every episode makes me laugh. this anime is full of comedy and it has a pretty good storyline with each character.  |

EP TEN has arrived! Kyoani seems to be using a song from Mabinogi Clannad Arrange Album now... Well, it sounds nicer anyways, so its all good =D I guess akio and sanae is very lenient with whoever nagisa chooses as her boyfriend... Having to take care of a sickly daughter is pretty bad enough, and now they have to take care of her boyfriend... I would surely want them as my parents... Omg! Count me in the list of people who want the dango plushie if Cospa would sell one that is as big as that! I have never realised that it was that big! I guess tomoya is blessed, whether he took tomoyo or nagisa as his girlfriend. Sigh, i am envious. ._. Anyways, pretty good job for kyoani for depicting the life after graduation. Makes me feel for tomoya, since i haven't really been through that stage before, although i did fell asleep when i reach back home on the first day of work that is for four months (before going back to studies again) , although its much less taxing than what tomoya has to do. Having to accompany nagisa after work is sure taxing. =P A smooth episode overall. I guess that this is the first anime that depicts the life of the main character after graduation. Another anime i would think of that has the something like two scenarios is gurren lagann (first lordgenome, then the anti spirals). I guess i like progressive animes like this. =3 On a side note, I got my hands on the Tomoyo shirt by Cospa~ <3 And a little busters mug. x3 If Cospa is planning on having Tomoyo windbreakers i would do anything to get that one. XD  |

Haven't seen a Dango plushie pillow, i'm sure eventually one will be made. I have seen the Botan plushie (doll mode :D) so you too can be like Tomoya! @ Xiao-san Your comment about Tomoya & him distancing himself whenever he is depressed or down is so very true. In fact that is gonna be one of the major points of the After Story when it gets to that part of the series. The movie did a good job on showing that side of him. It'll be interesting to see how the TV series will handle that. The anime series uses music from almost every CLANNAD soundtrack from Memento, Mabinogi, both arranged albums Sorrarado & Append, & of course the OST. ***************** Episode 10 Yeah i feel for Tomoya as well...& i really know what it feels like once you graduate from high school, you have this routine when you are in high school that you go through but once you graduate & that routine is compromised it does feel awkward. I remember the first few months before i went to animation school was tough...days on days of almost nothing to do wasn't really fun. At times i wished i was still in school. Hahaha!!! Tomoya is a drooler! I shouldn't laugh cause i do it sometimes as well :D. I feel for Nagisa in this episode as well...she's trying so hard in school but it is a shame that eventually nobody joined the drama club & it was dissolved. Seeing Nagisa sad like that is hard to take :( Although some may disagree i think that Tomoya & Nagisa are perfect together...they seem so good together. And the way Tomoya was looking at that family as they were driving pass, it was nice. Reminds me on how difficult the story will be getting emotional wise, just thinking about the events that will be happening soon leaves me with a heavy heart. I may not even want to watch these events when they occur in the anime....OMG!!! *sigh* Anyways yes i agree a smooth episode & a nice setup for things to come. I like it that they are so faithful to the original game...right down to the 'apartment' to the job with Yoshino...our favourite goof-ball will tie in to that job very soon i would guess. Remember all the time when Tomoya & Mei were trying to find him during their part of the story....it'll become clear what he was doing all this time.  |

@izumo I have seen a pic of that botan plushie, looks... not that nice. ^^; But if they come up with one massager mode one... I am getting it. Hehhhh, dident think that kyoani would use so many soundtracks. Coming to think of it, is there any soundtrack that is anime original? I guess they cant come out with anime OSTs. And just continue watching! Theres nothing more sad then that misuzu scene from AIR... YET. XD |

being on a tight budget(my pirated dvd buying days came to a halt)and finally finding a site to direct DL anime (though its low quality) i decided to stop being a "slowpoke" and watch the after story (im on ep9) and just wow, i thought i was losing interest in watching anime but when i popped in ep1 i just cant stop XD i missed everyone in this show...and man this is just awesome! i just finished the yukine arc and..man tomoya can fight XD! though he ended up beaten, props to the guy for lasting that long and poor yukine, getting smacked right in the face T.T but yeah her arc is probably the best in the show so far (misae's arc reminded me of makoto from kanon XD) they should have just fed the rainbow bread combo (kinda like the jam in kanon hahaha) to the rival gang and problem solved ^_^ gonna dl 9 and 10...this is great! the show rekindled my inner otaku again... i love clannad XD |

