Oh man, apologies for the short post in KftN, but I can't think anything else at the moment aside of teaming up and wait for the unified assault against the Eclipse Knight >_> @Jonathon: About dropping, I think I'll stay on those two. There's a period that I wanted to drop UtPBS S1, but I persevered and it became interesting in the end :3 So, I'm kind of wanting to give KftN some more time as I have yet acquire the 'feel' (or rather the sense of familiarity) for the RP, thus... my slow posting @_@ Then again, if I got too busy or anything, I'll simply relegate to a minor role. @Temp: I get your point. Yes, I may drop by chat and other parts of forum (and as a result 'not as I was that busy as I stated'), but to me posting an RP requires a decent amount of time, at least an hour or two or even more if there is a good amount of progress as I tend to rewrite previous events (rather than copypasting) and add my character's response to it. Sometimes, my quality of RP posts is kind of mood-dependent or being tired or not, so there are sometimes that I could not deliver an RP post on time (and instead doing something that is easier than RPing, say chatting or gaming for example). I know for some that this is nothing but an excuse for being lazy and procrastination, but I'm really sluggish when writing a post should I do not fulfill one of my criteria above ~_~ |

@Emiya - That seems to be what everyone is waiting for. I think it's better if I just end the battle now so that the rest of the "Prologue" can go ahead. This battle is taking way longer than I originally though and if this lull goes on for much longer then I'll probably end up losing the members that still have an interest. Good thing I saved that part I originally had in my last post but later removed. @Temp - I'm used to it. I mostly tell people to contact me if they intend to drop out largely out of habit at this point. I don't have any expectations that people will actually do it. @Toyumi - I'm thinking that you're right. I hate to nag people like that, but I guess I have to. I probably won't bother so much with Under the Pale Blue Sky 2, since that RP (like Pokemon) seems to survive through much worse in terms of casting and posting, but I will definitely have to start it with KftN. -------------------------------------------Updates------------------------------------------- Pokemon: To Live and Learn - Things are pretty much planned out now until the group gets back from Snowdrop Town. I'm going to follow Toyumi's idea and do a very small event on the way up so that Haseo can finish whatever it is he has in the works. I have other events in mind, but they will have to wait until the Gym time rolls around (I'll have to check with Fenris to see if he wants Nowell to be involved in that part or not). Knights for the Night - As stated above, I'm going to wrap up the battle and move things along. It doesn't seem like anyone has anything to do (or knows what they should be doing) so it's better if I just get the plot moving again to at least get the set up finished. Also, as I stated above, I'll have to start doing participation checks on people. I have two other people that were interested in joining the RP back when the casting was closed, so if anyone drops I'm going to invite one of those two in. Under the Pale Blue Sky 2 - Things are starting to pick up again, which kind of surprised me actually. I'm still waiting on one or two people in particular before continuing, but I might go over the last few posts again tomorrow and post then post anyway. |

@Jon: Just so you know, I'm still interested in Knights. The only reason I haven't posted in this amount of time is because, like you've projected, Eiji/Judas has had nothing to do. I stated in my last post that he used up a tremendous amount of his beginner energy in a fluke, so he'd have to be reserved for the rest of the battle and hold back. I guess I didn't express that explicitly enough, so that was my bad. It you post tonight/tomorrow morning then I probably won't get to a post until Wednesday at the earliest. I'll be gone practically all of tomorrow (working from 3 in the afternoon to midnight, pacific standard time), and I have quite a bit of schoolwork to do on Sunday that will prevent me from posting. I just finished up with finals last week, so hopefully my schedule plateaus off and I actually have some down-time soon. |

