also, they recently raised the price to 59.99 and no more release date delivery. Luckily I ordered mines early and only paid 58.98 total, but with the 20$ back it's almost as much as what Amazon prices the Team Ico bundle!! Also with that, apparently it's coming out in April (from what the creator said at TGS or something last year), but Amazon changed the date to December 31st (as a default date cause it's still not confirmed or known yet) but Spring is closing in soon.

@DA - Killzone 3 also has online campaign co-op, if you're interested in playing through it with me. Also, some clarification: SOCOM 4 Beta - Comes in specially marked copies of Killzone 3, or Killzone 3 CE. My guess is that if your copy does not have it marked on the case, then the code is not included. Double XP - From what I've seen, this only comes in the Collector's Edition. I haven't seen any sites or stores offering it as a pre-order bonus. Amazon offers 3 skill points to use on upgrades in multiplayer, as well as the Retro map pack. Gamestop/EBGames also offers the map pack as a pre-order bonus, but you get 24 hour instant access to all weapons and abilities instead of skill points. I don't know the source, but my friend has been saying that the double XP is given for the first 24 hours of multiplayer gameplay, as in, you could play for 4 hours and come back to it 3 or 4 days later and still have 20 hours of double XP left. I haven't seen any details that clarify this though, so it most likely means that after you start playing MP, you have 24 hours of it regardless of when you are playing. |

Really?? When I looked through what it contained, I did see split-screen, but no online co-op. And hell yeah, depending on the whole double XP thing tomorrow, I was going to just play Warzone online tomorrow on the Frozen Dam map (not to ruin anything else). I'd play the co-op with you (there's a trophy for beating it on Elite, not sure single or apparently now co-op). I played I think Elite once before with Bots on Frozen Dam/Warzone, not that hard (I was sniping though). If you look at the trophies (the non-hidden ones), they're pretty easy to obtain, not a lot online, but there's 20 hidden ones apparently... I didn't see any online ranking related trophies yet, but I can safely bet there's going to be at least one with this type of multiplayer. The Socom 4 Beta logo could just be on the shrink wrap (since the cover already has a lot of logos on it). On Sony's forum they did confirm all orders of KZ3 would have it (especially pre-orders anyways). There are three online pre-order packs they call it. And yeah, I read that thing about the double XP, too, but that's total BS if players have double XP for that long. I know the highest level from the Beta was 45, in 24 hrs I got to level 30 or 31, and I got good XP every time after I started sniping, but double XP is ridiculous. It's either when you redeem that voucher you get or the first day (they still have midnight releases these days). I'm only going to get the game at around 2 o'clock or so when the mail comes, but that's when I wake up which could be later. From Killzone's website, Gamestop has the weapons unlocked for 24 hrs but Best Buy has the double XP. Amazon only has 3 points (which is really nothing for the most part), but the 20$ promotional credit offer which is beast. But yeah I can't find any confirmations really, so I'll just see tomorrow. I'm quickly playing online first before even tapping into the campaign, so I'll see how the double XP works. My mic's been charged so whenever you wanna play campaign let me know. My usualy times of dinner are somewhere between 8-9 cause I wait for my mom to come home and eat with her. At 12 AM/midnight, I usually leave to watch a drama on TV, and come back around 12:30 after it's over, and sometimes I like to watch Conan at 11 PM ^_^... but I can play deep into the night. I've been trying to get to sleep earlier at night around 2 ish but I still end up sleeping at like 6. When I get KZ, that'll probably be the case once more, but it's whatever. But yeah, it's gonna be fun. Can't waist for tomorrow.

@DA - I thought it did, but a quick search showed that you are right, it only has offline split-screen. I could have sworn that it was the other way around (in fact, I thought I saw it on the actual game case that it was 1 player). Crap, I must have gotten it backwards. Although, there are still modes (specifically Operations) which still operate similar to the campaign. I would still be willing to play that if you want. If they do have a squad chat in the full retail version, then I would be willing to play in online matches against other people though. Also, there is one multiplayer trophy that I do know of. You have to win one match in each of the three game modes, which is really not that bad at all. I may actually be able to Platinum this one. |

Yeah it's a shame, I think more companies need to add online co-op. It wouldn't be that hard at all. I played Operations like twice or so in the beta earlier on... didn't do so hot. One thing for sure, if we're not only on a horrible team, but eventually get spawn trapped, we're done. I went like 3-22 one time playing on a horrible squad. Even with my one friend, who's really good at FPSes. And yeah, we just have to win one game simply in Operations, Warzone, and Guerilla Warfare (Team Deathmatch basically). My stats were good in Warzone and I played a few Team Deathmatch games, not bad. Interesting to see the other maps, including the Retro ones included later on. But yeah, whatever you wanna play or do together, I'll be down. I'll figure out how squad-only chat speak works. I usually just mute the other players, not sure if they can hear me talking though, but I'unno. I'm sure I can search around to see squad chat in KZ3 multiplayer. Also there's an easy trophy for just playing in a Squad. I'm only curious about the hidden ones.

socom 4 has 5 player online co-op ;). I probably will get kz3 eventually so i can get in the socom beta. I hope zipper has revived the series since its glorious ps2 days.

Yeah I was reading people talking about that beta and what they think since SOCOM didn't do so well in its last release or something. But yeah I'll get into that too. Someone said it comes out three weeks after KZ3 releases so next month.

If at least 2 people from Gendou get SOCOM 4, then I will pick it up as well. I would love to have a 5 player co-op game to work through. Lost Planet 2 has been working out really well, but I had already been through the single player for that. It's not slated for release until April 19, so it's still quite a while off, but keep me posted if any of you guys have definite plans to buy it. |

yea the socom confrontation was developed by another studio. When i first bought it there was about 1g of updates because it was so bug ridden.

Honestly, the new Socom from what I saw I think a while back, looked interesting. Fans are already praying for a large turn-around from the last to earlier releases, so we'll see. I saw a demonstration of the game with Move, and it was very smooth. I'll play the beta. Hopefully some campaign/something comes out as well. Btw, just curious, does anyone here actually have Move? Even just the first part? It's good for easier games (like on the Wii), but from what my friends say, it's hard for more technical games (like shooters, e.g. Killzone, COD). P.S. Also packed up my five games, going to mail it to Amazon this week. That plus the 20$ credit from KZ3 pre-order, I can actually buy games with spending real cash so I feel good. Nothing interests me greatly aside from the Team Ico bundle which I will now definitely get. Saw MvC3, looked nice, I'unno we'll see. I finally have a FPS again but with KZ3 and UFC2010, I'm limited on games. I'll check Gamestop/Amazon to see new releases later on. I thought Portal 2 was interesting, so we'll see. Also PSN+ people get the first one for free I believe. Might snag that off my friends account.

well guys, good news. im getting killzone 3 right now and i have internet back (actually had it for awhile but was busy with other things) so if you want to play some online then im up. only thing is that we move in 5 days then i wont be able to play for awhile until i get situated to where im moving.
