[Clef Mansion] After finishing his story Fenris had waited the response from Vivian's parents. Once Vivian's father finished Fenris let out a sigh of relief. The tension he had felt was like before Vivian had answered him back at the Stormcaller Mansion, times two. He took a step forward and grasped the arm of Vivian's father by the wrist, a warrior's greeting that was used in the North. He looked straight at him. Fenris: I will.

[Vivian][Clef Mansion] As Anke was congratulating Vivian on her parents approving of Fenris and Fenris promising that he will protect her, Vivian started to relax. This is all coming together so fast, it's so... Dream-like, Vivian thought, It doesn't seem real. As Fenris shook her father's hand he smiled, a rarity for a hardened warrior like him, and started to talk while still looking at Fenris, yet Vivian could tell by the tone of his voice that he was addressing everyone in the room. "Well, now there are other matters to deal with," her father said, "Such as passing on the mansion to you two. And of course there's passing on the Illusion Master title as well..." He paused, and gave quick look over at Vivian, who started blushing. Why did he have to mention that? Vivian thought, I'm still young! And passing on the Illusion Master title means... Having children... Vivian was still blushing when he father started to chuckled and looked back at Fenris again. "But those matter can wait," her father continued, "You're still young, and on an adventure, whether you want to be on it or not. I know that stopping here can only be temporary, and eventually you'll have to move on again. So take your time, and live your life while you;re young. We can deal with matters like these at a later date." Her father now loosened the grip he had while shaking Fenris' hand, and after a moment or two, let go to go and comfort her mother, who was still wiping away tear from being so happy. Vivian's face was still a bright red, despite that her father was only joking about what he had said before. "Vivian, I'll help your mother calm down," Her father said, "You go show Anke where to spend the night, all of the guest rooms are available. Your room is just as you left it, so you and Fenris and spend the night in there together." He smiled again, because he knew he was making Vivian embarrassed. Vivian's face stayed at a bright red, and she tripped a little bit as she started to walk out of the room. "Alright. Fenris, Anke, follow me." Vivian said. She went out into the hallway, and walked straight down the hallway until she reached some stairs. She went up the stairs, and as soon as she was on the next floor she sighed a sigh of relief. She turned around to Anke and Fenris, and hugged both of them. "He approves!" Vivian squealed, "He's such a tough guy, but... He was actually okay with it. I thought he would give you a hard time, but I guess not... Although I hated how he had to tease me and embarrass me like that..."

Anke l Celf Mansion Anke was happy that all the tension had melted, she was laughing a little as Vivian's father picked on her and teased her about marriage and children. Especially with the comment about spending the night in Vivian's room, alone with Fenris. Anke would really get her for that when she got the chance. She was relieved to be escorted out of the room and away from Vivian's parents though. She was tired and probably looked a mess, all Anke really wanted was a nice warm shower and a good night's sleep. She was still kind of fatigued from the traveling. They were walking down the halls and Vivian was going on about how she was happy her father approved and that she wished he hadn't teased her. Anke smirked. "You think the teasing is going to stop there?" she asked playfully, "think again sister! You're going to be spending the night with Fenris here, in your room alone! Do you know what that means?" Anke didn't give either one a chance to respond she stepped right out in front of Fenris forcing him to stop abruptly. "You had better keep it PG-13 sir! Or else I will use my medical knowledge to do terrible things to you..." She turned to vivian, "unless of course you want him to do such things...." She trailed off with a wry smile. Then snapped back to serious and jabbed a finger at Fenris, who was one of the few people that towered over her, since Anke herself was a whopping six feet tall. "You had better not hurt her ever, cause not only will you have her old man to deal with, you'll have me!" She softened some, "But I'm happy for both of you, and I know you'll protect my best friend, Fenris, You've always been a good guy!"