Hahaha, So It's when things start getting slow that I decide to throw out RP ideas. However, I was looking back at the old RP's and remembered H's still in development Crossover RP. But considering it's more or less three years since he started that thread, I guess I'll take a wack at doing it. Anyway, here's my proposal! End of The World and After Plot: In the vast myriad of stories that exist, there are times when the tale leads to a bad ending. The heroes, by unfortunate circumstance, fail and let the world get destroyed in a spectacular fashion. Though, their struggle ironically does not end at the 'ending screen.' Instead, the remnants of the world goes to the "Limbo Universe," a place where matter from black holes and universal catastrophes appear in - surprisingly, life can still exist in a place like this. It is possible to simply exist in "Limbo Universe" for the rest of eternity, but there is a method by which a destroyed world can be restored to it's former glory. Every Trillion Earth Years, a 'Wishing Star' is formed at a certain place within Limbo Universe, which grants any wish that can break reality itself, including bringing back all of the broken worlds from where they came from. The Trillion Year Mark of the appearance of the Wishing Star is coming up very soon. But while there are some who wish to restore the worlds, there are those who wish to change things for their own malicious deeds. Though the remnants of the worlds are much to small to sport vast armies, special people are capable of summoning "Great Souls." Powerful beings whom died when their world was destroyed, whether they where the ones who tried to stop it, or the ones who caused it doesn't matter. But by happenstance, the "Good" guys trying to restore the worlds use the Heroes while the "Bad" guys seem to equally prefer using Villains. Both sides seek the "Hexagal Stone Fragments" which is the key to finding the location of the next Wishing Star. The struggles between good and bad continue long after it has ended! In Short, it takes a bit more of the Kingdom Hearts Approach where different story worlds can be visited. Instead of handling a ton of characters in a story, they can conveniently be packed away with a General Player Character who can summon them at will. The RP's Great Soul Character profiles will probably use a very similar format to the "Eden RP". The Summoner Character isn't actually supposed fight, but can summon up to two Great Soul Characters at a time. The cool thing being the Heroic Spirits are supposed be your characters lost in dead RPs! So anyone interested, or suggestions? I primarily had the incentive to do this because I wanted to see how I'd rewrite the profile for my old terribly written characters in the past. :P EDIT: -Changed Heroic Spirits to Great Souls, didn't mean to lift the term off from Fate, I haven't even seen it! @ Jon: Yeah, I agree, looking back at the old material I've written gives joy and embarrassment in near equal measure. Probably the biggest thing that's seemed to change from before that is my toning down the power levels on my characters. Ah, but I cringe a little when I read my really early profiles. Anyway, referencing the 'post apocalyptic vibe', I can't say that was the way i was going with it. But I can't say what sort of tone I wanted it to go for either. Though It'll probably take the same 'group adventure' path by default. Though changing it a bit to be more of a 'tournament' style of plot seems like a considerable option as well, since I don't see any of the current rps (to my knowledge) employing it. I also understand the problem you're seeing with people even knowing who the characters you use are. Though, the appeal I saw for this RP in my mind, wasn't so much as "Having Your Characters Show Up Again so Everyone can Nostalgia", but rather, "Taking that Awesome Character Who Never saw their full potential realized and giving them one more chance to shine brighter than before" sort of way. Of course creating an entirely new character also acceptable. At the start, I'm also intending to be Rigid with the amount of Great Souls you can have in total. Probably at that start you'll only be able to have 3, which once again, you can only summon up to two per battle. |

@Haseo - That's no problem. I kind of figured that everyone was waiting around, but I wanted to give everyone the chance to get at least one or two battle posts in before cutting the fight off. As I've come to learn though, I can't wait around for too long for certain people or I'll end up losing the interest of the ones that are still around. @Ugo - I both love and hate looking back over old RP's. I love it because of all of the nostalgia and good times from the ones I was part of, but at the same time I hate it because I realize how terrible my writing and RP'ing style was. I'll probably end up looking back on some more recent RP's soon and realizing the same thing though. As for your RP idea, I don't know if I would have much interest in it. I'm getting a kind of post-apocalyptic vibe, which is not for me. On the other hand though, I really like the idea of a Crossover RP. I don't recall why I passed on H's Crossover RP, because I like the idea of going back and using character's from long-lost RP's. The only problem I see with it is that old RP characters may not be recognized by anyone other than the RP member in question. I mean, I've had a lot of characters for example, but how many people here actually remember any of the following characters?: Jonathon - Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: FATE Darksamurai - Dark Angel~Death RP Vincent - Midnight Terror RP or even some of my more recent one, like: Karin Zelde - Immortal Machina Vincent Vinland - Free and Dream Alastair and Cecilia - The Branded |

@ Jon- Sorry for the inactivity this week, finals and midterms just drained me of the energy to do anything. Three out of five days when I came home from school this past week the first thing I did was go to sleep. XD I'll make a post in KftN tomorrow, but I'm waiting for Fenris to post again in the Pokemon RP before I post there. As for your characters, the only one that I remember fondly is Vincent from Free and Dream since, honestly, that's still one of the best RP's I've been in, if not the best. I mean, I do remember you being in other RP's, such as Immortal Machina and the Branded, among others, but those haven't left as much of an impact on me to remember your characters in particular. @ Ugo- I like your idea! The only thing that I might suggest is elaborating a bit more on the conflict aspect of it (Why do the bad guys want to destroy the universe, etc., although if you already have mention something about that in the summary then I could have missed it since I'm tired at the moment XD). |

