@Zou - I don't know if I can really offer up any pointers or anything of use. The only real thing I can say about the RP is that there isn't a lot to it at the moment. It's basically just 'earth is attacked, you're going to fight". Other than that, I simply see this as too many new RP's starting up and not enough members to fill them. 'Time Forgets' and 'Exiled Ixils' both just started and Roxas started his own RP besides that. Not to mention that 'Under the Pale Blue Sky 2' is still on the go as well as 'Pokemon: To Live and Learn' (although that one is only tying up myself, Shinji, Fenris, Toyumi and Haseo). That's the main reason I'm not putting up my 'Knights for the Night' RP. There just isn't enough availability between active members due to the multiple new RP's. @Roxas - That's fine. As I said, I'll be policing the RP much more heavily from now on, so even if some people don't follow the change log then they are still going to get called out for being ridiculous. Kenji does good stuff, but this time I'm passing on the RP. Not in the mood for a school/slice-of-life thing at the moment. @Toyumi - I actually ended up reading back over Valkyria Chronicles: Iris last week after making my post. Now that I have, I actually don't know why it suddenly died out like it did. It was in the middle of an action scene, I had talking portions, planning/strategy portions, surprise attacks and introduced special enemies to keep each battle going a bit differently. Now, the second battle against the big tank (Batomys) was focused too much on the Lancer class and gave them a bit too much spotlight, but everyone still had a part to play in it. Anyway, it's on my possible revive list (although there's a bunch of RP's on that list), nothing to do but look into trying it again some other time. ---------------------------------------Updates--------------------------------------- Under the Pale Blue Sky 2: Winds of Change - Things have been moving really slowly lately, probably because of the new RP's that have started. I may just go ahead and make another post soon just to keep the slow crawl going, even though there are quite a few regular posters who I haven't seen lately. Pokemon: To Live and Learn - Also moving pretty slow. People must be busy at this point in the month. Anyway, gym battles are finished with now. I'm guessing that Haseo is going to have Parker have a scene with Marina. Victor and Shinji are in a battle with Drake and Celine, so it's up to Fenris and Toyumi if they want to get their characters involved in that as well.    |

@ Temp- Like what Jon said, that happens in UtPBS. UtPBS is a slower moving RP, and not everyone might be able to post at the same time, so you'll just have to wait for the RP to progress. @ Zou- I agree with what Jon said, you're going to add more to it if you want it to be appealing and get people to join it. I probably won't join it regardless because it's just not my type of RP and I'm in three others already. I can really only do up to four RP's at a time, and I want them all to be ones I'm interested in. @ Jon- I just looked back to see where Valkyria ended and it seems like I was the last one to post there before it ended. XD Anyway, I don't really know why either. It was before my junior year so I was active on the RP scene (Since my junior year was where things took a bit of a dip due to the workload I had). I guess it's because it was slow-moving and in the middle of an action scene? I mean, the second to last page has posts that spanned the course of a month, from the end of January to the end of February. Personally, that's not a problem to me (I'm used to slower-paced RP's with Pokemon being an example of that XD), but I guess some people just got bored with it. Anyway, like I said before, I had fun with it so I wouldn't mind joining it again if you do end up reviving it. Regarding Pokemon, I was planning on having Adele come in when you and Shinji end the battle with Drake and Celine (Unless you'd rather have her come into it as well), so I'm just waiting for that battle to end before I post again. Alright, so I caught up with pretty much all of the RP's I'm a part of in the past few days. Like I said to Jon, just waiting for the battle to end in the Pokemon RP before I post there again. Regarding UtPBS2, my character is pretty much reliant on Fenris's character to post, or for Jon to post if something new is going to happen. Although, there isn't really much for them to do aside from fleeing Hala like everyone else is doing. As for Exiled Ixils, I'm waiting for either Fenris or Aoi to post there. I plan on having my characters meet up with the group of exiles soon (I discussed something with Fenris a few days ago in order for that to happen), but I'm not really sure what to do regarding the monsters (I know my characters can't fight them off on their own, so I had them run away instead XD).  |

@Jon: Sorry I haven't gotten to posting in the pokemon rp yet. It's been busy for me lately from college/university applications too last minute essay assignments now that I'm back in school and off break. The essay is due tomorrow, and I was going to submit my applications tonight, but of course, now I'm preoccupied with the essay. I also asked my teacher to help me revise my college essay, but she proved to be no help, so now that I have to scramble to revise it for application deadlines on Friday. Hopefully I'll be done before then, but I can't make any promises, so don't expect a post from me until the weekend. I know you guys are partly waiting on me, and I'm sorry, but I'm starting to run out of time and am getting a bit stressed.

