Sorry i haven't been around this thread for quite some time, been working on some projects & i wanted to finish them before i post again. I see & notice some fabulous artwork from regular contributers as well as some newcomers. I'm gonna go through all the artwork that has been posted since my last 'massive' comment critique so expect another one very soon. Hopefully Angelus-san doesn't get too jealous of me for beating him in larger posts :P Anyways here are some of the new works that i've been playing around with...the usual bus sketches that i often do. Some cleaner ones are still being touched up on, i'll post those as soon as they are ready. Until than enjoy these ones... *I'll do my usual post of reasonably sized & thumbnailed* 1:  *notes* I would really like Renma-san to see this cause it is my very poor attempt at making Kohaku look 'sensual & sexy'. I had the idea of what i wanted to do in my head but as soon as i put it to paper it didn't turn out as well as i hoped. Most notable is the messup on her bow, the other side should've been added too. 2:  *notes* Kanu from Ikkitousen! My absolute fave character in the series. This pic is from *ahem* a pillow case i have. On one side is this pic on the other is of her...naked. Just so everyone knows i don't use it, i just display it. Anyways love how sexy & beautiful Kanu looks. 3:  *notes* I used another reference pic for this one. The original was more detailed & had Freedom in the background. I removed the mech & focused on Kira & Lacus. Also i made it less detailed but overall i thought it was a simple presentation.  |

Oh wow .____________. You impressed me Izumo.. I Really love them Especially *cough*Kohaku*cough* one.. But yeah.. Somehow it feels wrong.. Hmmm. I Thought Kohaku has Short hair,, Did you made that into some kind of Long hair version?  |

@ Renma-san Thanks i appreciate the kind words. As for Kohaku, well those are suppose to be her bangs but i made them too long. The whole pic is a failure in trying to capture Kohaku in a more innocent & sensual look. However as soon as i put it too paper & started to sketch it out little by little mistakes arose. Some of the things that look like hair is actually ribbons & pieces of her clothing. Overall disappointed in the results, so currently trying again being much more accurate. |

| Thankies! <3 Well, usually I use SAI painter or open canvas 4.06+ for lineart and adobe photoshop CS 3 for coloring (though I prefer CS 2 because it's more stable, but I'm too lazy to reinstall xD) |

@lust : hahaha yup, agreed^^, yours always have a soft feeling flows^^. OK this mine today, finished 2 hours ago, or i could say this a half finished job, just a line art. @ Izumo & Renma well i think she is kohaku enough.