Hello everyone, its been awhile since I've been on here... well on Gendou in general. Lest to say that I am back temporarily. As for roleplays, I see that some are still alive and not many new ones as of late. Though I doubt I will be able to join in any roleplays due to numerous assignments I've been receiving lately. Anyhow, how are you guys doing? |

@Toyumi - That's fine. There hasn't been any activity at all for the past week or so. I'm guessing that you aren't the only one going through exams or whatnot. I miss Free and Dream. A lot. Did anything ever get done with that planned ending thing? I had like half of Vincent/Anke's finished but never heard anything about it after a while. As for Pokemon, I think we should skip the haunted house thing for now. I'm not sure how much story Haseo has to work with, but it will take at least 2 waves of posts from us to get through something like that and then another wave to actually get to Snowdrop. It might be better for him if we just use 1 or 2 waves to get to Snowdrop. Also, I think I'll have to send a PM to you soon to discuss the upcoming events relating to Adele. @Zero - Pretty bored myself. Hasn't been a lot going on hear at Gendou or in my life for that matter. The only recent RP's are my Knights for the Night, which isn't making much progress at all, and Mistress' Charmed (which has made even less progress). Snake also started one back at the beginning of December, but I don't think it has left the casting stage yet. |

@ Jon- Fenris and I had a general idea for how it would end, although I don't think we really wrote up much on it. I really miss it too, a lot. Maybe we can get back board with giving the RP a somewhat proper ending? I'll talk to Fenris about it and see where we left off with our part. Actually, I'm kind of confused about the haunted house thing as well. First we were doing it, then we weren't, and now we are? XD But it doesn't really matter to me, all I really have planned is catching one more Pokemon before the next gym battle. What I'm more concerned about is leaving Haseo hanging and being unable to post while we work this out (Meaning less momentum for the RP and making it move on slower than it has in the past few months; which I can see is starting to happen already >>). Anyway, I plan on posting there soon-ish, and as always PM away if you need to discuss any upcoming events. I might put off making a post in Knights, at least for now since Rina wouldn't have much to do other than go back home and such. @ Zero- Personally I'm okay, but like what Jon said Gendou City has been pretty inactive lately (Although Knights for the Night thankfully is starting to pick up again). |

@Toyumi - Yeah. I would like it to get an actual ending, although for my part (since Kenji and king are both pretty much gone from it) I think I would have to crop together a pretty bland ending. I still have the idea that Anke had in mind, which would work fine for our characters, but the main problem is the overarching plot itself. As for Pokemon, I've got that sorted out. We're skipping the haunted house idea for now and will instead try it during the return trip to Aster. Like you said, we're leaving Haseo hanging at the moment so we need to just get the group to Snowdrop for the time being so he can continue with what he was doing. I also plan for Victor to catch another Pokemon (to replace Pidgey) but it doesn't require any particular event like the haunted house. I moved KftN along for pretty much that reason. I needed a transition to the next day so that the group could sit down for a complete explanation (and the intro of the next Eclipse Knight as well) but I didn't think anyone would have much to do with it. It was more of like a filler thing. @Roxas - Yeah, I messed up things up a bit so I don't blame you. I had 2 plot points kind of overlap with each other so one of them ended up getting way less focus than it should (that being the fact that everyone kind of just shrugged off the huge city destroying monster that turns things into Anil and started discussing a traitor-hunting job). I should have everything back on track now in terms of story. I'll give that monster more appropriate attention when I get the chance. Temporaryfornow's character was pretty much dead on with the whole "why is everyone so blasé about the big monster that popped out" thing, but I didn't really have a way to undo that little knot I created. --------------------------------------------Updates-------------------------------------------- Pokemon: To Live and Learn - The group will get to Snowdrop during my next post, which will probably be after Fenris' post. How long we will be in Snowdrop depends mostly on Haseo I think. The only other event that will be happening there right now is that Victor and Adele will wind up catching new Pokemon from the looks of it. I don't know if Shinji or Fenris have anything that they want to do there. The big event I have planned won't happen until during the return trip to Aster. Knights for the Night - I just made a post to move things along since (as I explained above) no-one really has anything to do at the moment besides make a 'character goes home' post, which I understand not everyone wants to bother to make. Coming up is mostly the Pages explaining the main details about what is happening and there will probably be an appearance of another Eclipse Knight as well. I'm thinking that this RP will involve a lot of action scenes due to the nature of it. There's no point in me splitting the group up without action scenes since the only characters that have any sort of relationship seems to be Toyumi and Haseo's (friendship or romantic). Now, this might change later on if the character's start forming groups that they usually hang around, but as it stands whenever there is no action happening it pretty much just turns into an 'Everyone goes home --> Has nothing to do --> meets back up with the others the next day' situation. Under the Pale Blue Sky 2: Winds of Change - Everything is getting back on track now after I fumbled the previous scene. There isn't much else to say beyond that. The characters that take part in the Orphans proposed job are going to be heading into Imelda. I will likely be leaving my own character (Juno) behind however, since I don't really have a lot for her to do in Imelda, but I do have quite a bit for her to do back in Daedalos. Just a suggestion to anyone with multiple characters, but this is probably the best time to temporarily ditch some of your characters if you find that it is too difficult to keep up with all the ones you currently have. If you have 3 or 4 characters under your control and it's getting to be too much to keep all of them in scenes, then you may want to consider leaving some of them behind in Lucine like I'm doing with Juno. |

