Anke Faustus l Celf Mansion Anke stayed once again paralyzed to her seat as she watched the dog walk away. My other half? He's got to be talking about my brother! Amand! What did you get yourself into? "I also advise that you make your decision quick should you still wish for your other half to be safe" The word were running though her mind at a mile a minuet. She had already forgotten all the dog's other statements, but she decided she didn't care. Her questions would be re-answered once she met up with the dog's "master." She bolted up to her room, tore off her gown and changed into a more conservative black dress. She pulled her cloak from her closet and shoved her laced up black boots on over a fresh pair of stockings. She stuffed a few more things into a bag and then ran back down stares, wishing she could have left Vivian and Fenris a note. That went against the dog's conditions, however, and Anke inwardly panicked at the idea of leaving her two best friends to just discover that she had gone missing. Only a few minuets had gone by, by the time Anke reached the meeting place in the forest. She inhaled deeply as she came to a halt next to the dog. "Okay, I'm here, now where is my twin brother?"

[Kota | Forest] Kota waited for Anke to tell him her decision, only a few minute went by since he left Anke alone. Kota was only waiting a few minutes, but to him it felt like half an hour; Talisman had always done the main work and if he was ever waiting, Talisman was there for conversation, but now he wasn’t. As time past Kota let his mind wonder, he was laying on a low tree branch a couple of feet off the ground, brushing his paw across the ground and waving his tail around. -I wish me and Talisman never accepted that mission with the academy students.- thought Kota. -After we took the job, we‘ve been running around, having nothing but trouble. (Sigh) If we hadn’t taken the assignment, we were finally going to head back to Shinmei for awhile, to our real home. I wonder if Yuri is there. Wonderful hands she has; she definitely knows where to pet behind my ears.- As Kota was lost in thought, completely relaxed; he was unaware Anke was approaching. He continued to brush his paw lazily across the grass. Kota didn’t notice that Anke was standing right next to him. "Okay, I'm here, now where is my twin brother?" Anke said. Kota ears quickly perked up and faced Anke; caught by surprise, he hopped off the low branch he was laying on and fell on his back into a pile of leaves. He was completely shocked to see Anke, his heart was racing. “Arf! Holy hell!” Kota barked surprised as he fell. Kota quickly rolled over and stood up on all fours covered in leaves. “For the love of… You damn near gave me a heart attack girl! Don‘t you know how to appear normally!? You could have at least called my name to let me know you were here instead of appearing like that! What is wrong with you?” Kota shook off the leave he was covered in and took a deep breath to calm himself down. He faced Anke with a pouted look on his face and realized how he just snapped at Anke from being surprised. Kota shook his head and returned to somewhat of his calm self. “S-sorry about that.” Kota forced himself to say. “I wasn‘t aware you were nearby. I‘m sorry, I was told to be vague.” Kota walked up to Anke and circled around her. He soon stopped and sat in front of Anke. “You don’t‘ standout as much as the last dress, but, you look good.” Kota complimented. “About your question; I apologize again, I am limited with information, for insurance. If you wanted to know more, you would have to show to the meeting. I’m sure you have your suspicions, but please, do not think ill of us. I‘m sure I can answer any other question you might have during the trip.” Kota stepped away from Anke into a small opening within the forest. He stood in the center of the opening and concentrated his magic. Kota’s size began to grow to a size people could ride on his back comfortably. Kota walked back and stood leveled with Anke’s head; he turned to his side and laid down with his tail circled around Anke. “Hop on,” Kota smiled warmly. “I can‘t tell you where we‘re going, but to make up for that I‘ll give you a lift. I‘m sure you would want to meet again.”

