Hitchhiking to Babylon (Part ii) In the car the driver sat twirling his wee moustache. "To Babylon" he asked aloud, I replied with a nod of my head. The road streches on to the radio song of nostalgia of the singers last days. With emotion to spare for those yet unaware how the heart feelswhen love fades away. The Driver said: "To see this world is nought but seeing a lie the truth we're told has never been more then the fairy tale we're most like to buy." Says I to him: "if that be so then what's the point in beeing alive? If our whole life's station is a grand fabrication then surely it's better to simply die?" "Aha", said he "It's you not me That wishes to find Babylon. and it's all your descission to the degree of percission with which you will decode the lie." The Driver once more twirled his wee moustache and continued along down the road And the green highway sign which we sped by read: 53 MILES UNTIL BABYLON |

as i probe my inner depths for your presence dark clouds shadow my path as holograms of your image haunt me nothing, but emptiness triumphs i dwell in the abyss of phantasmagoria where illusions of your deceptive image lurk for even in my virtual daydreams your apparition cause my being to go berserk i dream of basking in the comfort of your presence to be engulfed in the warmth of your embrace to be secure not only with your words of affection but to rescue my heart from its decay i abhor this limbolike situation but i dare not loathe myself for dwelling in it though this feeling of helplessness has consumed me i opted to remain and wither in silence |

-Prom Night After last night, my ears are still ringing You were with the artsy kids I was out there slam dancing You were f*cking beautiful I was bathed in sweat and blood You came out to see me I figured out what it was I love about you. The reason I hold on, you stood outside waiting for me to limp along You were willing to say you knew me, this scuffy bleeding f*ck And when you caught me lying you told me to shut up. NOw my ears are ringing in tune with the bass line And I'll the I'm thinking how I still care for you. (Now where are my keys?) |

Re: Post-A-Poem

WOW O_O :P I liked it a lot. *saves to word* I wish I could write poems like that. Here's one that is from Chrono Cross. I love this poem ^_^: What was the start of all this? When did the cogs of fate begin to turn? Perhaps it is impossible to grasp the answers now. From deep within the flow of time… But for a certainty back then We loved so many yet we hated so much. We hurt others and were hurt ourselves… Yet even then we ran like the wind. Whilst our laughter echoed. Under cerulean skies…

Re: Post-A-Poem

ooh ohh ohh, I actually have something from my lil sis (well she is actually jsut a very good friend, but she is like a lil sis) This is at the dedication pages kinda of my book. Writing a book is like putting together a puzzle. You know how it will turn out but you don’t know how to get there. Go Roxas' Girl ^_~

@Schala It's on the previous page I think, take a look. @Sky Well, that's debatable I guess. I mean eventually she went back inside and I went across the street to the gamers cafe. But yeah. Could be. If I do ever get back together with her though, I won't be able to write any more. What good is art without angst? |