[Talisman] Both Talisman and Kota had been walking through the capital after Talisman had retrieved Kota from the barracks in the Black Ops base. Before the two had left the base their drill instructor, Hunter, had caught them before the entry of the base and handed Talisman a small stack of files and pushed them into his bag. They thanked Hunter and signed out at the entry base and had been walking through the capital. As they walked through the capital, the cool dark night began to show its true self. The streets slowly began to become much livelier than the busy daytime. Kids were running wild, bars were starting to fill up, but as Talisman and Kota continued their walk home, they were forced to stop from people asking Talisman if they could pet Kota. “The town seems to be much more livelier.” said Talisman looking around. ”It’s as if what happened two weeks ago didn’t even occur. And it looks like most of these people around here are graduates from the academy.” “It would seem so,” Kota sighed. “Tho you have to agree it is quite peaceful when we aren’t running around on a mission.” “You seem tired, but I do agree,” said Talisman taking a deep breath. “But it would be much more peaceful if we didn’t have to stop so some person can pet you.” “Not my fault.” added Kota. “It’s rare to see a dog walk besides its handler so obediently. Anyways, aren’t you going to read those files Hunter gave you?” “I will,” Talisman replied.”Just not out in the open. Look around, city guards are on alert, last thing I is them asking me question. Let’s just get home first.” After about an hour of walking, Talisman and Kota arrived at a dormitory close at the edge of the city on the side of a hill. They had always rented out a room every time they were ever in Ivalice, seeing as Kota and Talisman had always taken missions they never had the time to buy a permanent place to stay. So they ended up renting the same room at the dormitory every time. Talisman and Kota walked up to the top floor to their room and went in. As they entered their room Talisman locked the door behind him, turning on the lights and took out the files Hunter had given them before they left the base and sat down at his desk near the window and began going over the blueprints and profiles given to him, at the same time letting his ears and tail loose from hiding them, while Kota went and laid down on the bed and began to daze off. “This place hasn’t changed one bit, all my stuff from before we left is still here. And it’s a good thing Hunter gave us this information today.” said Talisman as he read through the files. “It’s going to take me awhile to go through all this. We even have permission for this assignment... looks like I’ll have to use my Black Ops I.D. to verify that I’m part of the military’s Black Ops.” “Whatever Talisman. Anyways, you told the landlord to at least keep the place clear.” Kota yawned. “It’s only natural she would keep this place would be clean. Plus, you shouldn’t stay up too late; we got to head over to the Clef Mansion early in the morning.” “Don’t worry about me.” said Talisman. “You got the easy part of being quiet and acting like a pet, while I’m going to be the one in talking. Just do your part and stay beside me. After I’m done here, I’ll take a quick shower and go to bed.” Kota didn’t respond to Talisman and had already fallen asleep. Talisman looked out the window staring at the crescent shaped moon. -I wonder if I really would ever get the chance again to return to Shinmei.- Talisman thought. -For all I know, Yuri could be waiting for me to come back home and I’m stuck here. Sadly, there are more important matters to deal with and I have to get back to work.- Talisman returned to reviewing over the file given to him. He constantly went over the blueprints of the buildings and the land and also the profiles of the residents. Talisman was so focused on his work and had lost track of time, it was already midnight. He put the papers scattered across back into their proper folders and put them into his bag. He went into the bathroom and took a quick shower before he went to bed. Talisman left the bathroom dressed in his pants while scratching his ears, yawning. As Talisman scratched his ears, he turned off the lights to the room and jumped into bed with Kota sleeping at the foot of his bed. Not soon after Talisman had fallen asleep waiting for the morning.

[Vivian][Clef Mansion] "You think the teasing is going to stop there?" Anke asked her, "Think again sister! You're going to be spending the night with Fenris here, in your room alone! Do you know what that means?" Vivian was getting more and more embarrassed as Anke went on with teasing her, and she stepped between Vivian and Fenris. "You had better keep it PG-13 sir!" Anke said, "Or else I will use my medical knowledge to do terrible things to you... Unless of course you want him to do such things..." Anke trailed off and turned to Vivian with a smile for the last part, which brought Vivian's face to a bright red. What? But, but, but... I wasn't planning on doing anything like that! Vivian thought in frustration, trying to get the thought out of her head, I mean I do love Fenris and granted we will have to do things like that sometime, but... Why did Anke have to bring this up? Vivian could tell Anke was only teasing and messing with her, but it still made Vivian embarrassed. "You had better not hurt her ever," Anke said facing Fenris, "Cause not only will you have her old man to deal with, you'll have me! But I'm happy for both of you, and I know you'll protect my best friend, Fenris, You've always been a good guy!" Vivian tried to shake away the embarrassment and continued walking forward. "Um, uh, yeah. Thanks Anke... Now let's move on." Vivian said quickly, trying to get the words out. She walked briskly past three doors, but at the fourth she stopped. "Here's your room," Vivian said, "It has it's own bathroom, and everything in there should be clean as well. But first let me show you a few more things on this floor before you can settle down in there." Vivian walked up to the room next to Anke's rooms. "This was my old playing room when I was younger," Vivian said, "Although it's turned into something more like my personal study as I got older and more interested in books. The main library is back downstairs." She then walked to the next room. "And here's my room." Vivian said as she opened the door. Her room was quite large one, with hard wood floors and dark blue walls. She had a large king size bed on the wall to her right, with two small bedside table on either side of the bed. On the wall to her left were two doors, one that led to a bathroom and the other that led to her closet. As she walked in, she could see that her piano and harp were still in the room against the wall that had the door. But the most impressive thing about the room was the wall opposite the one with the door, which was filled with large windows that almost went from the floor to the ceiling. The windows gave an impressive view of the "backyard" of the Clef Mansion, as it looked out into a field that gave away to a forest that went on as far as one could see. Vivian was happy that there was a full moon out, since the scene looked even more magical in the moonlight. Tucked away in the corner of the room, next to the door to her closet, was a telescope. "My room seems a bit lifeless, since I took most of my trinkets to the academy with me," Vivian said, "But still, welcome to my room." Vivian then gave a smile to Anke and Fenris, still blushing from Anke and her father teasing her.