@Haseo - Don't worry about it. I understand that you're busy. I can still draw things out as need be. @Toyumi - I sent you a message regarding that. It's up to you if you want Adele to take part in the battle or not. I kind of started it to gather everyone (with the exception of Parker) back at the Museum so that we can start wrapping things up in Zephyranth. Anyway, if you don't want Adele to take part in the battle then you can always have her meet back up with Professor Sepal. Fenris also hasn't bothered posting in Pokemon either, so I'm probably just going to start moving the battle forwards since no-one seems to want to join in except for Shinji. As for Valkyria Chronicles: Iris, I probably could have forced it to keep going if I posted again after you, but I don't know if that would have kept it alive for a whole lot longer. ---------------------------------------------Update--------------------------------------------- Knights for the Night - I've made a lot of progress on this lately. I got over my writer's block with the terms and stuff so the RP is coming along very well. However, like I said in my last post, I'm going to have to hold off on this RP until some of the other ones die out, or in the event that UtPBS2 gives out. |

It seems like Exiled Ixils has been going as planned(slow). I got a couple more PMs on people wanting to join though. Still waiting on Caspian to get home and post for now. I was actually planning on actually closing the casting but then Ugo PM'd me that awesome character sheet and I figured why not since it was going to be a slow RP anyway. The RP is still open, and I'm planning to keep it that way for now. I didn't expect this large of a cast(again) though. I feel like keeping this RP slow so people who can't come on as often won't have to catch up with too much things. Sure hope the interest in the RP stays though. Oh and before anyone starts wondering Adel won't play in the first chapter.(She talked to me about this already) Speaking of which, I need to update that character list... @Toyumi I'll be trying to find a way to get your character to join with our group as soon as Caspian's character makes his move. I'll also add the "animals'" characteristics and abilities etc on the first post soon. Some other people will also need to explore the ruins 'cause that's where the first plot point is for the RP. It'll also start our move to the next destination, Olympus Mons and the Grand Marketplace(probably), but that's still a long way to go.  |

And sorry for the long wait for it, I ended up being busier than I thought and I had to keep on pushing the post back. >> Also, this is just my opinion, but if you want a limited cast for Knights for the Night, wouldn't it be better to start it while there are other active RP's? That way not everyone would try to join it if they have other RP's that they're obligated to stay in or if they have too much on their plate already. All of the RP's that are currently active are fairly slow-moving as well, (Ixils has been even slower than I thought it would be and Pokemon has always been a slow RP, so that only leaves UtPBS2, which has been kind of slow lately, and Time Forgets) so I don't think it would make that much of a difference if you started it sooner than later. Of course this is just a thought, I'm not even sure if I can/want to join it at the moment (Although knowing your RP's I'll probably be more inclined to join it unless I can't do so). XD @ Aoi- I don't really have much to do with my characters in Ixils at the moment other than what would be an extremely short post, so I'm just waiting until the RP picks up again to post. |