[Vivian][Clef Mansion] Vivian slowly woke up. She could tell it was very early morning, and only the cooks and other servants were probably up at this hour. She decided to let Fenris sleep in this morning, it was an odd hour even for her to be up, and they had a long night last night. She got out of bed, and found a nice white sundress to wear for the day. She just brushed her hair, not really feeling like doing anything more, and then quietly went out of her room and downstairs to the kitchen. Anke must still be sleeping or something, Vivian thought as she went past her room. Her door was closed, and she didn't want to risk waking her up at all. Once she was down in the kitchen, she saw she was right about the chefs being up at this hour. She said a quick 'good morning' to them, and they then quickly went to work making her breakfast. She patiently waited for them to finish making her something, which didn't take too long considering there were three chefs to make one meal. Vivian sat out in the dining hall, and they brought out the meal to her. Pancakes with blueberries, she thought, One of my favorites... She cut off a small piece of her breakfast, but as soon as she put it in her mouth she started to feel sick again. Why? Vivian thought, The wedding's over, and I know I'm hungry since I didn't eat at all yesterday. So why am I still sick?. She then tried to shake off the sickness, and forced herself to eat most of her breakfast. She returned her plate to the kitchen when she was done, and just started walking around the mansion for the sake of old times. I've grown up so much since I was last here, Vivian thought, It's a good and bad thing I guess, growing up so fast... She continued walking around for a bit, saying hello to the maids she passed and just reminiscing on her past. However, as she walked, she could feel the sickness coming back, even stronger than it had been at breakfast. It got to the point where she had to stop walking around and go to a bathroom, where almost immediately she threw up. What's going on? Vivian thought, trying to get herself together, This is really... Weird... She quickly went out of the bathroom in her confusion, and after wandering around a bit more while trying to think things through, she found herself at the mansion's main library. It was a large room, the size of a ball room, and probably bigger, and spanned two floors. A good place to think, Vivian thought, I just need time to think... Vivian then went to one of her favorite corners of the library, and sat down to think things through for awhile.

Ooc: Got permission from Toyumi to control Serge a bit. [Clef Mansion] Fenris had woken up in the early hours before the dawn and had written a letter, he had made up his mind regarding this matter during his sleep, after talking with Blackmane. It had taken him well over an hour as he really wasn't that good at writing. He managed to finish it though and sealed it in an envelope and stashed it into one of his pockets. Then he went back to sleep, being careful not to wake up Vivian. ---Later--- When Fenris awoke the first thing he noticed was that Vivian had already left. He strecthed himself and rose up from the bed and dressed himself up. He left his armors and hammer behind, but took his shield with him, just in case. He found Moriar in the kitchen eating his breakfast, he joined him and after they finished eating Fenris handed Morkai the letter. Moriar: So, there's your answer, you thought it through? Fenris: I did, tell Ranek I wished him well. Moriar: Very well, we'll be leaving then. Fenris nodded and Morkai left the room, Fenris knew that in a week his letter would reach Ranek. After a while Fenris got up and went looking for the people he needed to be present when he announced his decision. He found Morkai in the training grounds and after a short talk Morkai told him that he would be there on time. Fenris smiled at the old man and left looking for the next person. After asking around for a while he managed to find Serge and they had a rather lenghty talk. After they were finished Serge put his hand around Fenris' shoulder. Serge: You go get Vivian and meet us at the main library, I'll go get your parents and my wife, I'm sure they want to hear about your decision too. I'll keep your secret until then. Fenris nodded and focused on the Soulstone as Serge walked away, he immediately knew in which direction Vivian was and he started making his way into that direction. Soon he was standing in front of large double doors. He sensed that Vivian was behind the doors so he opened one and walked in. The room itself was impressive and Fenris realised that this must be the main library, but most of his attention was focused on Vivian, who looked so cute in her white dress. She was reading a book when Fenris spoke to her. Fenris: Good morning.

[Vivian][Clef Mansion] As time passed while she was thinking, Vivian came up with an idea. Maybe if that happened, Vivian thought, And I... She gasped and started blushing at the thought, she hoped it wasn't that and yet if it was then everything would make sense. She went to the medical section of the library and got a medical encyclopedia, went back to her corner with it and started to read. This can tell me for sure, Vivian thought, Please, let me be wrong about this... She skimmed through the book, stopping at certain sections to read more, and then came to the section she wanted. This is... Right. I was... Right, Vivian thought. She could feel some tears coming on, but before she could start crying someone came up to her. "Good morning." Fenris said. Vivian jumped up in surprise, and quickly hid the book under the chair she was in. She was blushing madly as well. "Uh, yes, good morning," Vivian said, "You scared me a bit there, I was really concentrating on this book and then you came out of nowhere... But it's fine." She smiled and made sure Fenris couldn't get to the book even if he wanted to by positioning herself at the edge on the chair. I'll have to tell him, Vivian thought, But later. Not now, it'll take too much time... "So what's up?" Vivian asked.

[Academy - Roof] "It wasn't that long ago, but I still miss the time I spent up here." Vincent looked around, slowly walking along the roof of one part of the Academy. 'Doesn't really seem like the kind of place a guy like that would choose to hang out in. Then again, I don't really know anything about him. I don't know what he wants with me, but I don't really have anywhere to go now, so I guess as long as it's a paying job I can go along with it.'