Just saw episode ten now, and I might be heading off to bed after I post about my thoughts. The episode is pretty personal to me, since I'm close to graduating and I fear the after-HS era in my lifetime to be honest with you. Though I'm not currently living with my future spouse's family I can somehow feel the warmth and love from Nagisa in this episode, very much, as well as from their family. That talk between Nagisa's dad and Tomoya in the park was like a foreshadowing type thing, since they are going to be family later on. I like that kind of stuff, and what's more interesting is that he doesn't have that type of relationship with his own father. Speaking of him by the way, did he appear in this episode? I'm not sure if he did or not; that guy we saw when Tomoya was looking at apartments. Seeing Ryou and Kyou again, the two lovely twin sisters, was nice. =^________^= I kind of missing the whole orignal-first season vibe when all of them were so a part of what was going on, but now it's slowly starting to become what this season is all about, so we'll get used to it sooner or later. I guess we won't see Kotomi for a while since she's studying abroad in America, right? Moving on with other parts of the episode, Nagisa was very cute in Tomoya's apartment. I had some flashbacks with the movie, and I can expect of a few things to come. Shhh... :O Nagisa in a maid outfit was the cutest thing, and making him meals while singing the Dango song which I missed oh so much, that's like a fantasy come true. She seems to be healthier now, which is always a good thing, but it's only for a matter of time I suppose. And also, it is unfortunate that her club was shut down. I hope she makes friends soon, being alone sucks.

I've just finished it aswell. I really like the Ryou and Kyou (she's just awesome) scene that lead to Tomoya getting the apartment. And Nagisa singing the Dango song whilst cooking was the cutest thing ever. I really do want that pillow/plushie :D I'm really hoping that Nagisa gets some more friends, and manages to open up the drama club again :( poor girl. I'm loving the After Story so far.

Kyou's mine. Only because someone took tomoyo. T_T I guess we wont see the drama club ever again. I dont think that Nagisa will go through some personality change to be like kyou and be so outgoing to revive the drama club. I mean, that personality is already taken. But that means more time to spend with tomoya. |

Easy dude! We know you got Kyou. XD Tomoyo was your first choice then? Whose got her then? I'm very happy with my Kamina so I won't battle you for Kyou. Did anyone notice a few spelling mistakes in Eclipses' and SS's subbing? I watched it late last night but I'm sure I picked up a few bits. It just surprised me 'cos they're usually so good.

i finally able to get online after 2 weeks without internet. Just finish epsd 9, the story is already on nagisa's arc right? haven't played nagisa part on VN yet. i guess i'll play it after the anime is over @Kirky: yeah SS been sloppy this year they also made few mistakes on earlier episodes as well, i've been on aqs/sprocket sub since epsd 2. gotta watch epsd 10 soon

Yeh it's right back on the Tomoya/Nagisa path again. 2 weeks without the internet! That would've killed me. I'm gonna try out these Sprocket subs fellas. Give em a go.