@ Jon- Yeah, it probably wouldn't be the best ending, but regardless it's still something I would like to do eventually (And hopefully soon, although I've probably said I've wanted to get an ending for the RP a bunch of times by now >>). I'll try to get a post in Knights this weekend, and I'll probably end up waiting until the group starts heading towards Snowdrop again before I post in the Pokemon RP. Like I said in my last post there, I've been busy a lot lately and it's nearly unpredictable as to when I will be busy and won't be able to post, so as a heads up I might not be able to post in that RP or Knights until the weekend if/when this sort of thing happens again. @ Roxas- I agree, it even got me thinking about making a new RP since it's been so slow, but my schedule this year can be unpredictable sometimes so I decided against it. I apologize for not being around. I have been quite busy as of late with work, commission and portfolio. So I did not get much time to be in gendou and roleplay at all. But since my commission and portfolio are all done. I should be less busy than before. As for roleplay, I do have one idea, it is based on Percy Jackson minus the whole demi-god. But I have yet to think of the entire plot. My mind is still a bit on overdrive. |

This is the rough story. If anyone's interested I'll get it posted ASAP, if not I'll find somewhere else. I'm thinking it's going to be very steampunk (FINALLY!) with a good mix of different technologies and styles, and hopefully lots of drama and conflict. |

Welcome back Kyousuke. My current idea for roleplay; The world is balance between Yin and Yang. It has always been this way however, the hourglass has struck, the world became unbalance. Everyone and everything that has a shadow suddenly one by one, shadows begins to disappear, people who lost their shadows became unstable. Their bodies mold into a creatures of chaos. How did this happen and why? Scientists and researchers who still maintain their shadows had begun to explore and investigate the problem, the source of it. The creature of chaos devour other shadows turning others into one of them. However, for odd reasons few selected people who had already lost their shadow still maintain their form and fought against the creatures of chaos instead. This is my idea so far. I kept it brief. If you like it I will make the rp and explain about it in full details. |

Well I haven't posted since... The 28th? So long ago, sorry for not posting in RP's lately, I've been really sick this past week (And before that actually, but it got worse this past week) and haven't had much energy to do much of anything really. >> Anyway, I'll get onto posting in Knights and the Pokemon RP as soon as possible. As for the new RP ideas that have been posted here, personally I'm just not interested in them, and I know I'm going to be busy in the upcoming weeks so I'd rather not join a new RP unless it's something I'm really interested in. |

@Emiya: Hello lovely lady~ Luckily for you I just finished it and I'm working on finishing my characters now. Hopefully there'll be just a little more interest than just you and I. :/ @Zero: Nice to see you're still here. Things have really died around here, I guess. Your idea sounds really good, and I'm totally interested. However I only really have room in my life for one RP at a time. If my RP fails I'll definitely join yours though. @Toyumi: Get well soon! I know what you mean about having no energy. The horses and my school work zaps the life out of me, but all my other RPs have died so I had to go looking for something else. |

@Kyosuke: Welcome back! It's been a while, hasn't it? I don't mean for this to be criticism against your RP, but I don't think it's wise to start an rp at this time. Jon was the last one to start one a couple of months ago, and it received attention for a week before it flatlined. A couple of us are trying to keep it going but only about 25% of the cast is even left. RPs are dying here sadly. @Jon: I'll get to posting in the pokemon rp sometime today and I'm not really sure what to do in Knights. Is this the same cafe that Eiji works at, or is this a different one? You mentioned not being sure about what it would be, but you never gave a finalized answer. |