I just kind of needed you to 'place' her somewhere so that I would know what to describe in my upcoming post. I'm going to do a large post tonight that rounds everyone up and gets them on the ship to Aster City/next location. You raise a good point. Starting it now might result in fewer people joining simply because there are not any other RP's going on. Maybe that's why I have trouble getting a good group together for these things. I always start my RP's when things are slow in Gendou City, so I probably get a lot of people joining out of boredom or because there are no other options. Of course, that means they are much more likely to ditch the RP once new ones do crop up. And I'm pretty much set on a limited cast for it. UtPBS got way too bloated in terms of a cast and that was partially the reason for everything spiraling out of control. The main issue I'm having is what would I consider a decent cast. I'm looking at only 7 to 9 excluding myself. Roughly half of those spots would be reserved for RP'ers United Club members at first. Anyway, I'll give it some thought. It stills needs a bit of touch up work anyway, but if I decide to follow your suggestion then I may put it up this weekend. And yeah, Pokemon has always been slow. On the other hand, it's managed to live for 2 years. It might not be the fastest moving, but at least it hasn't died out. Myself, Temp, Emiya and Ugo have been the only recent posters. Destiny is unfortunately now stuck on patrol in the Navy or whatever, Toyumi's character is tied to Fenris who has essentially jumped ship, Roxas disappeared about 2 weeks ago and the rest of the cast seems to have abandoned the RP altogether the moment I stuck that Change Log up. Temp PM'ed me to question the minimum number of members I would be willing to keep the RP alive with and I replied that I don't really know at the moment. I'll keep things going for as long as possible, but I believe that the whole Change Log business and me cracking down on everyone has effectively ended this one. Pokemon: To Live and Learn - As stated above, I'll get to posting tonight. It'll hopefully be a big post that will stick everyone on the ship to Aster City so that we can finally get out of Zephyranth (I say 'finally', even though we haven't really been there for that long). Just a heads up, but I think I mentioned before that we won't be going directly to Aster City, as I have another event in mind. I just need to make sure before my post after next that I have this planned out well enough to last a little while. Also, I promise to get Victor, Parker, Shinji and Fenris on the ball with the Team Vanguard thing. Adele has been pretty much the entire focus of attention since the group left Primrose. Of course, that attention was building up to what happened in Zephyranth, but now that that has blown over we should really get back to trying to give Fenris/Shinji/Parker their own time in the light. Knights for the Night - As I discussed with Toyumi above, I may decide to follow her suggestion and start the RP possibly this weekend (since I have enough time off of work to finish it up for posting). My suggestion to anyone that is interested would be to PM me or post here in the RP'ers club that you have an interest. You don't have to commit to joining, but at least let me know if you have an interest so that I know who to offer spots in the RP to first. I understand that no-one wants to commit to joining before they see the RP Profile in full (including the story, setting and whatnot), but I want to give a little advance notice due to the limited cast. |

@Jon I haven't quit UtPBS2 just yet, I was both tired from hectic schedule and having a writer's block and taken away by XCOM and DOTA, I might try making a post this weekend, sorry, but yeah, didn't expect my schedule is getting hectic as it goes Anyhow, same goes for all the RPs I'm in. Anyhow, if I'm being honest here... somehow the RP scene is getting slower and slower... Well, Time Forgets ups the pace for just a little while, and then it slows down.  |

@jon:Well,the Change Log hasn't affected me by much,and I could definitely used it(since I tend to go OP sometimes ;P).It's just that I'm running dry on ideas to move the story on,though.But I'll do my best. I'm somewhat surprised that my new RP only has 1 participant,despite being one of the few zombie-based RP.Then again,maybe 'cause it wasn't "complete" as of yet.....(I could use a help on the map for the RP,though). |

@Landon, Snake, Temp - Alright then. I just figured that the Change Log killed things, since that's pretty much what I was expecting it would do. ~Edit~ @Roxas - Ah, I see. That is an absurdly long time for a net blackout. I remember that the sole internet provider where I live had their building burn to the ground years ago and we still only lost internet/phone/etc service for like a few days (of course, the government then realized how stupid it was to only have the one company providing those kinds of services for the entire area). @Snake - I think it's more of a problem with too many new RP's springing up recently. The same thing happened with Roxas and Zou's RP's as well. That's one of the reasons I'm kind of unsure about posting Knights for the Night at the moment, but Toyumi had a good point, so I'm thinking I'm going to risk it anyway. Alright, here's the framework for Knights for the Night. Some parts of it need a bit of cleaning up, but you can see what direction the RP will take from this. It is going to be a more lighthearted style (similar to my Pokemon RP), so there won't be a lot of dark themes or gruesome situations and so forth. I have not been able to post much or come on much as of recent. For I've been preoccupied by school and work. But school is almost over now, my assignments are done as far as I could tell. Sadly, I am still unable to come on since I had caught the flu. But I should be able to come online more once all of this is over. As for my rp.... I am currently having a writer's block.  |