I've been using Sprocket for the past few Key anime series. They did a great job with KANON & the first season of CLANNAD. What i like about them is that they are very detailed in their translations adding even the simplest things. I noticed the mistakes that Eclipse's has made for the series as well, mostly in grammar. I assume with so many projects for them they are bound to make these. Sometimes it is better to have one or two projects...remember quality over quantity. @ Xiao-san You don't like the Botan stuff? I think it looks pretty cute. I saw at cdjapan that they have picked up quite a few new products, mostly body pillows, cushions & even bedsheets. Some of these look pretty sweet but since i already have a Kanu Unchou (Ikkitousen) bodypillow i don't think i will get another one. Yes the Misuzu ending in AIR TV was heartwrenching but there is one scene (not counting the one with Nagisa) that is very close to it. Without spoiling it i will say that it involves Tomoya & a certain somebody. Seeing that moment in the game was intense & shocking! The events of this sets up things that you see occasionally during the series...again not gonna spoil it. *********************** Episode 11 hilites The scenes with Tomoya & Nagisa makes it look like they are already married since they really do act like a husband & wife. It's cute the way it is Nagisa's turn to take care of Tomoya. There is a VERY FUNNY scene involving Sanae, Akio, Tomoya & a particular animal! The look of Sanae in the scenes are absolutely adorable. Oh! she's stronger than she looks :D Tomoya is getting more used to his job & the responsibilities that come with having a job. Yoshino-san is very prominent in these past few episodes since he is acting like a mentor to Tomoya.  What Tomoya did to Nagisa is unforgivable but i can kinda understand or relate to his situation. You have to admit that Nagisa is like the perfect girlfriend! The end preview title for the next episode is kinda "not good" to say the least.... |

Just saw episode 11. It seems Tomoya's been a lot more emotional and serious since he's living on his own. He takes his work too seriously though. I know I'm not married yet, but that'll ruin a relationship, haha. Take notes. :D It's fun seeing the fun Tomoya has with Nagisa's parents. I really do love Sanae. She has to be one of the most loving, cutest characters in like, life. Love her seiyu - man, talk about a fan's fantasies. *falls into Sanae paradise* Tomoya, as days goes on, seems to fit in more with is occupation. He should take it easy though, I know it's work, but still. Nagisa's trying so hard to take care of him. I feel bad for her during some moments. When you say "unforgivable", are you talking about when he was late to pick up Nagisa at the school? Did the Festival already happen or something? I'm guessing it did. That part when they shared that corn on a stick, that part almost made me shed a tear for some reason. Maybe it's cause of the BGM. Can't really predict what's going to happen in the next episode. Will Tomoya make another mistake or will something happen with Nagisa. I know that stuff will come soon, even though I really hate it doesn't, unfortunately. :/

@d-angel Dont get too close like sunohara. You have seen the results already. That BGM is shared by those heartwrenching moments in the novel as well, thus making us shedding tears when it plays. @izumo I have seen those new botan products as well. Of course, the thing that stole my wallet is that tomoyo shirt. <3~ Just saw episode eleven as well. I felt so sorry for nagisa for being alienated at school and ignored by her boyfriend... But in spite of all this, she did not utter any complaints(like uguu~, or gao~). Nagisa! You go girl! I guess akio's childishness is what keeps the relationship going. And it is really an interesting way to keep the relationship alive. Gotta admit that. xD The next episode title shows that something is going to happen. But i am not so convinced that it will be that bad after what happened with ep18 of clannad. |

Saw it yesterday. I think most of the episode was a flashback-story from Yoshino to Tomoya. It's a pretty good story. The ending was kind of blank, I wanted to hear and see more though, haha. The moment after Tomoya see's his dad, the scene with Nagisa and Tomoya was special. Judging from the PV it seems they return to see his father again, but I wonder why he didn't say anything to his son. Maybe it's because he feels that he's already done so many disappointing things to upset Tomoya, and that nothing he'd say at that point, would make a different in their father-son relationship anyways. Possibly. Getting more into the story now, I can sense the more sad moments approaching.

OMG ep12... Don't you think Tomoya's Love story is a bit (Well, not a bit but a LOT !!!)too well-going ?! I mean his love story is too perfect ! First he accepted really well by Nagisa's family and then he confessed to Nagisa and she accepted it, and then HE PROPOSED TO NAGISA and SHE ACCEPTED IT TOO ~!!! Geez,,, Tomoya is such a Lucky bastard... -___- Well, anyway it's a little bit scary to see how well is Tomoya relationship with Nagisa... But, Tomoya X Tomoko = WIN ;)  |