Anke l Forest Anke sighed and climbed onto the dog. "Thank you," she said to his earlier compliment. She didn't know why she was climbing onto the back of a strange dog without complaint. She didn't know why her mind had gone blank and seemed to be at a loss. She wanted to ask questions, she wanted information NOW, but the dog had made it clear that he couldn't answer the questions she really wanted the answers to. So what was the point in asking stupid ones. "Sooo," she started awkwardly, "I guess you can go ahead and start walking to where ever we're going." Forgive me Vivian, I hope my disappearance won't cause you too much trouble. Anke thought to herself as the Clef Mansion disappeared into the distance. She leaned down and wrapped her arms around Kota's chest burrying her face in his fur. It was cold outside and his body heat was welcomed. She pulled her wool cloak a little closer. "How long will it take to get there?" she asked as the cold bit at her cheeks.

Not to long ago he was invited as a guest and to help keep and eye on things here with help from Serge. He spoke to a servant, ???: "Excuse me, can you kindly tell me where the Lady Clef and her husband are?" Servant Girl: "Y-yes! I spotted them in the library just a few minutes ago!" ???: "Thank you very much." The man smiled kindly at her and walked on to the library. He knew it's location as he had spent a few days in the mansion already. Entering it, he spotted to his luck both Vivian Clef and her husband Fenris Stormcaller. He walked up to them with a smile and gave a bow before speaking. ???: "Hajimesmaste, Lady Vivian and Lord Fenris. It is good to finally meet you both. Firstly, I would like to be one of the many to congratulate you both on your marriage. I wish you both happiness. *chuckles* How rude of me not to introduce myself. My name is Sosuke Aizen." Sosuke smiled cheerfully at the both of them. However, his sharp eyes noted the tiredness and fatigue that lady Vivian seemed to display. He also smelled the faint scent of vomit. His eyes widened at the possible meaning but he regained control of his emotions quickly. He then gave a soft smile to Vivian. Sosuke: "Well, well, it seems that perhaps there will be another reason for celebration soon. Rest assured my Lady, my lips are sealed. But I digress, I am here on invitation from your father the Lord Clef. It seems that someone wishes to make an announcement?"

@ Jon yeah it was fine to move my character 'Aeon' | Academy 'Aeon' stayed silent and let Vincent reminisce about his time at the academy. "I was here at one point too" 'Aeon' said as he watched Vincent look over the building. "That was a long time ago though, looked more lively then. Wonderful library as well." 'Aeon' continued talking as they walked closer to it. "So that unknown is supposed to be here? I wonder why he chose a place like this" 'Aeon' questioned. He was talking to himself as much as Vincent now, as he liked to think outloud. There did not seem to be a reason why they had been called here, other than maybe a psychological attack against Vincent. "Well" 'Aeon' said after a short pause "lets talk to him and see what new and interesting things he has to say. Then maybe we can better understand what's going on around us."

[Kota | Forest] Anke took Kota’s offer and she climbed onto his back. Kota stood back up and Anke thanked him for his compliment earlier. He started to walk through the forest with Anke on his back, making sure to avoid any narrow spots he couldn’t fit through. "Sooo," Anke started awkwardly, "I guess you can go ahead and start walking to where ever we're going." Kota ran the thought of telling Anke where he was taking her, but he felt it would cause trouble and misunderstandings if he did, instead he decided that it would be best for him to keep quiet. “You know,” Kota started. “There is a reason that I can‘t tell you where we‘re going. If I did, I think it would lead to a mess neither of us want. But please bear with me for the time being.” -Truth be told, we know exactly who you are.- thought Kota. -I just don‘t know how to tell you who we are. The best I can do is let you find out and let Talisman explain.- Kota remained silent not knowing how to strike a conversation. Kota continued to keep walking with an awkward silence in the air he could hardly stand. As he walked, Kota suddenly felt Anke lean down, wrapping her arms around his chest and felt her buried in his fur. Kota’s face felt hot; he stopped walking and shivered a bit, wondering what Anke was doing. After a short pause he continued walking again. "How long will it take to get there?" Anke asked. “Uh, moving at this speed the whole way may be an hour at most.” said Kota. “Once we‘re at the edge of the forest we’ll see the lights illuminating from the town. From there we‘ll be moving faster; it‘ll take about maybe fifteen minutes. Why do you ask, are you cold?” As they moved through the forest, Kota started to see lights coming from the town. Kota lifted his paw and aimed it across the capital, turning his head to Anke. “We‘ll being going on the other side of the capital.” explained Kota. “Here‘s where we pick up speed. Hold on tight.” Kota began to run faster towards the town and was running along side of the town. Kota constantly looked over his shoulder to make sure Anke wasn’t going to fall off. [Talisman | Black Ops Base] Talisman was waiting for Kota to return with Anke, but he was waiting more than he expected to, it was already dark out, well into the night. Talisman sat in his office reading through a memory spell book. His shelf was full of books about memory spell. Talisman soon got tired of reading and left his office to go to the training building to go spar as he waited. A few minutes later, he was changed into his training clothes and sparing with a fellow Black Op. Other Black Ops that were watching the fight began to place bets on who would win.