@ Jon- Your RP sounds really interesting, it's certainly something that I'm interested in joining (I already have a general idea for my character in mind, hope you don't mind me trying out the "character with a past" type XD). The terms you used remind me a bit of Homestuck (Pages, Knights), so I'll warn you now about the possibility of references. Just a quick question, but we would be creating the page/fairy that would coincide with our main character, right? (If that's the case then have an idea for that too XD) Also, I plan on posting in the Pokemon RP probably tomorrow. |

@Toyumi - I don't have any idea what Homestuck is aside from a previous reference that you made to following it. I just used actual terminology for the most part (Pages, Knights and Squires are historical terms). I kind of want to look up this Homestuck thing and find out what it's all about so that I can avoid making references, but I also don't so that I avoid taking ideas from it. And yes, Pages will be created by each member. I'm not going to create them in advance and then have people pick them, since that kind of takes away from the freedom of character creation. And I'm glad you like it. There's still a bit of work that needs done though, since I didn't really explain the plot all that well. I might post it this weekend depending on whether or not people start showing back up/exams get finished with. And that's fine with Pokemon. My friend is going through exams in University, so I kind of figure that quite a few of the people around Gendou are as well. I don't expect much progress to be made in any RP for the next week or two. Edit: @Toyumi and Fenris - I guess I should clarify one major detail that I accidentally left out, which is the time period. It's a present day kind of deal and the characters involved are just everyday people. I just wanted to bring this up before you guys go putting in a bunch of work. I also don't have any of the rules posted yet, so take that into consideration. |

@ Jon- Oh my gosh, let me tell you about Homestuck. It's a lovely webcomic about 4 kids, some trolls, more kids and more trolls, and a game that causes the end of the world. I got excited because Pages and Knights are two classes of Godtiers in the comic. Anyway, uh, I'll stop fangirling over it, it's really long (There are over 7000 pages in it, having 6 acts, with 2 sub-acts in Act 5 and 5 sub-acts in Act 6, and some intermissions between these acts as well) and also unlikely that there will be any references made to the actual webcomic in your RP (Since it's very... Well, unorthodox is a good word for it. Or non-conventional). There's a wiki for it if you want to look up any terms or whatever. XD Also, regarding your RP and what you said in your PM, I haven't even started working on the characters yet, so don't worry about it. They're just ideas and I probably won't even start working on them until the RP has been posted. |

Got the story rolling again in my RP. I hope people are still interested ;_; I actually really do want to finish it, it's just real life seems to always swamp me whenever I start an RP. I also reserved a spot for Knights of the Night, just because of that P4G battle song. (jk. But seriously, I love it so much sometimes I intentionally don't go for Player Advantage) I love the concept. I'd go more into it, but real life calls! o/ |

@Toyumi - I can see you're awfully hooked on it. You're right though, it's a little too dense for me to jump in to at this point if it's at 7000+ pages. It sounds like one of those things that you only get into if you've been following it since a relatively early stage. I've got the same problem with One Piece which my friend is a die-hard fan of and wants me to get into, but I simply can't wade through the truck load of content in order to catch up. Anyway, as long as I'm not unknowingly swiping ideas from it then I'm glad. @Aoi - Nice to see that I'm not the only one around here with P4G (although Izumo has it as well). lol It can be hard to keep an RP going even if you are constantly on top of it, but being absent from it for a while tends to make matters even worse. I think I've only ever seen it hold out in Free and Dream when Kenji vanished for a while. Anyway, glad to see you joining in on Knight for the Night. I haven't been in an RP with you for a while now. ---------------------------------------------Updates--------------------------------------------- Under the Pale Blue Sky 2 - Despite the fact that I've started Knights for the Night, I'm not abandoning UtPBS2. I'll be trying to keep the voyage short, since there aren't a lot of things to do aboard a crowded ship, but for the time being I'll post and see how the whole Fenris/Parker/Adele thing wraps up. Knights for the Night - RP is posted and the cast is now closed. I had 3 people PM me in advance about interest in the RP and the rest were filled by various members. Several profiles are already completed, so it shouldn't be too long before we get started. Let's see how this turns out. |

Hmm... I wanted to join Knights, but it seems it got closed before I noticed it. As for UtPBS, I didn't really abandon it yet, but... I'm still waiting for Snake to post. |