[Western Border] Vincent had ripped both sleeves of his dress shirt off, including what was left of his left one, and began to turn them in bandages, wrapping them around his arm to stop the bleeding. "Well according to the statement you just made I believe it is safe to say that the ones who attacked us are dead, that is assuming that fox guy who popped up a week ago actually managed to kill the big guy. Speaking of which, I suppose it's no use to ask you what happened to him, judging by how you're acting at the moment." He tightened the wrappings and flexed his arm to the best of his ability to make sure it held. "I will be going to the Clef family's house for now, I need to speak with Vivian briefly. Feel free to accompany me as far as that point, but that will be where we part ways."

[Clef Mansion] Fenris had stayed silent as Vivian had shown them around the house a bit and he didn't get a change to reply to Anke as Vivian once again lead them forwards. He was smiling as Anke kept teasing Vivian, but he could also feel light blush rising to his own cheeks. He shook it off as they entered Vivian's room. He walked next to Vivian and sat down on the floor next to her. Fenris: That went quite well, I'd say. Though I have to admit I was extremely nervous the whole time. He was smiling widely as he kept talking. Fenris: I think we'll be safe here for a while at least, which gives us some time. He winked at Vivian, so that Anke didn't notice and then grinned widely.

Anke l Clef Mansion Anke could tell she thoroughly embarrassed her best friend, and so decided not to further her attempts to fluster the younger girl. She stayed quiet as Vivian showed them around the home a little, only making small nods of approval. She enjoyed seeing Vivian's home, but missed the fact that her best friend had yet to see her own home. She would have to take them there after the chaos settled down some. "Your room isn't lifeless!" Anke protested as she peered though the door at her best firend's bed room, "It's really pretty!" She put her hands on her hips, "Well I'm going to let you two alone now, and retire to my bed room, Thank you for everything tonight Vivian, sorry if I went a little too far with my teasing." She gave a little laugh. "Good night you two!"

[Vivian][Clef Mansion] Anke had apologized for her teasing, in which Vivian had nodded in reply. Anke then said good night to her and Fenris, and Vivian had called out a good night as she was leaving the room. After she had left, Vivian got up to make sure the door was shut, and then went over to Fenris and sat down on his lap. "So embarrassing!" Vivian muttered. She sighed now that they were gone, but she knew her face was still red. "Both my father and Anke," Vivian continued, "I love them both very dearly, but why must they tease us like that? I knew they were only kidding but their teasing is still very embarrassing!" She hugged Fenris and rested her head on him. "Even though they were teasing, it was still true..." Vivian said quietly.

[Clef Mansion] Fenris was glad that they could have some time alone. He knew that his face was red too as was her's, but right now he didn't mind it at all. He stood up lifting Vivian with him and took off his chainmail jacket, that really wasn't comfortable to lean against to. He folded it and placed it on one of the chairs on the room, resting his weapons against the chair, he also removed the padded shirt he wore under the chainmail. He was left standing with simple short sleeved white shirt. He also removed his boots. He then sat down on the edge of the bed grabbing Vivian and embracing her gently. Fenris: Yeah, I guess it is true... He looked at Vivian smiling. Fenris: So, what do you want to do? There was no expectations in his voice it was just that, a simple question to the one he loved.