Fenris: Yes, I do have an announcement to make, but it is a private matter and so it's none of your business. He walked and opened the door. Fenris: So I'll ask you to leave nicely. And if you refuse I will toss you to the front gate personally. After Sosuke had left the room Fenris closed the door and walked to where Vivian was sitting. Fenris: Little sneak, listening to private conversation, but now, we'll wait a bit. He sat down on a chair opposite to Vivian. He grinned at her puzzled look. Fenris: You'll understand soon enough. Not after long their parents came in and took seats where Vivian and Fenris were already sitting. Serge had a slight smiled and winked conspirationally at Fenris. Fenris let out a small chuckle. Logan: So, you mind telling us what this is about? Fenris took a deep breath and let his gaze fall to each of the people there in turn. Fenris: I will give up being leader of the Stormcallers... There was a collective gasp from those assembled. Isara: But... Fenris lifted his arm. Fenris: Mother, let me finish. Isara was about to say something, but then she nodded and let Fenris continue. Fenris: Yes, it is something that most people in the North dream off, but I've come to realise just how much responsibility it is. And I don't think I'm ready to be a leader, not yet. There are other reasons too though. Fenris looked straight at Vivian. Fenris: I've decided to take the name of Clef as my own. Before anyone could respond he continued. Fenris: So I'll be warrior through deeds, noble through marriage... Second voice interrupted him. Morkai: And legend through blood. Everyone turned their eyes to Morkai. Fenris: What do you mean? Morkai: I've had my suspicions since you chose your weapons, but this morning, the definite proof presented itself. Fenris: Proof of what? Morkai: That the blood of the Clan has revived... The silence that fell was absolute. The six of them just stared at Morkai. Then Fenris spoke. Fenris: How can you be so sure? Morkai walked closer to him and pointed at his necklace. Morkai: The Soulstones that you two have... Serge: But the Soulstones haven't been seen in... Fenris: 5000 years... Morkai looked at Fenris. Morkai: How do you know that? Fenris: Blackmane told me. Morkai: Blackmane... of course he would know. Morkai sighed deeply. Morkai: Logan, Isara, we're leaving today. Serge: Why the haste? Morkai: We need to prepare. You know of the Prophecy of Calamity? Serge: "The world will be plunged into great calamity when..." His voice trailed off. Morkai: "...when the blood of the clan awakens again." Serge: We need to prepare... Morkai nodded and dispelled the spell he had cast around them. The spell had removed them from existence momentarily, making it so that no one could hear or see their conversation. He then looked at Vivian and Fenris: Morkai: Be careful you two. He then nodded at Isara and Logan and left the room. Isara and Logan grabbed Fenris in tight embrace. Isara: You will be okay, just remember what we taught you and keep true to yourself. Logan: You're strong, you keep the two of you safe... The two of them then hurried after Morkai.

[Vivian][Clef Mansion] Vivian was still in her chair through Sousuke coming to them about the announcement Fenris had, and he said a few things that worried him. He doesn't know, Vivian thought, No one except for myself... At least, for now... She also listened intently through the entire conversation Fenris had with his parents, Morkai, and her father. From the sound of it, the conversation was about some sort of clan, that apparently Fenris was apart of, and how he would drop the title of Stormcaller. What's he talking about? Vivian thought, This clan... I've never heard of it, and yet everyone else seems to know... What is he talking about? When everyone had left the library except for Vivian and Fenris, Vivian sighed and buried her head into her hands. "What are you guys talking about?" Vivian asked, "This is all so confusing... So confusing..." Vivian remembered the medical book under her chair and picked that up, letting Fenris see what it is. "And I have something to tell you as well..." Vivian trailed off, looking down at the book. I have to tell him, Vivian thought, I know this means an end to a somewhat relaxing life here in the mansion, but... I have to. "Something I have to tell you in private," Vivian continued, "Where there will be absolutely no one to hear us." She got up from her chair and started to walk out of the Library, letting Fenris follow her to her room, where she locked the door on it and even put an illusion spell on the door so it would seem as though no one was in her room if they managed to break the lock or tried to listen in on the conversation. "Now, what I have to say, is... Extremely important," Vivian said, "It would require a lot of things to change, to say the least. So, you go first, and please explain what that announcement was about." She smiled slightly, trying to contain her excitement, happiness, nervousness, and even some fear.