As promised here is my critique of the art that has been posted since the last time i did one of these massive replies. Like previous versions i will do it by date. Expect fancy colors as usual. Without further adieu lets get started cause i'm gonna be here for awhile T___T! Mass comment list for May - June @ Darky-san 05/01/08 - More cute sketches! I really like the one on the left with the 2 girls, like the expressions of each, one being annoyed the other no care in the world. - the sort of miko girl is cute too. Not sure what the infinity sign is for but i like the stars...it makes her look likes she's radiant :D 05/17/08 - Aria loli. I really liked the colored pic, the sketch is good too. I love your 'Lucky Star' inspired drawings. good series to use as a refernce i would say. 06/16/08 - random notebook sketches. Hehehe! love the droolong pic...i can relate to that when i was in school. The tennis girl is cute too...although her racket is a tad small, looks more acustomed to pingpong. @ Red-san 05/01/08 - Radical Dreamers sketches look cool as usual! I like your weapon designs as well as the characters. THe only slight although minor is that it is beginning to appear like your characters are looking the same. It doesn't matter now but if you do intend to go pro (publishing stuff) you may want to change the look of them to make them more different. For example one of my fave artist Kazue Yamamoto (Izumo, Castle Fantasia) lately is getting repetitive in her designs of characters...i still love her stuff but it's getting a little dull. 05/05/08 - 05/06/08 - Kamen Rider CG is impressive. Although i'm unsure if it is the finished work cause it would look more impressive if it had a background of some sort. Overall good CG work. @ TM-san 05/05/08 - Really impressive CG work!! The shading & coloring for the 2 guys are fantastic. Not to mention the pic itself...the use of perspective is nice. 06/01/08 - BLAME! Whoa! a pretty dark & atmospheric pic there. It was a little hard to see some of the things in the pic, or it could just be the sun shining in XD. Another great rendition from you! Awesome pic for what i can see. 06/21/08 - Modified Typemoon fanart. All of them look really cool. The perspective in some of the drawings is really good. You have a cool imagination when it comes to doing something like this. I think Takeuchi-san would be proud!! 06/26/08 - Knight of Apocalypse. Original characters i presume? Again impressive stuff!! 06/30/08 - Hisui. She looks badass compared to her original quiet demenour. I wouldn't mind seeing this version in a MeltyBlood game!!! XD @ werrior-san 05/06/08 - Really nice detail & theme. One gal really looks like Shana :D Cute fun pic! @ Immpy-san 05/06/08 - Sasuke x Hinata. For an old sketch it looks really good. Great detail & design of the characters. The naruto doll in the pic is cute too. - World Ends with You. Haven't played the game cause i don't have a DS, but i've heard good things about the game. Again nice detail but since i have no real idea what the character looks like i can't really comment on it. Overall it is well done. - The cat pic is adorable! You really are good at drawing animals aren't you. 05/14/08 - Sakura. Pretty good using an archaic program like MSPaint. I don't see much wrong with it, you did good! 05/18/08 - I'm so Blue. Even better pic using MSPaint. Love the expression & effects :D @ Suzaku-san 05/07/08 - Bokutachi + Request KyoTohru + Request L & Kyoya. Great looking sketches! Well done in all aspects. Your consistency in drawing is one of your best traits. Simple looking with enough detail to make the pic stand out. - Legend of Zelda. The pic is no longer up T__T! - Tegaki 3. Another simple looking pic but it still stands out cause of the added color. @ Ich-san 05/08/08 - CG Avatar. Cute design for your avatar creator. Looks like Hatsune Mikuru...the vocaloid :D - CG Avatar 2. This time more creativity than the first. again cute design. 06/04/08 - CG Avatar male. Cool desgins again. You have this down pat i would say! - Good tutorial you posted for drawing hands! 06/09/08 - Scavenger Phantom Set. If you really wanted you can make some web RPG game like MapleStory. Or even a simple flash game with the designs you come up with. 06/15/08 - Hunter Set. getting tired so i guess you can read your posts above for my critique....gomen. 06/15/08 - Card set. Again i'd be repeating the same thing over & over again...nice work! @ Shiki-san 05/09/08 - Shinjuku Shuffle. Unfortunately the pic is no longer up T___T! @ Revelation-san 05/13/08 - Smiling guy sketch. Thanks for gracing us with your VERY FIRST DRAWING EVER!!! Yeah i can concur with the pic. A guy will be one emotion than the next after a break-up once he sees another hot young thing. @ Hisa-san 05/13/08 - Lycergcopy. Nice character design. Was it inspired by anything cause i see some similarities to another anime character but i can't think of it off the top of my head. Anyways nice detail there as well. @ Angelus-san Hahaha! I have my secrets on where i get all those wonderful colors XDD Hey, no worries i'm not gonna even try to compete with you in long posts. I try to make it as short as i can but it can get difficult :P 05/22/08 - Azuld'jin. Nice pencil techniques you did on the pic. Soft & it really stands out from some of the colored pics here. Good job! 06/17/08 - Dango! Dango! Cute! Makes me more frantic waiting for the 'After Story'!!!!! 