[Vivian][Clef Mansion] Before Fenris did anything he took off all of his gear, his weapons, chainmail jacket, the padding under the jacket, and finally, his boots. Vivian hadn't even noticed that he still had everything on. I guess it's because of my father, Vivian thought, I grew up being around those sort of things, I always hugged my father whenever he came home from a mission, so weapons and gear and the sort must not bother me anymore. Bringing Vivian with him, Fenris sat down at the edge of her bed. "Yeah, I guess it is true..." Fenris said, looking at her and smiling, "So, what do you want to do?" "Hold on," Vivian said quickly. She hopped off the bed, and went into the bathroom. She quickly changed out of the skirt and shirt she was wearing and took off her shoes, leaving only a lightweight black dress slip on over. She put on a light blue silk robe over the dress slip, then got back out of the bathroom and went back up on the bed, sitting next to Fenris and leaning on his shoulder. She knew that her cheeks were a light rosy pink, and when she looked up to Fenris' face she saw that he was blushing as well. What do I want to do? Vivian thought, Quite honestly, that question is so vague to me right now. There isn't much I can think of at the moment, and yet there is still so much I would love to do in life. Get the job of my dreams. Travel and see all the beautiful places of our world. And, my most important, have children with Fenris and just be with him forever and ever. Yet all of these dreams could be shattered at a moment's notice. We are being hunted down. We could get captured, we could be separated. Or an even scarier thought... We could be killed... All the dreams I have, all the things I want to do... "I don't know," Vivian replied slowly but confidently, "I'm willing to do anything as long as I'm with you." She looked up and smiled at Fenris, able to see him clearly in the moonlight. She brought her head up to kiss him, and then leaned it back on his shoulder again.

Anke l Clef Mansion Anke had closed the door to Vivian's room behind her, leaving her two best friend to themselves, to do whatever. She let them out of her mind and began to turn her attention back to getting her true body back. She couldn't help but worry about it. She didn't know if her family had returned yet or not. She didn't know if maybe they found it, or if someone else had. Surely that military general pursuing them would have figured out her mind body switch and perhaps even gone to her home to sabotage the body she left behind. I don't know what I should do. If I leave this body and find out that my true body is destroyed I can't return to it, and it will be hard to find another body that is just lying out in time. Spirits only get twenty-four hours to find an abandoned vessel. I would have to find a body that has been used by another family member or one that my family stripped of it's soul. Anke sat down on the bed in her room, still consumed by her thoughts. I should really see if I can find my brother, he would be able to help ensure my body's safety, or if I could find any of my family. She sighed and wondered if Vivian's parents had noticed her odd appearances. She let her mind wonder to the rest of the group. She wondered where they were and how they were doing. She opened the bag she had brought with her from home. She took out a long night gown and slipped into it. She laid down and stared at the ceiling; waiting for sleep to find her.

'Aeon' said to Vincent, before glancing at his injuries, "and with you in that condition I'll be accompanying you for a bit longer, at least until it looks like you won't bleed out just from walking around. Besides, it's not like I know where I'm going" he said with a smirk.

[Clef Mansion] Vivian: "I don't know, I'm willing to do anything as long as I'm with you." Fenris smiled at Vivian's answer as he realised that it was what he would have answered as well. Right now it didn't matter what he would do, as long as she was with him he would be content. They sat there for a while just enjoying the warmth of eachother. He turned his head and looked out from the window. The full moon had painted the landscape with it's silvery light making the view look almost unreal in it's tranquility. He stood up picking Vivian from the bed and sat down in a chair that overlooked the "backyard". He was holding Vivian on his lap her head resting against his shoulder. He couldn't help but to smile. He brushed a strand of hair away from her face. Fenris: This is where my soul belongs... He then sat there silently, watching her, his fingers entwined with her's.

[Near Clef Estate] Vincent stood outside the gates to the large house and looked up at it blankly. "I guess this is it. It's the only needlessly large house we have come across so far." He jumped over the gate and began to make his way towards the front door. "Come on then. Maybe someone can figure out what's going on with you."