[Academy - Outer Grounds] "I don't really care about finding out what's going on. I just want to know why I seem to be so important to that guy. As for the spell thing with Alexanderson, I'm going to wait and see how that plays out." Vincent put his hands in his pockets and hopped down to the ground. "I have no interest in getting involved with some big conspiracy or battle. A paying job is all I'm looking for, for the time being anyway."

They walked a little further in silence. Anke was lost in her thoughts trying to figure out where they were going, why she was involved, and how exactly her brother was a part of all this. She sighed a few times and readjusted her position to accommodate Kota's moving shoulder blades. “We‘ll being going on the other side of the capital here‘s where we pick up speed. Hold on tight.” Kota broke the silence and Anke looked up to see a sea of lights in front of her. She gripped onto Kota's soft fur and squeezed with her legs to make sure she wouldn't fall off. "Let me know if I hurt you." She said. I don't know why I'm so calm, or why I'm being so kind to someone who practically kidnapped me in an off handed way, but I have a hunch that they don't mean me much harm. Though I had though the same thing about Vincent, and I had been terribly wrong. I guess I have no choice in this matter anyway, so I might as well calmly let it play out then try to be hostile.

[Clef Mansion] Fenris looked at Vivian before leading her to the chairs next to the windows. They both sat down and Fenris started. Fenris: Well, my announcement was that I'm going to become one of the Clefs, Serge already agreed and is going to make it official in few months. It will shake the West quite a bit, I think. He looked out of the windows. Fenris: But that announcement was quite small compared to what Morkai told us. That the two of us belong to the Clan. It is a secret, that once revealed, will shake the whole world, because of the Prophecy of Calamity and because of The Clan itself. To understand I must tell you a bit about the clan. Fenris took a deep breath and began. Fenris: Our story begins before the end of the warring age, The Clan was getting stronger and the 5 countries had decided to destroy them. The Clan possessed power called Bloodlimit and they refused to share their knowledge about it with anyone. They attacked The Clan in it's various strongholds, but The Clan simply retreated into their main stronghold, The Dragon's Spire. The 5 armies sieged the place, but couldn't conquer it. The war was going poorly for the 5 countries and the victory of The Clan seemed certain. Then for an unknown reason 13 Clansmen decided to unleash their power, the Hyper Resonance, at the same time, destroying the Dragon's Spire and sundering the world, creating the continents as we know them today. When the echoes of this act of destruction faded what was left of the 5 armies found a single member of The Clan walking towards them. They prepared to defend themselves, but the man just walked next to them reciting the Prophecy of Calamity, before dying. The army of the 5 countries disbanded there and went back home. Fenris: There are theories concerning the prophecy one is that The Clan is the source of the calamity spoken in the prophecy and the second is that The Clan will awaken to oppose the calamity. There might be other theories, but those are the ones I've heard. He turned his gaze to Vivian. Fenris: So now you understand a bit... He closed his hand around the Soulstone hanging from his neck. Fenris: But I regret nothing... everything that's happened... He smiled widely. Fenris: The moments with you, I wouldn't change them for anything. And whatever happens... I'll be with you. There was a short silence. Fenris: But, you had something to say?

[Vivian][Clef Mansion] Vivian listened to Fenris as he explained the clan to her. She had to admit it was an interesting story, and she was learning something new too. But this seems so... Unreal, Vivian thought, I don't know how I can be apart of this clan that was around such a long time ago... Even though she was doubting this until she had more solid proof, she still thought it was interesting. "But, you had something to say?" Fenris asked her. Vivian blushed, remembering she had to tell Fenris. "Ah, uh, yes," Vivian said, "Well, this is something that will change our lives, and uh, it will mess some things up, I know that too, and uh... A lot of other things. My parents would be too disappointed in me if they found out, especially my mother coming from a noble family and all that stuff. So it's a given that they can't find out, not now at least, but if we stay here any longer the staff might get suspicious and tell my parents and that would be a hard way to find out, so we'd have to leave and go somewhere, but I don't know what to do or where to go and as I said before this will get in the way of everything and... And... And..." Vivian could feel some tears of joy starting to come, and she knew she was smiling and blushing as well. She stopped to take a deep breath before she told him. "Fenris," Vivian said quietly, "You're going to be a father." She then turned to him to see what his reaction would be.