06/28/08 - Grayscaled. I love your pencil work! It's so soft & subtle looking. Alot of detail as well!!! Awesome work! @ Mel-san 05/24/08 - Girl sketch. A really good sketch. the face looks nice, very proportional. Nice details as well. You did the hands really well. Overall a good pic. Try expanding on it if you want cause you have the basics down well. @ Dfly-san 06/03/08 - L paint. A fabulous pic of L!!! What makes it even better is that it was painted by hand & not using a PC program. I always think that doing things manually makes things more..how you say...fullfilling. I'm not against using a PC but i feel that i'm not doing much of the work, the PC is. Wonderful job is all i can say!! - Submition. I guess this one was using a PC. Very nice job on the color & i have to say i have no idea what is in her/his hand :D - color vector. I'm no expert in PC vectoring so i can't really critique it. The drawing is well done though. Very unique character design. @ Celia-san 06/04/08 - Chibi pics. They look absolutely adorable. i really like the Inuyasha one XDDD!! The other character looks familiar but my mind is at a blank T__T! - Chibi pic 2. Again another character that escapes me!!! Like your past drawings very cute! @ Fai-san 06/07/08 - elf girl lineart. Wonderful design, good use of detail, nothing bad i can really say about it. The dress she is wearing is really a nice design. Feels like it would be something from those times. @ hhy-san 06/12/08 - Latino radio. Hahahahah!!! that's awesome! Funny stuff!! It sure looks like Yat, Miko, & Aya are enjoying the rave!! Nice one! @ Likun-san 06/14/08 - Angel girl. WOW!! now that is some really really impressive detail in the pic. Excellent character design in both the girl & her wardrobe (whatever little she has on :P). Really nice job totally!!! 06/25/08 - Present for Huy. Another cute girl. Although not as impressive as the Angel girl but it still has its charm, & it was done for someone which makes it even more special. @ Jow-san 06/17/08 - Ayu from Honey & Clover. Love the coloring, the color in her hair is nice. Overall a great pic! @ chidoriochibi-san 06/20/08 - Tenipuri fanwork. Very bishonen/bishoujo style of artwork! have you ever thought of making your own bishonen/bishoujo manga? Cause the use of tone & 'pro' feel to your stuff is what makes me think that you can do it. Just a thought. Continue the great style! 06/27/08 - 1000 hits!! Congrats!! Is it for your website or myspace page or something in that line? Sexy! @ Eman-san 06/22/08 - Colored pic. Good use of color, very lively. I guess it's an original character right? 06/28/08 - Colored pic 2. Like the first one good job with the color. Another original character? @ Takosenna-san 06/25/08 - Bleach pics. Super job on the pics. Nice job on the color, not overpowering the pic. @ Rin8-san 06/28/08 - Kamijo. Good job on portrait art. It's something i'm not really good at so i'm impressed with those who can do it. @ Kadaj's Angel-san 06/28/08 - Ichigo. Nice line art. More work can be done on it to make it look even better but if it is just line art it is pretty good. ****************************** DONE!!!!! I'm so so tired XP. That took longer than i thought. Hope everyone is satisfied with the comments. I mean no slight if some of you feel that way in some of the comments. I respect all art & just wanted to point out things that you may use to get better. Continue with everyones art, although this thread does seem to be losing some momentum over time. I hope it is cause everyone is busy (like myself) & not something else. Again i hope this thread will come back to life & be as prominent as it did once before. ********************************* @ TM-san Thanks for the offer about doing a doujin but i have to pass for now. I just don't have the time as i use to before when i posted here often. It would be a great experince to be working with someone with the talent as yourself. Maybe one day when i can get better time management (work) i can consider. Also i'm still not giving up on my own manga story which i would say is about 60% complete...it's something i always wanted to finish & my dream is to get it out to the public. Nerves, confidence & other stuff have prevented that from happening for close to 10 years T___T! One of these days i'll finish it! Again thanks for the offer as well as the comments on my art. I'll repay you in full the next time i do one of these massive comment posts. Right now i'm beat from doing this one XD. |

@izumo : oww thanks for the mass comments^^but knight of apocalypse is not my original characters, they are characters made by vanguard-zero.deviantart.com(he publish his own manga in indonesia^^).well me also dont have a time for now ^^. your manga could reach 60%progress cool!, mine is still not yet 10 % OK dont give up^^. @Ich : thanks^^, wow its so cute!^^ @mjia : wow kira yamato!! good job^^ @taura : !!! your pencil sketch is awesome!!

@all It's really been a while since the last time i come to this thread.... This time, i only will post 3 of my drawings... I still in the middle of a research in a village on the mountain (this is true)...and it's pretty far from the nearest city....right now, i just come back to my house to search some reference on the net...wish me luck ! I'll be back in September But right now, it's Show Time ! (sorry it's all in rough sketch)    That's all for now...i'll be back with more drawings on september ^____^   |