[Vivian][Clef Mansion] Fenris smiled at her, apparently happy with her answer. They sat there for awhile, then Fenris picked her up and brought her to a chair that was near the windows. She sat on his lap and he brushed a stray stand of hair out of her face. "This is where my soul belongs..." Fenris said as he was looking down at her, holding her hand with their fingers entwined. Vivian sat there, looking up at him and then back at the scenery of the estate below them. Suddenly, she brought both of her hands around his neck and kissed him, staying there for a long time. After awhile, she slowly broke the kiss, slightly blushing. "I had to get that out of my system," Vivian said, "Everything is just so beautiful right now..." She brought her hands back down, and held hands with Fenris again. "What do you plan on doing?" Vivian asked, "What are your goals in life? Your dreams?" Vivian knew it was a sudden question, but it was something she had been thinking about with herself recently. She had an idea of some things she wanted to do in life, and she did have vague ideas of what Fenris was going to do, but they were still vague and she wanted to know more. [Group of Guards][Clef Estate] "Now, where did you see these two men break in?" a large guard asked. "It was over here sir," a smaller one replied, "And I know it isn't one of the family members, because they would have just used... Well, you know, their powers." "I get it man..." The larger one said, but then stopped as he saw two guys ('Aeon' and Vincent) walking towards the mansion. "Hold it you two!" the larger guard called out. He briskly walked over to them with a hand on his sword, yet he didn't unsheathe it yet. The other walked behind the larger guard, however he did not unsheathe or even have a hand on his sword. "If you two needed to come in," the larger guard continued, "You should have came in politely, and asked one of us to show you the way to the mansion. However, I do have to say this is an odd hour of the night, so state your reasons for being here." As he said this the tone of his voice became more and more serious. They had to make sure no one unwanted came into the mansion, or else it could end in death.

[Kenji Kurayami|Academy] Kenji traveled some ways back to where it all started.It was where things will get interesting he knew.He had his members gather there. "It really has been a while since...I've left this place." he said as he stood at the outskirts of the Academy.He then saw the hill with two swords protruding from the ground.Two very familiar swords. He knew something was wrong.There were three swords there the last time he saw it.He went towards it and saw the swords.Hanasu and Sora.The twin swords of the fallen warrior. He discarded his Chokuto.It had been badly damaged.He then took up the twin swords,Hanasu and Sora.Deciding he wanted to rename it,he thought for a few moments as to what the names will be.He decided to name them Arashiryuken and Hiryuken.Then he remembered the third sword that was put here a few months before. "So,he's still active is he?" he said as he had saw an ever smiling face with white hair in his mind. "It's time to find him again." Kenji said as he went towards the academy.

He smiled at her and returned the kiss she gave him. His gaze then wandered back to the moon. Fenris: But after all this is over? I want to see the world, the East, the West, the North and the South, there's still so much to see. And after that? He shrugged his shoulders. Fenris: Settle down somewhere and... His voice trailed off and he turned to look at Vivian, he then leaned closer and whispered into her ear. Fenris: Maybe a child or two.

[Kenji Kurayami|Academy] Kenji reached the big gates of the academy.It had been the same as he had left it some few months ago.He could still hear the ringing of swords and spears as he remembered the battle that took place here before the cadets ran away. He could still vividly see the goblin heads rolling away from their bodies as Shiroyuki struck one,Noctis using his lightning current move to create a big crater and Fenris had used his storm skills. Kenji shook his head and pushed opened the massive gates with ease. Yes,it had been exactly as he had left the academy.Everything was burned to the ground and the buildings lay destroyed.Little else remained standing. "It took you quite a bit,Kenji." one man said as he appeared from thin air beside Kenji.He had flaming red hair and a well built body.He was wearing the same cloak as Kenji was. "I got delayed a bit,Shinji." Kenji merely said to Shinji as he looked around. "I take it the others are already here." Kenji said as he stood in the middle of the school yard.This would be were the training dummies used to be. "Nope,we're the only ones that arrived this early." Shinji said as he pulled a scythe out of thin air.The scythe was as tall as he was and had a black blade.Rumor has it that the blade turned black as it absorbed the life force of it's victims. "Care to spare a bit until they arrive?The last bit of action I saw was with that goblin chieftain." Shinji said as he licked the blade of his scythe. "Shinji,this is no time for us to play games.He still lives." Kenji said as he looked at the gate Noctis destroyed in the process of escaping. "He's probably holed up there.Gather the others and see if he really is there.I'll leave immediately.I have to talk to another person." Kenji said as he looked at the general direction of the abandoned castle. "As you wish." Shinji said and disappeared again. "It's time to start this war." Kenji said as he held out a hand and opened a portal. [Kenji Kurayami|Clef estates] He entered the portal and stepped out at near the clef estates.He could see Vincent going to the front gates.He flash stepped a few meters infront of him. "Greetings,Mr.Vincent." Kenji said calmly "I wish to talk with you regarding your earlier actions."