[Kenji Kurayami|Academy] Kenji came out of the shadows.He was wearing a simple outfit made for battle with two swords on his left hand side. "Greetings,Vincent and Aeon.Isn't it wonderful to go back to the place where it all began?" he said to them. "Although this place is under new managment and the part where your in is one of the few parts I left intact.The rest of the school,I destroyed." he said simply. "Do you want to eat first? I think you've been traveling for sometime now.I can accompany you to the canteen if you'd like.I prepared a little food for us there." he said to them both.

[Academy] Vincent headed towards the inside of the building as the stranger was speaking. "You're being rather hospitable. If you were a weaker man I would go so far as to say that you were sucking up. Anyway, I'm fine, I'm just here to find out what you want."

[Clef Mansion] Fenris wondered what Vivian was going to tell him as she blushing and smiling. He then noticed the tears on her eyes. Vivian: "Fenris, You're going to be a father." There was a stunned silence after her words that was interrupted by a sound of splintering wood. Fenris had crushed the arms of chair he had been sitting in, turning them into little more than kindlings. He rose into a half-standing position then sat back down. Fenris: You mean... you... me... then... but... He looked at Vivian. Fenris: It's unbelievable... I mean... It's just... You and me... He shook his head. Fenris: Give me a minute... He then walked into the bathroom and submerged his face in bowl of water. He knew that he was grinning like mad, but he just couldn't help it. He then walked back to the other room and noticed Vivian was still siitng in the same chair. He walked behind her and hugged her. Fenris: Sorry, I had to calm down a bit... He gave her a kiss on the cheek. Fenris: It is wonderful news, but yeah, I realise why it might be a problem... He then fell silent once more. Fenris: So... when do you want to run away?

[Vivian][Clef Mansion] After Vivian had told him, Fenris seemed to freak out about it. Crushing the arms of the chair too, Vivian thought with a small smile. When he came out of the bathroom, he came up behind her and hugged her. "Sorry, I had to calm down a bit..." Fenris said, then kissed her on the cheek, "It is wonderful news, but yeah, I realize why it might be a problem..." They were both silent for a few moments. "So... When do you want to run away?" Fenris asked Vivian. She sighed and tried to get herself together. "As soon as possible," Vivian said, "I don't know about you, but I still have most of my stuff packed from when we made our trip here. I just need to put in some more clothes, all of the medical supplies are still there too, and I just need to sneak into the kitchen to get some food... And I can probably get some money from my parents, by stealing it I suppose... Then we would have enough money to buy more supplies when need be. We'll have to get out when my parents aren't watching..." Vivian thought about it more as she got up from the chair and started to pack her clothes, making sure to bring some that were too big for her now. After all, I will fit in them soon, Vivian thought with a smile. When she was done, she packed Picasso, as well as the medical book she was reading from the library earlier. They won't notice if one book is missing while we're gone, Vivian thought. She sat back down on her bed, giving Fenris time to pack, and thought about it more. I know it's the only way out of this situation while we're here, Vivian thought, To literally get out, ha. But where exactly should we go? I know there's the North, but there's a good chance my father will send some people after us, to find us. So the North is out, at least for now, it's too predictable. Plus it takes so long to get there... As Vivian thought about it, a thought came to her. "I know this might seem a bit weird," Vivian said, "But what if we go to the South? I don't know if you've ever been there, and I was only there once, when I was very young. But if we go to the North straightaway it will be too predictable, and if we head south we might be able to confuse anyone who comes after us, at least for a few days. And the South is closer from here than the North is. It took my family a little bit over a day to get there, but then again that was by carriage..." She smiled as she got another idea. By carriage, pulled by horses... Vivian thought, Of course! Why haven't I thought about it? We can take two of my father's horses! He has about 5 or so, and we won't take his favorites or anything... "Hey Fenris," Vivian said, "Do you know how to ride a horse?" She smiled even more now, everything seemed to be slowly coming together.
